Hahah! She knows her history. And yes i was barbaric i wasnt called the impaler for nothing Chiru. Alucard stated using the girls name and not some child or kid comment in its place. But what would you have done when your father surrendered you only to have you rot in some cell and be tortured by Turks day in and day out? At least i never forced myself on the children like they did me. Alucard said to her with a grin, he was truly mad from all that had happened to him, past and present. And he wasnt the only one in this room who was a bit off.

His name is Rain and he's been through hell, but he's the nicest person you'll ever meet. Heck, look at your own son, he's a prime example too. Granted, I don't know the extent of his past, but mom spoke fondly of him. She said your son was a shining beacon of hope, despite how much he wanted to think otherwise."
She crossed her arms over her chest and looked up at the cieling.

"That's why we need to reprogram the blood. They do the same thing with snake venom. Unfortunately, if I am able to reprogram it, a person will only be able to use it to cure vampirism once. More than likely, they will develope an immunity to the serum after the first use. So if they get bit again they'll still change. It won't help much, but anything is better than nothing."
He poured some of Alucard's blood into another vial. He took out some more pieces of equipment and started getting to work. "Besides, there will only be a small amount of his blood. Let's just hope that he can't mentally manipulate the perfected serum into his favor."

The Eaters weren't affected much by the holy sword, but they were affected by the nanites. However, the nanites had to be sacrificed in order for even one of them to die. Every swing of the sword meant less nanites to use. One of the giant worm-like Eaters kept a watch on the shadow gate, its intimidating girth filling up a good portion of the hallway. Chaos Eaters kept flowing out of that gate like a non-stop river. Soon they'd overrun the world if they had their way!
The cuplinks were almost done being welded to the pods, Victor falling in head-first to reach the bottom ones. Vincent finished off the upper sections.

Ivy tried to keep off the ground as much as she could as she swung her sword to get as many of the chaos eaters as she could. Eventually, Ivy was realizing that the nanites on her sword were disapating(sp).
"Damn, I need more of these things, but I've got nothing with the amount of nanites that android had. Where in the hell am I going to get that amount of nanites without leaving the compound?"
Ivy thought while she was fighting off the chaos eaters. Then she thought she would send a message to her brother to relay to one of the others.
"D, can you ask one of the others to make a sword for me that is made strictly from nanites in the blade and the blade alone? The tatics I'm using are working but it won't last long. I know they are mostly working on the tank, but I need as much help as I can get while you guys try and destroy the queen once the tanks are done. Please help me out."

Luna gave them a cheshire grin as she sat on D's shoulder. 'My my, I've never heard it this quiet before. She must have gotten to the both of you.' Her small furry shoulders began shaking as she laughed in her mind, 'Heh heh...Hahahahahahaha!!!'
'I was just being truthful. All I'm saying is that people tend to blame their upbringing or fate. I'm sure those things play a part in how you turn out, but who you are is up to you. That's all.' Chiru sighed and looked over to Victor and Vincent. It looked like they would be heading out soon.

"I don't really bet. But we'll see what happens. Science is never certain. It's really all just a bunch of theories. We also can't test it until they get rid of the chaos eaters. I was planning on testing it on the mass public. The more you test out the serum, the further along you can get. But you'll be my starting point if you don't mind Lilly." He glanced through the microscope once again. He turned away and began fidling with the blood and different vials of liquid.

The Seraphim growled lightly as she noticed the blade wasn't doing much damage. This was going to be frustrating and difficult. She would have to come up with something else, but being an agent of the light, there wasn't much else she could do. She simply continued fighting against them, keeping them as far away from her as possible while still keeping their attention.

Its easy for the both of you to say that. Neither of you are part of a dying race, that the world fears down to the very marrow of their bones. People would much rather deal with barbaroi or wereanimals then even think of chit chatting with a vampire, let alone except them and let them try to change. Meyerling knew that, even though he tried to change what he was in the end, he and his mortal love ended up dead. All just because of the blood that flowed through his veins. D stated coldly to them.
Besides were doing good now arent we? Trying to keep the world from being destroyed. Restoring the earth to humanity. But in the end it still leaves the Nobility with the same fate as before. We'll fade into the shadows over time and be no more. Humanity will return to its former self and we'll be nothing but a story to tell bad children to get them to straighten out.

We can never live in harmony with them. We were born monsters, we'll die as them. The sooner you come to realize just what you are child, the quicker you will come to that decision yourself. Try and change who you are all you want.. but you wont be able to put on that mask forever. My son tried that and eventually he changed as well. You can only see so many people come and go in your lifetime before your heart is destroyed, and your blood gets the better of you. Alucard hissed.

'I think you're both being stupid. You're all so pessemistic. It's easy to turn and point the finger to others, and in my opinion you vampires are no different than humans. You're just higher up on the food chain. Some humans will accept vampires, others will not. That's how life is. If we all got along we'd be in heaven wouldn't we?'
Luna's ears twitched a little, 'Or maybe that would be hell. But that would only be for those of us with the name of Alucard.' The small feline snickered again.
'No, he's right. Humans and vampires can't get along and I can see why. Aside from your kin, every vampire I've seen has been nothing but an a** who thinks he can control whatever he or she wants. It's your attitude that makes people fear you.' Chiru continued looking straight ahead.
'Why else would Charlie be trying to reverse the effects of vampyrism?'
'You're really stupid you know that right?' Luna looked over at the girl. 'I think he's doing it for the people who didn't have a choice in the matter. Even if he does make a cure, it'll act like the antivenom for snakes. It will only work once.'
'How do you know?'
'Because none of us here are hopeful idiots who rely on God or some superior force to lead us. Even if these guys have their faults, they make their own desicions.'
Chiru just turned her head away. This was going to be a long trip.

D unsheathed his sword, as he thought about something Luna had said. Theyd all be in heaven if theyd all just get along? His fingers ran along the blade in thought. We're murderers.. killers dont end up in heaven. D stated as the tip of his sword pointed to the ground. Its a flaw in our blood.. our DNA. The need to feed automatically turns us into killers.. no matter what we try to do. Our fate is to fade into the shadows once again. There is no other path. D stated sadly before he sheathed his sword.
