~That seems to be the most fitting explanation.~ He'd had a feeling what she wanted to try, and it appeared he wasn't wrong. He rubbed his arm. He hadn't even looked at it since the night before. He removed it from the inside of his shirt. His palm had taken a more bluish color, fading into a paler tone as it went up his arm.

Nyl kept her face carefully neutral. ~If you could use ijutsu on it, then chakra can go through it. You said you didn't see anything with your...eyes. You know.~ Nyl added the mental equivalent of a dismissive wave. ~Do you think it would be easier to find something if you were looking for someone else's chakra?~

He looked her in the eyes, raising an eyebrow, as if asking if she could risk spending anymore of her chakra. ~Yeah. Much easier..~

He grinned at her and held out his arm. It was heavier than usual.

The veins around his eyes pulsed and grew, his pupils disappearing into a milky white.

Nyl wrapped both hands around his wrist and sent chakra through his arm, watching his face instead of what she was doing. There was nothing for her to see anyway.

Seph wiggled his fingers, then clinched his fist. There was still a bit of residue from where he had used ijutsu, so he could pinpoint where the wound had been. And it was there that he found something very peculiar.
~Can you increase how much chakra you're outputting just a little..?~ Byakougan zoomed in on the spot, watching it intently. Seph's eyes narrowed some, his face tensing just slightly.

Reeve tries to exercise his eyes, fousing in on different things around the room. His hand, Nyl, Seph, the table, Nyl, his shoelaces, his pendant. Things were getting better. Slowly, he draws his sword, inhaling sharply as he sees the damage.
"Oh, my..."

~Sure do.~ That sealed the deal. He dropped byakougan and looked at his arm, then looked back up at her. ~Whatever it was, it managed to cut a single strand of chakra. Too small to be noticed throughout the body, too small to be noticed with my level of byakougan. But I didn't know that poisons could spread through chakra..~

Nyl let go in mild surprise. ~Poisons? That doesn't make sense. And no poison spreads that slowly, either.~
Nyl looked over at Reeve when he spoke, but he was studying his sword.
~So how do we fix this?~

He sighed some and lifted his arm to eye-level and looked it over before slipping it back under his shirt, close to his body, where it was warm.
~I don't know how to fix it. I don't even know what's causing it.~

~Never done that before. I've unblocked chakra before, but I've never heard of a strand of chakra being.. severed. Would Ijutsu get the job done?~
