Blackflame looekd at her mate, his cold nose pressed against hers for a second. He seemed so excited he rushed out of Camp. Blackflame followed. Tail swishing back and forth happily."A vole thingy?"Blackflame laughed. "Its a vole! I think you stayed in there so long oyu mgiht have gone crazy."Blackflame mewed, with a small chuckle.
Treepaw huffed. "His mother was younger than me"Growled Treepaw, scuffling his paws against the dusty ground. "She was never much of a Warrior, that leopard coated she-cat thought she was everything."Growled Treepaw a bit more. And he stalked up to Guardiankit. "Your mother was younger than me, your mother was a kti while I was an apprentice. Your mother, thought she waas everything. Thats why she died, she got to cocky."treepaw growled, and stalked away, back to protecting Dappeldstorm.
(If oyu odn't like the post i'll reedit it, but Leopardstorm wasn't like that she was nice and sturf, but Treepaw is odler than her xD )

[Guardiankit let out a snarl and leapt to his feet, his fur fluffed out and rippling in rage. His eyes were fierce and he snarled at the she-cat.]
"How dare you!" he screeched. "I was talking to you just fine till you started insulting me!! My mother was twice the warrior you'll ever be, and she was better looking, too!"
[He huffed at her, his rage boiling inside his little body, making him tremble.
How dare she talk about Leopardstorm like that!]
"You're just a haughty fat ol' flea-covered she-cat who hates everyone for no reason!" he screamed.

[ Poisonpetal's eyes went wide with hurt, then narrowed with anger. She bared her teeth and let out a nasty snarl, stepping closer to the kit. ]
"BETTER LOOKING?"
[ The gray she-cat now looked like a replica of a stormcloud, completely fluffed up and twice her normal size, threat rippling off her in low, haughty waves.
She was angry - no, she was furious beyond all reason. She felt like totally snapping, letting go of every bit of common sense she had and giving this kit a good thwomping. She shuddered visibly, shaking out a low hiss. ]
"You think you're big and bad," she spat, "but you're not. Your mother would be ashamed!"
[ Poisonpetal calmed rather quickly, her curiosity snapping into motion as Treepaw stalked up. Her mouth opened slightly as he spoke, as if she were to snap at him, and turned to Guardiankit with clearer eyes. She blinked and felt a little claw of guilt sink through her thick fur. ]
No way I'm being as mean as Treepaw, right? I mean, Guardiankit started it with me! What place did Treepaw have in this conversation?
[ Poisonpetal's whiskers twitched and she moved even closer to the stubborn kit, placing the inside of her front leg to his flank, as if that would apologize for and fix what she said.
It wouldn't, yet Poisonpetal understood how the insult felt - her parents, too, died of a serious case of cockiness. ]

"Shut up, flea-bag!" he hissed at Treepaw. "You've been an apprentice your whole life cuz you'll never be good enough! My mother became warrior because she deserved to, unlike you! You never amounted to anything in this Clan, and you never will!"
[The minute he'd said it, he regretted his words. He huffed, a flash of guilt flickering across his face. He licked his lips and looked away, looking at the ground.
That was too mean, he thought solemnly.
It's just...the things he said about my mother... it filled him with a rage he couldn't control!
He felt a nudge and saw Poisonpetal touch him gently. Her mood swing startled him, but it matched his own. Whereas they were once both on the offensive, they had both switched ot defensive. Or something. He looked away, not able to look her in the face, but he didn't move away from her. He began to tremble, his little body shuddering with waves of sadness.
Who am I kidding? I never even got to know my mother. Or my father. I'm just...a stupid orphan... he hung his head low, eyes downcast and ears flat. His tail twitched nervously.]

[ Poisonpetal felt even worse at Guardiankit's withdrawal, though she faintly approved of his haughty retort to Treepaw. It was probably bad to encourage that behavior, but, seriously, who was she to meow?
She rounded the kit, sitting on his left side to wrap her long tail around him. She looked down at him, a very sad attempt at a comforting smile taking place of her regular sneer. ]
"It'll... be okay?"
[ Poisonpetal didn't comfort on a regular basis. It was very awkward for her, since she was usually the one causing cats to need comfort. ]
"He didn't know what he was talking about," she murmured, looking up.
[ She stared across the clearing at Treepaw, contempt clear in her summer grass eyes. ]
Not that I'm any better.
[ She shook off the thought, sighing softly. ]

He didn't expect her to comfort him (plus, it seemed out of character for her...), but it still strangely comforted him. He looked up at her a bit shyly, worry crossing his face.]
"I didn't know what I was talking bout either," he said with a sigh. "I never really knew my mother, I guess. She coulda been the haughtiest cat in all the Clans for all I know. But, you know..."
[He ducked his face away again.]
"Nobody wants to hear mean things about their mother," he muttered, finishing the short monologue weakly.
[He hesitated, then peered up at her face again.]
"I'm sorry I called you a fat flea-bag," he muttered. "I just said it to make you mad. I didn't mean it."
[He paused, knotting his face together in effort as he thought.]
"You're very unfat," he stated with conviction.

My mtoher got killed, my father's a traitor, a dirty traitor, i'm blind in one eye, my sister is in lvoe with the worst cat ever. I have never been accepted, if you haven't noticed my heritage. I'm 3/4's of the clan, that's why i'm not a WArrior, you can't trust me. Thats why, they think i'll betray them. Well you mgiht betray them too. Your mtoher became a WArrior, because of kits. Becuase she got pregnant, that cocky idiot."Treepaw said, he felt guilt rage inside him, he shouldn't be so mean. but... All his rage was building up, he couldn't stop it. He shook with the anger. [ Poisonpetal laughed sharply at the "very unfat" comment. Her eyes glistened with humor and a touch of respect for Guardiankit as she looked down at him. After all, he had all of her own rage and sharpness, but he also had the sense to admit it. She didn't have that, for sure.
She glanced up at Treepaw's voice, her whiskers twitching with worry. He didn't seem exactly stable to her. She shook her head, focusing back on Guardiankit. ]
"It's alright," she said softly. "Your mother was a very... tactful warrior."
[ Poisonpetal'd never talked to his mother before. ]
"She was after, all, a Nightclan warrior," she said brightly.
[ She'd never gave his mother more than an irritated glance. ]
"She was great!"
[ Poisonpetal didn't actually even remember his mother.
But he didn't know that. ]

Wait, Fathom was my dad?
The thought never occured to him. Somehow. He didn't really realize it before...
Somehow, it felt very, very, very weird to him that Fathom was his dad. It just felt wrong, even though it felt right at the same time.
Can't be...
He shook his head, and rake his claws against the ground, tearing shallow cuts into the earth angrily. He wanted to rake his claws against the mangy warrior's back, but he couldn't. Lavenderstar'd kill him. He just glared at the ground gloomily, his tail twitching in irritation.
He listened to Poisonpetal and a hint of amusement crossed his face.]
"Yeah, sure," he agreed simply, his ears twitching. He added a bit more enthusiastically, "Thanks."
[He doubted the she-cat had knew his mother very well, but her attempts to make him feel better were unusual for her. So he simply accepted them, a tired smile on his face.]] _______________________________________________ I will repent for what I've done to you

Coward is most definitely right.
[ She shifted on her haunches rather awkwardly, now, unsure of what to further say. Her eyes flicked down to Guardiankit, then back up, then back to him. Her whiskers twitched and she fidgeted, digging her claws into the soft, cold earth, retracting them, repeat. She unwound her tail from around the kit and placed it over her own paws, staring intently at the ground before looking - again - around camp.
A sudden thought struck her. ]
"Guardiankit," she said clearly, turning her jade eyes to him. "Don't you have any siblings?"
[ Surely he wasn't a one-kit litter. Did that even happen? Poisonpetal grimaced, thinking of her five siblings.
Brightfeather, the youngest she-cat, too tame for the wild, a pathetic kittypet, now. Molly. Bleck.
Sunstroke, one of the middle males, dumb enough to fall into a very deep ditch. Broken neck, not pretty.
Browntail, oldest brother, wandered off, cocky about being a new warrior. Didn't come back - no loss, there.
Dawnpaw, younger male, hit by a monster on a thunderpath.
Sweetkit, tried to make friends with a snake. Didn't work out too well.
Poisonpetal shook her head again. How was she the only one smart enough to still be around? Didn't even make sense. ]

The fact that she didn't know about Silentkit yet didn't surprise him though. She seemed enveloped in her own world, but he didn't mind. He was pretty much like that when he obsessed over his mother's death...and he still didn't know everyone in the Clan.]
"Yeah," he said casually, not really caring that she didn't know. "Sunkit and Silentkit. Silentkit's the..."
[He paused, remembering how he'd been neglecting his sister. A wave of guild washed over him, and also one of love. Intense love. He loved her so much, and had been so far from her...]
"...crippled one," he finished, looking at his paws. "Her back legs are useless. I should've spent more time with her...she feels realy bad 'n stuff about being crippled."
[He sighed sadly. He'd been a coward from avoiding her, afraid of the burden of a crippled sister. But he was supposed to guard her. And he would, from now on! He felt a new resolution to protect Silentkit with all his might. He nodded to himself, a determined look on his face.]
