"Did I ever tell you of the Vargulf? The beast that stalks the mind of every anchient vampire... the thing we become if we give in to the blood lust. It usualy takes hundreds of years but I accidently found a way to speed it up. I changed myself into one of those things and barely managed to change back. It was thanks to my student that I am here right now like this." Shadow stood and took a few steps away from her. "Here let me show you what curse I have." he said as he unclasped his cloak and let it fall to the ground. "I won't let the full transformation take place, I'll change just enough for you to see what it is first hand." Shadow hunched his back forward and forced the transformation upon himself. His bones cracked and shifted, changing length and shape. His face shifted into that resebling a bats, his arms turned to wings, his hands to claws, his skin to fur. Stopping the transformation there he fell forward and suported himself on what use to be his elbow. Now his claw like hands sat at the joint.

 I couldn't hold myself up with my mind much longer than I already had so I floated my way to the steps and sat on the third one down. I sat thinking about what Shadow and Cassidy were up to, he was probably filling her in on what had been happening since she left. And I hoped he was behaving himself, not doing anything he would regret, especially now that he had a wife, and child.

Cassidy sat there staring at him an expression across her face that couldn't be described. It wasn't fear, or shock, or curiousity. It was a blend of suprise, awe, and a tad bit of curiousity. She stood up and walked over to him and placed a hand on his head running her fingers through the fur. "Pretty," she cooed softly. She smiled softly and entwined her fingers in the fur. "Are you evil in this form I mean. How old were you when you were sired Shadow?"

Shadow rubbed his head against her hand. He hand more control now over the beast than he ever had. "I am as I always was in this for, as long as I keep the beast undercontrol. I was born into this world as what you call a vampire. I was never sired. Our two lines hold some similarities but many differances." he spoke directly to her mind. For some reason he could only do that in this form and not as himself. Upon realising that Cassidy hadn't run he started to feel a little better about his afliction. "This isn't the full transformation. I would grow to half the size of this mansion... maybe bigger."

Cassidy giggled like a little child, smiling at him "You're such a cute fluffy." She was acting a bit like a kid, but it would pass, Cassidy afterall resided on the frayed edge of sanity bordering on the insane. "Oh and what are those differances Mr. Big Bad Fluffy?" she asked as she ruffled his ears. "Then how old is it you appear? You don't look old Fluffykins," Cassidy said with another giggle.

Shadow looked round to Cassidy. "Don't make me bite you." he said to her mind as he let out a low growl. "I'm only kidding. I am not totaly sur eof differances but a reflection is one, imunity to silver and holy items. I don't know how those wisoran survive the world with so many weakness'." he said as he his full body shived for a moment. "I apear to be 20. That is when our bodies stop aging. Not bad for a weapon am I?" he said joking with the last part of his stament.

Cassidy giggled and said, "Is that a threat, or a reward?" In a singing voice she said, "Sexy Vampire, I'm falling in love, so Bite me baby, and Drink all my blood! Sexy Vampire I'm fallin in love with you, you need my plasma more than I." She giggled once more and said, "Twenty, I see. And you make a very nice weapon." With that Cassidy scrambled onto his back her thighs pressing into his sides. "Piggyback!" she said with a childish squeal.

"That all depends on how you want it." he said with a slight wink before she jumped onto his back. "Ok I'll give you a ride, where do you want to go?" he asked. Shadow relaxed more now than he had in a while. He decided to refrain from telling the last part of the current events. He didn't want to kill the mood.

Cassidy giggled and said, "Now now, we have to, be appropriate," she sounded drunk, that blood had gone to her head afterall. "Let's go to the forest and see the moon! She said laughing as she buried her hands in his fur holding on tight. "Gooo Mr. Fuzzykins!"

"Well then brace yourself." he said as he walked to the edge of the roof that over looked the forest. He lept from the roof and extended his wings. They started to slowly glide through the air. Shadow thought he would keep them both in the air for a while before landing. "Having fun?" he asked.

 I sat there playing with my dagger Malice had given me, throwing it up in the air, practicing with my telekinesis, trying to hone the power and use it as best as I could. Then I remembered the telepathy and I thought about listening to other's thoughts but gave up on the idea since I felt like it was an invasion of privacy

"Very much so," she said with a giggling laugh. Holding on tightly with her legs she layed down her arms lightly wrapped around his neck. She smiled burying her face in his fur. "This is nice Shadow, I missed you." She kissed his furry neck and laughed again. "Weeee! Oh Mr. Fuzzykins you're so cute all, furry!"

Shadow tilted slightly so he could turn more effectivly. He soared throught he air and past the front of the mansion, still well about the hight of the mansion.
"I missed you to Cassidy. It has been strange not having you around." he said as he turned again.

Valaryia exited her room, weary from over-exerting herself in manipulation. As she sat down on the foot of the stairs, she felt a strange heat by her ear. When she turned to the left, behold was a flickering flame. With a small yelp, she jumped back and the lit red candle fell to the ground, breaking. Quickly she stamped on the fire and it easily put out. She sighed and felt stupid. She had maniplated the candle all the way down the stairs and wasn't even aware of it. Valaryia rubbed her temples.
