Felina smiled and turned around as Oassu went behind the book shelf. She picked up Cid who was already jumping up and down happily inside her bag. "Hey Zadina could you send a little bit of water my way? The slime is making my hair all sticky"

Satoshi turned to Hebal with her eyebrow raised "What sort of map tells you where someone is? I thought those things were just part of stories and how many floors are there that Neliel could be on?" she asked slightly puzzled.

Hayate sighed brushing himself off and cautiously patted Sophia's head "Sure the maps exist, they just aren't easy to find nowerdays. But still can't she just use a similar map to locate us and set up a trap?" he asked Hebal.

Seph smiled taking the fang from Itaka. She snapped her fingers making it disappear into thin air "Thanks Itaka. I'll make it up to you sometime if you wanted it that badly" she told him taking a brief pause "I know you don't like slime but could you please get that little bit off my wing?"

Alpha shrugged then scratched his head "I don't know what. theres the melting itnto slime thats odd but something else feels a little off. Just forget about it, I'm probably just getting myself all worked up" he answered glancing around the room.

Hebal shook her head and wagged a finger at Satoshi "Just because you haven't seen something it doesn't mean its not there. Come see for yourself" she grabbed Satoshi's arm and began dragging her down the corridor.

Itaka raised an eyebrow "Forget about it consider it a gift" he sighed going round behind her and stroking the slime off "You know I've been wondering about wings...are they like part of you so it feels the same as part of you or are they like something separate to you" he said as he stroked the wing. "It's kinda soft" he commented as he removed his hand and wiped the slime on his trousers.

Oassu sighed an put an arm around Felina "I'll fix it later, your hair looks nice but why didn't you give that spell to Itaka Zadina?" he asked.

Zadina giggled "It wouldn't have fixed the smell anyway" he tittered before running after Hebal.

Itaka glared at him as he passed "Cheeky..." he said.

Mari smiled seeing how Hayate smiled she skipped after the others "Wait up Hebal! Satoshi!" she cried as she broke into a run "We can't have many more floors to go right?" she said

Felina smiled "I suppose you could consider it a new outfit and thank you for the compliment. I don't usually tie it back but I thought I would do something different" she shirped putting her arm around Oassu and guiding him down the corridor.

Hayate chuckled quietly once he was sure Mari was out of hearing distence "I don't like anything that can potentially kill you instantly. However Sophia isn't going anywhere fast so I may as well make some effort" he whispred back.

Satoshi rubbed her arm as Hebal let go of her "I think I get it. She could be fleeing further into the mountain if we don't hurry right?" she questionned forming several hand signs then clapped her hands together. "This is what Oassu would have done if he got it right" she coughed as smoke formed around her, which eventually cleared up revieling Satoshi in her usual outfit only completely clean.

Seph giggled a little more "No it's not the same as the viera thing. It's all natural like an arm and a leg. You can't take it off like a backpack and if it were separate I wouldn't be able to do this" she said flapping her wing to the side.

"I see. Pretty much the same reason why I don't like snakes, especially of the basilisk variets" Alpha told Hayate then turned his head back round to Zadina "It's her own fault for leaving her pet up here in the first place."

"We aren't friends" Hebal quickly told Zadina. She dashed on forward to a small table that was sitting in the middle of the corridor. "I found the map now lets see... we got lucky. Neliel is only 2 floors down from us out of a potential 42" she grinned.

Itaka smirked a bit as Seph's wing waved "Y'know thats kinda cute..." he said chuckling quietly "Shame you won't get much use outta it" he sighed.

Oassu smiled stroking Cid "I'll fix it later" he said plucking Cid out and putting him on his hat "Don't I look silly today little guy?" he told him as they caught up with the others "Well don't worry we'll be out of here soon" he said glancing at the map.

Mari smiled "Well see things are looking up we're only two floors away from that villian!" she said punching the air enthusiastically earning her a weird look from Sophia.

Zadina pondered the map "I wonder whats at the very bottom...some super powerful weapon maybe?" he asked Hebal

"Aww thats just silly. Why is the cactuar not labelled green" Satoshi complained not happy about being wrong. She glanced back down at a different area of the map "I take it the cluster of black dots is where we are but whats so special about the book?"

Hayate looked down at the map examining it carefully "Theres got to be more to the next floor than cactuars. Those creatures are cowards who soend most of their time running away. What do all the other dots on the floor mean?"

Felina giggled as Cid shuffled about eventually settling on Oassu's hat. "You do look silly today. But at least the jutsu made your clothes all clean and smell free" she teased petting Cid's head.

Alpha grunted and shrugged at Itaka "Personally I would rather face the cactuar king than the tonberry king if given the choice but it does seem all too easy" he said peeking over Satoshi's shoulder.

Seph turned her head towards the book cases Princess had destroyed to stop the rest of the group from seeing her blush "I think it's just you but thanks for the compliment" she told Itaka. She jogged up to the others once her face had changed back to it's normal colour.

"They may be more tame but these have been trained to attack intruders rather than run, there will be other stuff too" Hebal informed the others leaning over to see what Satoshi was pointing to. "You got that right. I told you already this floor has the count down spells but we trashed a lot of the good ones so we should take the stairs to the next section on controlling the elements. The book at the bottom contains information no mortals should know such as reviving the dead and predicting the future."
