The crane fluttered in Lydia's hand cutely. Then, the other cranes came over and landed on her, chirping a song.

Lydia looked surprised when she caught the crane. She had been about to give up on it. She turned around and showed the others what she had done. She smiled, widely.
Lily laughed, quietly. She nodded approvingly.

Lydia then opened her hands to see if the crane wanted to leave or not.
Lily watched Durrahn. She remembered her having problems with music before, and wanted to make sure she would be okay.

Kir noticed Durrahn swaying and instantly stopped the birds from singing. He forgot that Durrahn reacted like this to music. So the birds just chirped like normal.
The little crane sat in her hands and fluttered around, tickling her hands.

All Hail the Reign of the Ostriches!Let it hereby be announced that:Durrahn suddenly stopped swaying and blinked. She looked over at Kir and then at the birds and seemed to piece together what just happened. Her look of confusion shifted back into a smile as she watched the magic birds fly around. ...that is all

Lydia giggled, quietly as the bird tickled her. She smiled to it.

Kir looked at Durrahn apologetically. He made one of the magical cranes fly over to Durrahn and land on her shoulder.
The crane twirled and danced in Lydia's hands.

The little crane chirped as it struggled to get away.
Kir thought a moment like this, playing with Lydia and Durrahn, was one of the most precious moments he could ever have. He gave Lily's hand a little squeeze as he smiled and watched them.
