"Timers...timers... I dunno. Check the third drawer over there, beside you." Reeve is mildly suprised he's already been asked to look for something specific.

Seph laughed, "No no. I'm saying, there aren't any times. They're generally not needed." He whistled again and went back to his pans. He'd decided to go with steak. That would probably taste good in a rice cake.

"That's what I'm talkin' about! Surf and turf!" Reeve grins happily, about halfway through his bowl-o-shrimp.

Seph began taking what Reeve had deshelled, cut off the tails and sliced into smaller pieces. He tossed it on the pan and shook it a bit before setting it back on the stove.

Takehiko emerged from his room, as if he had to morph through the shadows to get back to relaity. His motions were practicaly silent, and his speed was a steady, fluid pace. He stopped for a moment, though, at the entrance to his room to turn about and close the door. As he was closing the door though, he found himself in thought about something that was truely bothering him, deep down. He brought his right hand up to touch his right cheek, a bandage had been put over a few small cuts. And from there, Takehiko moved the right hand to his lower back on the right side, something a bit different had happened there, but one wouldn't have been able to see, due to the clothing that Takehiko was wearing.
A slight grumble escaped Takehiko's throat as he allowed his hands to fall completely limp at his sides. Turning away from the door to his room, He put the thoughts in his head aside to make room for thoughts about something else. While he began to try and formulate a different course of thought, Takehiko began walking, just straight, down the hall into the main room. He was extreamily bored, one could see it on his face. Though he no longer looked quite as dirty, quite as tired as he had previously.
Takehiko arived in the main room, and he would stride calmly in towards it's center. There, he would place himself on the floor, sitting in a meditative sort of manner, though he wasn't meditating, and his eyes weren't closed. He just looked at the front doors, a blank and dumb stare on his face.

Reeve finishes peeling the shrimp, balling the peels up in the paper towel. "He shoots....Aw, baby, nothing but net!" He makes a perfect shot into the garbage can, suprising himself.

He grinned again and yawned a bit, shaking his head. "I must not have slept solidly enough last night.." He said, rubbing his eyes idly. He took a scooper for the rice and placed it on a large platter he had pulled down just seconds before. He passed it to Reeve, then began taking the chunks of shrimp off the pan. "Let 'em cool a bit, then get to rolling!"

Reeve nods, letting the rice cool for a bit, then starts rolling it into balls. "I really don't have much experience in the kitchen."

He smiled a bit and took one of the chunks of shrimp, embedding it in the first ball of rice. "Just place some shrimp in the rice and roll around it. See if you can shape it to a triangle, too." He turned back to his pans and shook the one that held pieces of now-browning meat.

"O-okay," Reeve does as asked, but with one question. "Why triangles?"

Seph stopped for a second, looking up, thinking to himself. "Y'know, I never questioned it. Come to think of it, I've also seen them in squares and balls, but I guess I always like the triangles best." He laughed, "Shape them however you like."

"Don't tempt me..." Reeve grins. "Circles, triangles, squares...I can probably do a nice rice version of 'The Thinker'..."

Nyl stood at the door, watching silently for a while. She was leaning against the doorframe, one eye on Seph's cooking and the other on Seph and Reeve.
"You know I worry about your kitchen capers."

Reeve accidentally crushes the riceball he'd been making, startled by Nyl. "Och! Hey there, Nyl."
