Xiaedessa smiled, and shook her head "Such ugliness around us now....this won't do at all" She tapped the ground with her sword, and the dead flowers revived, only deformed and mutated "Oh well, I tried. Only one thing left to do now" She banished her sword and reverted from her armor "You win, Kyosuke, I guess I couldn't handle you" She giggled and winked at him. After about a minute, she looked around expectantly "Um, I wonder why I haven't been removed from the arena yet?"
Kaguya shook her head "My, aren't you acting rather pissy? Shouldn't you be saving that energy for the arena?" She turned and looked on at the battle, shaking her head as the young girl pounded on the barrier "This is going to end badly, I have the strangest feeling" She turned as Tengu was transported back to the waiting area. She ran over and embraced him "Are you alright?"
Agamemnon roared as he ripped the body to shreds. He was still glowering, as he faced down Haruko, then rushed him. Suddenly, his face contorted and he rushed Haruko with all his might, his torso wide open

"I doubt your concession fills the victory requirement. While we're here, the fight will continue. So lets continue."
Tengu nodded. "Un. I'm fine. It was a fairly easy fight. However she equated me to that green pig thing and then underestimated me because of that. Quite discouraging if I may say so."
"Calm down Asuka. There's no point getting riled up over a dried up old has been." Koori snuck her comment in like a freight train in a grave yard. "Besides if she goes on about it like that, we can only assume it's like that old cartoon, Dragon Ball Z. When the bad guys were stealing energy for Buu." "Old cartoon? What's a cartoon?" "I'll show you later."
Outside of the arena missiles flew over Japan in response to the earlier nuclear strikes. The US and China were in the process of turning North Korea into a wasteland. After days of chaos following not only the nuclear explosion in China from Satsujin-ken's space craft but the assassination of the majority of the world's leaders, and the Japanese thermonuclear attacks, the two world powers deduced North Korea was behind it and the cold war M.A.D.(Mutually Assured Destruction) agreement came into effect.

Xiaedessa nodded "I suppose you are right. Then let's go!" She summoned her sword, and stood in a defensive pose.She was beginning to get an idea of what was going on, so decided to test it. She focused, summmoning her power in a steady flow
Kaguya smiled "Oh, my sweet, how could anyone compare to your absolute beauty!" She shot Zangonya an evil look, then turned to Asuka and Koori "Has been may very well be an accurate term, child. Either way, I take your criticism at face value. And no, this isn't some fantasy anime. But, now that you mention it, it does seem rather similar in conceptual theory. Unfortunately, I myself was not made aware of what this will actually accomplish. Besides Doctor Io, only those who are working with this project directly know the actual details, and that would be Patwinka Fluff, Cosmona Vallour and Chihaya von Teese. They should be with Lady Gamaru by now." She shook her head with a sigh "I don't really know whaat will happen, but I believe in Lady Gamaru. I know this involves the fabric of existence, so I put my trust that this will have a good outcome" She grinned devilishly "Crap, I guess I should act more evil, I am beginning to sound like you do-gooders!" She laughed and began making out with Tengu

Haru landed on the beserker's back, still invisible. His knee slammed into the back of Agamemnon's neck and struck his throat with the back side of Onyx. Leaning forward to grab the other end, he puled sharply as the beast continued to charge. After absorbing a fair amount of energy, he blasted it all into the spinal cord of the charging aggressor, severing the signals to the rest of his body and collapsing him. It was all done painlessly, Agamemnon's life was slipping away in a euphoric haze.
A tear rolled down his cheek. "I am sorry it came to this. But I must live in order to protect Dee-chan."

"Do gooders? Since when does either side have to follow a set behavior for them to be good or bad?" Vain shrugged.
Asuka just let out a heavy sigh. "I'm getting tired of this whole tournament already, and I haven't even fought yet." She rubbed her temples lightly, a headache forming from having to interact with Kaguya on a civil basis. "Couldn't we have just had one big battle royal?"
Vain let out a small chuckle. "That woulda actually been fun, but realistically speaking, I think we would lose. These one on one bouts are our best shot."

Agamemnon lay there in a daze, as his humanity came back to him. "I......thank.......protect........her......" He was struggling to stay alive, and coughed up blood. He used the last of his strength to yank his pendant from his neck, and he held it out to Haruko "Please...........Summer.....I love.....and......sorry" He shuddered, as death was creeping upon him.
Xiaedessa rushed Kyosuke, but stopped as suddenly, all of the barriers went down. A strange sound was heard, like a strong gust of wind and a waterfall, and the tower began to crumble, before sinking. The arena appeared to now be halfway up, hanging of the side like a gigantic balcony.
Kaguya shook her head "Yeah, fun indeed, but I almost think, that this has been arranged by something over our heads. All we can do is what we do best."

Xiaedessa loked to Kyosuke "My hunch was correct, this place is something completely different altogether. As if it is alive in a way. We should get together with the others, now that the path has appeared for us, we need to hurry."
Doctor Io looked away as the girl stumbled over to her dying father, screaming in agony. I cannot bear to watch any longer She brought up the monitor, and dressed everyone "It is time for round two, so those that will fight, please prepare. I wilkl now take my leave, I am requred elsewhere" She turned abruptly and hurried into the corridor, which swallowed her up in and endless void of white.

Summer screamed, beating upon the barrier as she watched her father's battle come to a close. She fell to the ground as the barriers disappeared, and she ran to him, screaming in tears, falling multiple times. She stumbled, and fell to her knees next to him. "Daddy.....no! You promised....." she looked up to Haruko, her eyes full of tears "Why did you.....and he...." she looked as if she was about to say something, but then fainted.
Oberon shook her head "The poor girl finally recovers, and her father goes and gets herself killed before he can rejoice at her recovery. What a stupid, selfish man! He should have just let her die, rather than putting her through this. Oh well, time for the next. Who will go with me?"

Kaguya shook her head "My, it seems your heart is still as cold as ice. No matter, I have no respect for Agamemnon either, after all of this. But then again, perhaps this was the only way for him..."
Tears welled up as Agamemnon looked up at his daughter "My dearest......forgive...me....your father is but.....a fool" He looked over at Haruko "I thank...you......and please.....protect...my daughter....." He felt his vision go blank, and he sighed, as his final moments passed

Hikaru gave a scolding glance at Oberon for the comment, but Haru ignored it. He knelt down and placed his hand on his opponent's chest to sent soothing waves. It would not save him, only make his passing that much easier. He picked up the girl who had cured him and stood slowly. He summoned healing energy enough to wake the passed out girl.

Summer opened her eyes, and looked up to see the face of the man who killed her father "You....you and father......." She managed to stand up, stumbling at first, but holding on to Haruko for support. She wiped her tears and smiled weakly, not looking back to her father "I am sorry, *sniff* I don't think I was suppose to be here. I'm Summer, Summer Evans."
Oberon approached the Twins as the entire arena emitted a loud grumble "It has begun, you know you need to hurry if you are still planning on stopping our objective. This place is growing, which means The Master has begun to awaken. I believe your parents may have mentioned the name to you"

Haru smiled sadly at the girl. "I am Haruko Tsubo. I am sorry for your loss." He felt his sister give him a telepathic nudge, and he followed her to the next area.

Xiaedessa turned to Kyosuke as the Twins left "We should go too, I have the feeling there are going to be much more opponents waiting for us in there than we had out here"
In the Chamber of Chaos, Patwinka, Cosmona, Chihaya, and Doctor Io were already surrounding the gate and altars. Lady Gamaru entered "They are coming, soon now, it will be time." She disrobed, to reveal very light, yet strong, enchanted armor, and her long black hair flowed freely. In this form, her power could be felt, as her restraint robes were removed. Doctor Io looked to her with a sad expression "So then, you will fight too?"
Lady Gamaru nodded "It is my fate, as is theirs, they will not disappoint. I am going" She turned and left the chamber, heading down the spiral corridor, eventually emerging in the Chamber of Purgatory. Here she would wait.
Cosmona looked to the others "You think they will make it up here?"
Chihaya nodded "The Bootyful Quartet will bear their true fangs, as will the Brothers. They will fight, but they will die, and yes, eventually, they will defeat Gamaru. It is all part of the eternal fate of everything. Time will come to pass it"

Oberon looked over to the remaining contenders, and she pointed to Shizue "You will be my opponent, little girl, I think our abilities would oppose each other for quite an interesting match. So get your pretty little body over here so we can mark it up a bit!" She smiled; she lived for thrills, and this was a great one
Brutus looked to Kyros with an averted expression "I will take you on, monster" She walked out into an empty sector and awaited him. She knew that demon smell anywhere, and it was her duty to fight him in this.
Summer looked around confused, then turned to Haruko "Um, Mister Haruko," She looked to him with a confused expression. She still wasn't sure exactly all what had gone on, other than this was the man who had killed her father, but something, some sort of honor between them, had also gone on. But this place made her uneasy, and she wanted to return home quickly "I live in a city called Tokyo. Would you please escort me home? This place is kinda wierd, and I really don't like it?"
Dolores had caught up with the rest of them outside the passageway, accompanied by Honey "This has turned out to be a very strange ordeal. Haruko, take the girl and get out of this place. She has been through a lot, and I don't think it would be safe for her to be exposed to what may further occur if she remains here. Your sister will take care of the rest, so have faith." She turned to Koori "You should come with us, we may have need for your special abilities."
