~Slowly.. Slowly, now..~ He nodded his head up a bit, the lights raising very very slightly.

He obeyed, raising the lights a bit more. He dropped byakougan, letting his eyes adjust again. There was enough light in the room now to make out shapes, but nothing was very distinguishable.

He squints against the light, which is garish and bright to him.
"It's getting lighter..."

Nyl smiled. "Yes, it is. It won't get much brighter than this, but it has to, a little, so I can actually see your eyes." She figured Seph would take a cue from that. "But you'll be sensitive to light for a few days, and things are probably going to look blurry."

He had an idea of what would be said next, and he did take the cue. He rose the level of light in the room a bit more and nodded.
"How's that?"

" 'S good." Nyl looked right at Reeve's eyes, noticing his squint. Other than that, though...they looked the way they'd used to.
"Turn the lights back down, Seph." Nyl covered a yawn with one hand. "I think I'll be falling asleep in a minute or two..."

He nodded softly and dimmed the lights again.

Reeve's eyes darken,from white to brown, to green, and back to their deep honey- brown again. He tries to focus his pupils but his eyelids descend rapidly again as he falls to sleep.

Nyl waited until she knew Reeve was asleep before she got up, finding another couch to sit on. The world was tilting slightly, and her mind felt foggy. I'm pretty sure that would be considered stretching it...
"Seph...remind me tomorrow I have someting I want to try..." She moved to lay down but instead nearly fell headfirst off the couch.

He knelt down and caught her quickly with his good arm, lifting her back up onto the couch. "No problem, Nyl. Sleep well." He smiled and took the blanket that was on the floor next to her couch and tossed it over her.

Nyl's eyes fell shut all by themselves, and she fell asleep.

He stood again and smiled at her. He moved to the coffee table and threw a blanket over Reeve as well, before picking up the latest shard of Reeve's sword. He held it between his fingers, then snapped them, the shard teleporting to the medbay office. He took a seat on the third and final couch, a small fire erupting over his shoulder. He pulled a book from his back pocket and read until he fell asleep.

Reeve opens his eye, slowly. Had everything always been so bright and blurry? Wait...bright and blurry? He could see! The picture quality sucked but he could see! He springs to his feet and walks around, squinting, trying to get used to the light....and he fails, miserably, as he did not detect the coffee table before him. He trips and lands roughly on his back, staring at what he assumes is the ceiling.
