Kenpo is like a form of Kung Fu that uses the same training methods as Karate. It does work with a couple weapons, like Chinese Broad sword, Tai Chi sword, Bo Staff and Spear, but its not too much like Kendo. Kendo is more for competition, where as Kenpo is designed for street defence. Kenjutsu, however, is the more traditional methods of japanese swordsmanship.

Almost reminds me of Budokan... 'cept there's no weaponry involved except for your bare fists.

Oocca Huh, that's pretty cool. Thanks for explaining it. :3 Almost reminds me of Budokan... 'cept there's no weaponry involved except for your bare fists. Yeah, Kenpo is mainly about bare fists too. And Im sure they train a little in Judo or Jujutsu in Kendo and Kenjutsu. I belive the first year of their training, they don't even hold the sword. Its just conditioning to get the body ready for it.
