((Waiting for the mob people to approach Sami...))
Sami was sitting on the bench now, still in the zoo and now near the tiger pit. She frowned as she saw some teenage boys provoking it.
Standing, she walked over to them.
"You better stop that," she stated simply. "Before that tiger leaps up and grabs you. They don't like to be provoked."
One of the boys laughed.
"Like it can reach us way up here!" He laughed.
"She," Sami corrected, pointing to the sign that explained about the tiger. "And don't be fooled. Tigers can easily jump over twenty feet high." Her eyes turned sharp, dangerous. "Especially when they have a fresh kill in their sights."
This seemed to hit something within the two boys, and, glancing at each other nervously, they avoided Sami's eyes and shied away from the tiger pit, moving in the direction of the primate part of the zoo.
Rolling her eyes, Sami turned back to the tiger, who was gazing up at her, as if understanding what she had done.
"Stupid boys..." Sami muttered darkly. "Stupid humans. They're the only animal on the planet that consciously plays with something that could tear them limb from limb." Her eyes flashed dangerously as she gazed down at the tiger, and a mutual understanding seemed to pass between them. "They're worthless. They all are." The next words were laced with venom.
"They should all just die."

Beans had excused himself from Iris' presence, and after pausing at the door to the chief's office for a moment, he knocked twice. The faint muffle of a curse word had just barely reached his ears from outside of the door, and now he thought it would be prudent to be present for this. He had given them long enough, too, he supposed.

Anna stood quickly and walked beside Tony, not too close. She didn't like being close to others. "What did you do?" she asked curiously, keeping her eyes ahead as she spoke and her voice down slightly.
