Seph jumped awake, looking around for any signs of attack. He sat back lazily when he saw Reeve on the floor and the coffee table turned on it's side. "Hey, Reeve. Sleep well?"

"Slept great," Reeve grins, turning his head to look at the blur that was Seph. "Waking up?....Not so much."

He smiled at Reeve, then looked to Nyl. Still sleeping, it seemed, as soundly as ever. But that was an exterior observation. For all he knew, she could be wide awake right now, just unwanting to let everyone else know. He shook his head and picked Reeve back up before fixing the blanket back over Nyl.
"Let's get some tea, whaddya say?"

"Sure. 'S 'at Nyl?" Reeve asks. "I owe her the world, you know...I owe both of you."

Seph raised an eyebrow. "I keep hearing that, you know? I owe you this, I owe you that." He sighed and pocketed his good hand, his other tucked away and hidden. The portion of his shoulder that could be seen was paling.
"There's leftover food, also." He nodded his head towards the kitchen. "Can you see your way there?"

"Not really well... it's so bright.. but I have to try to get used to it.." He starts walking toward the kitchen, putting one foot in front of the other, slowly.

Seph nodded and followed behind Reeve, making sure he didn't run into any walls. He pulled out a chair for him and moved to the fridge. "Rice? Eggs? Bacon? It's up to you."

"Well that makes it tough! It all looks good." He grinned and pulled out the cornerstone of any japanese diet: Rice. "How about ricecakes. Do you like shrimp?"

"Yeah!" Reeve enthuses. "It's been ages since I've had seafood. Sounds great. Is there any way I can help?"

"Hmm." Seph thought about that for a second. "Well, how good are you at skinning shrimp? Can you do it with limited vision?"

"Pretty sure I can do it by feel. It's not really difficult." Reeve stands, making his way toward the counter.

"Good deal." He pulled a bowl of shrimp out and sat it in front of Reeve before beginning a pot of rice. He whistled a bit and pulled another pan out. Now he had a steaming pot and two pans sitting on the stove. One for shrimp, and one for another meat that did not come from the sea. He hadn't decided what yet, though.

Reeve begins to peel the shrimp, setting the shells aside on a paper towel. "You know, I'm gonna get fat if you keep cookin', Seph. I can't stop eating good food."

"Heh, this is from years of practice. Every day, I cook, and every day, I experiment. And every day, I have to end up throwing something out. It's all biodegradable, but it still seems like a waste. It's not a difficult task, I guess. And mastering Ho really helps. It's easier to tell when food it done." He grinned some, happy to be talking about one of his favorite hobbies. "Don't see any timers around this place, do yeh?"
