Being the creator of an RP is actually incredibly hard sometimes. >> It makes me so... tired. Especially when a whole bunch of people join, then never post. stare Or they post a bit, then leave without saying anything. But then again, it's also really fun. Especially when you launch bombs on your members and watch as they squirm in frustration. twisted ... But that's just me. sweatdrop

Teehee, Talon. I prefer feeding them brownies, hot chocolate or various other treats that may or may not be poisoned, then pretending to know nothing about it. Also, tying them up with birthday streemers, pushing them in a vat of slug slime or cackling madly are other enjoyable methods of torture. twisted
I mean, uhm, I'd never do anything like that. :3

I've started around hmm... five rps and yup, had the same problems and I've even had illiterates randomly pop in and destroy everything... this was back when guilds didn't exist.

While I've never done those things [*cough*liar*cough*], I usually rely on gravity. [i.e. 'accidentally' pushing them off high towers, not answering their questions as to why we're on the roof of a skyscraper...]

You don't need to worry, I doubt Princess of Insanity (the one who likes feeding friends poisonous treats, etc.) will be showing her face around RPR anytime soon. She mostly sticks to InkClan, my other roleplay guild. Good for her! ^_^
Before I came to Gaia (Ie, when I was still on Neopets), I hardly ever roleplay'ed on the boards. I still haven't tested the waters with the Gaian Forums, sticking with my guild roleplays for now. :3
Anywhoo, dinner calls! I shall return soon, please don't leave me behind in a whirlpool of twenty-or-so pages of posts to read. XD

biggrin Neopets, waveh? That's where I first discovered the *real* technique of role playing. <3 though now I much prefer role playing on Gaia. 3nodding
As for the forums, I'm in several RPs in there. But it's kinda hard advertising your role play if it's in the forums. There's so many people, and all the popular threads push down the unpopular threads... emo

As with any RP creation, lots of research, knowledge and patience must come into play.
I will never create a half-assed RP, the world of which I do not know anything about.
That's why I rarely come out with RPs, and when I do, they're very detailed (which is what I think scares some of the people off).
