I think they want to make sure the best competitor progresses, based on all the factors they have to consider while judging. If they favored brawler types so much, and they judged all of our submitted profiles, I severely doubt a good third of the characters that got in would be here, especially not any magical or mage class characters. Look at Rikei(sp?)! He's a freakin' glass cannon. He got it in, and I honestly expect he'll advance at least a couple of times. I don't really think it's a desire to make you fail, Noire. Again, you're victimizing yourself. Stop it.
Instead of playing the "woe-is-me" card, why not try to have a little bit of a positive outlook?
When they judge, I'm sure they'll judge based off the material presented to them. So, as long as you feel you did your best with what you presented to them you really have no reason to be complaining. They're judges. They make calls based off of the material and arguements that
you present to them.
So, if you can't back up your arguements, or you're not confident in your presented material, that's your fault, and no reason to be victimizing yourself and blaming everyone else for your shortcomings. So, simply put:
STOP IT.
