not all rebels are cramped in tiny places with no sense of privacy and/or sepperation. hell, one of the main things rebels are called is "sepperatists" -- though I get that that's used in a different context.
my point is, I don't think your idea would unpunk the punk-mod lifestyle.

I always found the idea of trying to look punk really odd, it's like trying to look "grunge." Though I get what you're saying and it's a neat idea either way. I want to eventually have some ink. I was thinking about the different creatures and living things that occur repeatedly in my life (totems I like to think), but I haven't the money to get them professionally done, and as yet I don't know any tattoo artists personally.
In other news I've been forcing myself to write more regularly in the last little while, and I'm getting back into my dance groove as well. Plus I have an exciting job interview coming up on monday. Things are good.

Well, not until my body-mod beauty boutiques became an iconic national fad! whee

I actually thought about getting into the spa thing, because there is realatively short educational/certification time when you look at the money you can make from it starting out...
For myself, I would get into massage therapy... I think the norm license time here is about 500 educational hours, and many career tech schools offer that in some pretty time condensed programs... Then I could work for any gyms, medical institutions, or spas in the area that are hiring... even several salons in the area are wanting to have an in-house massage therapist... and there seems to be a shortage...
... but I think I have talked myself down from it... there are allot of things I actually want to do, and the only reason I would get into that field is because of the possible money... If I didn't make the money, I would be more than disappointed with myself...

I'll trade you bellies (your really don't wanna do it xp )
I have crazy stretch marks from my first pregnancy... Over a 3 day weekend (Labor day weekend 2001 to be exact), I went from a 34 inch belly to a 42 inch belly in the beginning of my 6th month... It was crazy, and my skin actually broke in places... I was bruised and miserable... It was the weekend from Hell for so many reasons...
Anyway, I have some pretty rough scars from it... on the bright side, I didn't really get many new ones in my second pregnancy...

I just have the crackle effect from my waist to my c-section scar. Plus, the picture is of a tiny part of my tummy, so you can't see the perma-muffin-top or my lightening-strike hips. razz

Well, my muffin is shrinking steadily, although not as fast as I would like... but then, anything short of instantaneous is slower than I would like xp ... I don't really have an issue with my scars, and neither does my husband, so I don't really fret over that... I just want my shape back... if I got my shape back the belly ring would reappear. I never really thought of scars as deformative, like some people do, but I have a friend who would wig out every time she saw my stomach after I acquired my marks. I have realized that allot of women would be devastated if they had suffered the degree of scarring as I had... I am kinda proud of them though. I take the man's point of view, and i see them as a story to tell. LOL xd

That works best when you have impressive scars. My pregnancy badges just look like old crackly granny skin. razz
