A realist approach would say "it makes no difference. perception doesn't change anything." A pessimistic view would be "bad things will happen regardless of how you hope."
This more optimistic approach, or at least my version says "Why not? It isn't all bad."

It is all about perspective; hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Indeed. Still, hoping for the best is something I keep having to work on . . . today was a difficult day. It was hard to be positive.

I am sorry for your difficulty. Still, we all must press on 1 day at a time.

It was crazy . . . Shifts at work typically are around 5 to 6 hours. Yesterday was around 8, and insanely busy. I will admit to it being lucrative, but very stressful and just plain nuts. Oddly enough today was Friday, and it was . . . calm. I mean, it was how yesterday should have been. We got a lot of prep work done, it was easygoing, and I had a fun time hanging out with my coworker (a very attractive woman who flirts back with me), so today was nice. It was as if the days flip-flopped. Thursday was mind-boggling nuts, and Friday was easygoing.
Huh.
Oh, and some good news came my way today- evidently I got a .25/hr raise. No reason was given, just the owner saying "I'm going to pay you 6.50 now, and it will show up on your next paycheck." I'll take it! mrgreen

Huh, the days being reversed in hectic-ness is strange. Still, the extra hours aren't bad. Ojii-san never rests when there's a flirting to be done. wink
Oh, sweet! That's a random but nice bonus.

I enjoy making people feel good . . . and am a horny ol' goat. So yeah, I flirt. Doesn't hurt that she flirts back. And yes, the raise will be nice. Unfortuantely, I had to call in the last two days because of illness. Been a while since I had a bug, but this one got me. Still going to try and go to work tomorrow, though.

No offense was taken, old friend. Promise. *hugs*
Watching GoBots: Battle of the Rock Lords. Seriously guilty pleasure . . . and thanks to my PS3, I am watching it on the living room TV. Cheesy smiles all around. The crossover of many voice actors is nice too, including Peter Cullen, Telly Savalas, Michael Bell, Roddy McDowall, and Frank Welker. Yes, I started with Optimus Prime, and ended with Megatron.

Okay, good.
I'm glad your cable-cutting appears to be going well thus far. That sure is a lot of TF VAs. IT makes enough sense, though.

yeah, though three of them are well-known to be VAs in a variety of arenas. Frank Welker is ubiquitious in VA.

No kidding; Welker has been Freddy in Scooby-Doo for years if Wiki is to be believed!

He is. If you watch him giving interviews, Fred is his natural voice, but I have also seen him in the voice booth doing voices, and it is indeed Megatron.
Fred is Megatron. Just let that sink in for a moment. Fred is Megatron, and Eeyore is Prime.
