Astarte's hand twitched the quickly went to her forehead. She groaned and opened one eye. She saw Aithne and looked to Jack.

"I see..." she replied quietly. Fair enough. He had a girlfriend. She could easily respect that. "I think I should go now. It was nice talking to you Jack. I hope to see you around." She smiled, walking over and grabbing her trenchcoat from the chair she had been sitting at, and pulling it on with a swish as she walked to the door, opening it, and leaving.

Jack turned his head to Aithne as she walked out the door. He had a rather displeased look on his face. Not displeased with her, but rather what he said. He couldn't but feel that what he said hurt her. He groaned quietly.
"Dammit... smooth."
"Someone I met down at the bar... she was more or less interested about me... the whole damphir thing... and she helped me out earlier as well."
