Lady Pyre It's Monday night again. I have yet to start my story... again. And I had the past week off from class and missed the class before that break due to being sick, so... Why do I do this to myself? A fear or an obsession unique to me. I think this is the hardest prompt yet. I had an extra week to do it. And I waited until the last minute like always. Somebody please tell me why I'm such a 'tard? I did that all the time during my last year of school. I seriously didn't care anymore. Apathy affected me too much. neutral That and teacher's more or less try to pull mind tricks over the students (If I put a lot of work into a project I would get a C but if I BSed I got an A. That type of a thing). Teachers also wouldn't give me a high grade because they wanted me to put more effort into what I did next time. But you know what? Just give me the A I freaking deserve. Arg, school, arg. So glad I'm not there anymore....

Yeahhh I did that with studying this past weekend. I had one midterm today and have two tomorrow, so what do I do? I watch Toy Story 3 and Scott Pilgrim with my brother.
So worth it.

That used to happen to me all of the time. Well, these don't really get graded. We get a 1-3 for effort, and I guess if you skipped a bunch it could add up, but... Pretty much our entire grade is revising these things and turning them in as a portfolio at the end of the semester. Obviously this is not going to be one I choose to include. I wish I hadn't skipped the exercise during the Halloween event (bad Pyre) because then I wouldn't feel bad for not turning this one in. But I can't be lazy more than once. Ugh. ._.

I just sold these pants for 50k. (And another person actually commented my profile to ask me to hold them while they got the money.) I should probably feel guilty, but... mostly I'm just ******** amused and happy for the fast gold. I bought them when somebody posted the Macy's leak in the GCD yesterday, and I figured I could sell a few for high prices. 50k, though? I'd probably feel a bit more guilty about it if, you know, the link to the Macy's store where I bought them wasn't posted right on the listing. It's actually how the link was found. I think I'll go put another pair up. If they don't sell, then oh well. They're cute and I'd buy a pair for keeps, anyways. Edit: Damn. They disabled the store. I had a feeling I should have bought more than one pair. Still... 50k. rofl

Why, oh why, in the new Transformer Prime animated serie, they give Optimus Prime a mouth????
Really? I've grown up with the the good ol original Transformer series and my Optimus doesn't have a mouth and doesn't need one to get his point across as he's that awesome! And the other robots look ugly!!!
It's like seeing the Mario Brothers without a mustache: it doesn't compute and I also grown up with those two.
It's like the Konami Code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B,A,B,A, Start) with no button, it doesn't work!
Maybe my cough gives me this crankiness, and the trailer just added a nostalgic flare to it, but I really can't help it. Oh and don't get me started with all this texting craze.... evil

Beni - At least he's still Optimus Prime. I looked up the new Strawberry Shortcake series, and while I really don't have an issue with them updating the look (they're still cute and not skanky like they like to make everything these days), I have some major issues with the characters. They've just shuffled the personalities around on a whim.
Blueberry, who was the forgetful one, is now the brainiac. Plum, who was the smart one, is now a dancer. Lime, who was the dancer, is not there... but then, she was never a major character, anyways. But dammit, if they wanted a dancer, it should've been Lime. >.<

I'm sick of hearing people say that they think it's unhealthy my boy and I don't fight. The reason we don't fight is, oh, I don't know, maybe because we LISTEN to each other and talk over our disagreements rather than just yelling at each other and storming off. D:
Whatever. All that matters to me is that we're happy together.

I feel kinda... guilty. Just bought both of these panda mugs from Modcloth, even though they're pretty pricey for cups. But dammit, they're adorable and I've wanted them since I saw them months ago. It has to be a sign that my mom's Instyle had a 15% discount code and they just came back in stock today, right? Right? <.< It's not like I bought that ugly hood/scarf thing for $120. fufufu

I've been wanting to bash my head into a wall lately because of work. Had four different General Managers the past few months. I don't know what the owner is thinking, but it's not organized. He promoted one manager that was very good, but later fires her within a few weeks because he decided that he was paying her too much. That he can find more people just as good and pay for less...honestly? I don't think it was very worth it. At least 27 people quit when she was given the boot and more people are leaving. Owner later begs for my friend to come back, but she refused since she was treated poorly after being dedicated for a over two years. She owns a cafe now and many people have considered quitting to go to her.

I thought the opposite was true. wtfppl Wish I hadn't have been so hasty and bought a cursed pumkpin for 260k. Oh well. They'll be worth more later. Still sucks that I fought Jack twice but I could never stay on the server "layer" so I didn't get anything. rolleyes Oh well, I have a lot of gold.

I really love a lot of the dresses, but I'm kinda afraid to order any because I have trouble fitting them. Large bust, tiny waist, even larger hips. It would probably be okay since most of the styles I like are A-line, but I dunno. Taking them to the tailor or sending them back is a pain in the a**. I'm particularly in love with these three dresses. But at those prices, it's a major splurge, so they'd better fit as-is. I wouldn't want to risk a bad tailoring job and be unable to send them back. And I'd finally have somewhere to wear such fancy clothes with the performing arts center opening soon.

Well, that's what happens when you grow up with two brothers. XD But I would have been as upset if they would have messed up with the Transformers' personae as they did with the Strawberry Shortcake ones... It's like messing up with the Konami code.

I think that first dress (the green one) is my favorite of those three, Pyre. It's so classy and pretty...but yes, expensive. =(
