"Hey, hey, shhhh," she whispered softly as she moved over next to him. She wrapped an arm around her back and one around her chest and locked her hands. "Hey, it's alright," she said quietly. She leaned her head agaisnt his shoulder she could feel his pain. It was rolling of him in waves. She didn't move away the giddy feeling dieing down from the blood. "Let's move on to the next thing that happened."
She continued to hold onto him pushing her own feelings of hurt, betrayal, self loathing agony, and that stupid little word, deep down inside her, they didn't matter right now.

Shadow composed himself. "Rgiht... the Red Duke came next. An old enemy, I killed his father during the clan wars. He was part of the Blood Dragon clan. Master swords men and masters of war. They are difficult to kill but we managed it. I couldn't have cared less at those times. I had lost my wife and had gained a student, who is sitting in the dinning room right now. Anyway, the Duke came to finish me off but failed. Aurora and Vickilyn helped me beat them back. In the end I had killed him and I drained him of every last drop of his blood. Then Auoroa's brother apeared. He was causing trouble for Aurora but she was strong and Killed him there and then. Such a weak being he was." Shadow paused again and finished his drink, placing the glass on the ground.

"Ah yes..." Abel muttered as he picked up his glass of blood and took a delicate sip. " I remember that room" he chuckled downing the rest of the blood in a gulp or two. "so is there anyone new staying here since I left? or is it the same people?" Abel asked shrugging off his green- black over coat. It had been cold where he had come from and that had kept him plenty warm.

Shadow looked at the glass. "I can't take this. You need to feed more than I do. Take it and finish it, you'll need your strength for what will be comming out way but I'll get to that in a minute." He placed the glass down only to light up a cig instead. "Right after the Red Duke was when I was attacked by a stray ghoul. I got pritty beat up by it and so did Aurora. I managed to heal her but I couldn't completly heal myself. I ended up leaving for a while and returned with my student.... or did Vickilyn find that tablet first... I can't remember what happened first but I'll tell you about the tablet. It has the ability to make you more human. It gives you a heart beat and makes you imune to sunlight. that is as much as I know about it. When we got back down from the roof after watching the sun rise my old gaurd attacked me. Setroth couldn't stand what I had become so he tried to kill me. I destroyed him there and then. I still haven't forgiven myself for that." shadow let out a heavy sigh as he finished and took a long draw from his cig.

Shadow sighed again and started to drink. "Well through out all of this I got married at some point and had a baby girl. She is 6 years old now, my little Alexia." he said with a smile before remembering the difficult terms of his last meeting with his wife. "Thats all I have to say about that really. Well not so long ago I started to gather tomes of truly anchient magic. The books spoke of a way to control a transformation that would help me out in the comming wars. Lilith is growing stronger and is heading on a colision course with me right now. I have managed to gather the remnants of the old clans together. We will fight to the last against her." Shadow paused wondering if he really should tell her about his new afliction.
