Enki keeps her body firmly against his as he breathes deeply into the passionate, love-filled kiss. Each moment seems to drag on into eternity and Enki adores each and every bit of it, hoping it will never end. Alas, as all good things do, it does end as he listens to the heavenly choir that is her voice. Eyes wide, lips pursed together, tears forming, Asherah was certainly caught off guard. She was speechless. There was only one answer she could think of.
Asherah nodded meekly, the tears beginning to spill out of her eyes.

A soft smile graces Enki lips as he leans in and very gently kisses the tears from her cheek before pulling her close to him for a loving, passionate kiss. His arms wrap tighter around his petite lover, never wanting to release her. He then gently lifts her up and spins her slowly in the air, gazing deeply into her eyes as his hair and flowing clothing spins slowly around the two of them.

Asherah laughed and held on tight as Enki spun her about. But what was this?
"PFFFFTTT!!! AROO!!! PFFFTTT!!!"
Zooming through the air at breakneck speeds (or at least that what it felt like to him) came Pipee to see if his dearest Asherah was alright. As he reached the spinning couple, Pipee stopped and quickly yipped for their attention. Was this the guy that Ash had talked about before?
"Pfft!"
"Oh! Pipee." Asherah's hands gently pressed on Enki's chest so that she could pet her little pipe fox. "Pipee, this is Enki, Love, this is Pipee, he's been keeping me company. He's a good boy."

Enki laughs and looks down at the elongated little creature, reaching his hand out to let it inspect him. "Thank you, Pipee, for taking care of my belovéd while I was away. I see you did a good job and I am eternally gratefully to you."

Pipee tilted his head to either side before moving towards Enki's hand. He was cautious of men, he was always around women. With a gently lick, Pipee floated clumsily to the top of his head and made himself a nest.
"Hehe... He likes you..." Asherah looked back up at her lover and held out her hand. "Come, let's walk. Tell me where you've been to, I want to hear all about it...."
Asherah giggled as her fingers interlaced with his, it felt nice.

He smiles softly as the small creature curls up atop his head as his hand gently seeks out and finds that of his fiancé, his fingers interlacing with hers and holding it close to his own flesh. As they walk, a small spout of water forms around their hands, swirling and locking between their fingers and palms, acting like a string tying them together. His eyes begin glowing a bit as the sash around his waist flits about a bit in the air before lightly wrapping around Asherah's waist, the silk-like frabric lightly holding onto her in a protective manner as they walk.
"Shortly before Heaven or Hell ended, something started to feel strange and I wasn't exactly sure what it was. Not long after that, I was... 'called home.'" He looks off toward the ocean for a moment, seeming to be lost in his own memories before continuing, "That's not exactly a call I can ignore, so I found myself going out to sea. I'm not sure why, but I took a boat, which is slightly odd since I don't exactly need to do such a thing. Deep into barely charted waters, a whirlpool formed and sucked my small boat down deep into the Dürem Ocean..." He then stops as he looks around cautiously and shakes his head a bit. "Let me just say some things had to be taken care of... I'll tell you the rest later, my belovéd..."

A small giggle escaped her, as she shook her head.
"That sounds awfully clíche hunny, you sure you aren't see'n other women?"
Since it had been a while since she had last seen Enki, she really didn't know what to say, it was like she reverted back to how she was when they first met.
"Well, things been boring here, I mean... Not boring, I've made new friends, and I found Pipee here."
His tail wagged a bit.
"I have my own team for Heaven or Hell, so that's going to be nice."
She was at a loss for a good topic for a conversation, as always.

Enki just snickers softly, holding his belovéd closer to him, leaning over to press a small kiss to the top of her head. "You're the captain of a team? Wow, darling. You've really become a fan favorite after last years Heaven or Hell, haven't you?"

It was a fairly pleasant Day in Latent, the sun shining brightly as Stephen Lasanti wandered through the streets. Or should I say, above them, as the man was hopping from rooftop to roof top a la free running or parkour. Anyone who looked up would see a flash of blond and red traversing the city above, leaping gracefully like a cat. After a bit he stopped, took a moment to catch his breath, then made a nice little perch on top of a large ramen stand.
The streets were bustling with the familiar organized chaos that made the place what it was. He was alone for a change of pace, not being followed around by a certain little girl, but then again, that allowed for the freedom of this trip. This was purely for pleasure, no errands to run or the like. Just a survey of his hometown for the sheer hell of it.
The smells and sounds of the stand below him came up, making him smile and ponder whether or not he should hop down and get a bowl for himself. All that running and jumping creates quite the appetite, after all.

Among the crowd waiting at the ramen stand was Katie. She had yet to see Stephen. The crowd was rather large, people pushing every which way trying to get in line for some ramen.
Her hands were crossed across her chest. There was one good thing about being her stature. There wasn't too many people that were trying to get by her and sneak in line. It was all behind her that was happening.
When she got to the front of the line she ordered what she wanted then moved out of the way to let people inside. There were some tables off to the side of the stand. She made her way there to have a seat and eat her bowl of ramen.

Luckily for Stephen, from his vantage point he could point out Katie even easier than normal. After she sat down, he watched her approach a the table, and timed his jump off just perfectly to land right in the seat across from where Katie was about to sit with a cocky grin on his face.
...Or at least that's what he intended to do, but his trajectory was off by a little bit, and thus instead of a graceful landing, the man found himself surfing the chair down into a pratfall with him and the chair crashing to the ground.
After a second he got up and righted the chair, taking a second to dust off his jacket and sit down before speaking.
"Hi."
And thus he sat gracefully as if nothing had happened.
Despite the entire patronage of the stand staring at him.

Katie was about to take a bite of her ramen when low and behold someone came crashing in, quite literally. She nearly stood up when she realized that it was Stephen, which made her laugh.
"Hey, Stephen. You alright there?"
That must have been a rather embarrassing moment, which made her laugh even harder when he sat up and tried to play it off as though it hadn't happened.
"I'm sorry.."
She continued to laugh a moment before she got control of it. After the laugh she would clear her throat.
"I'm so glad you could drop in."
Another laugh.
"Ah..really..sorry. Uh...where's Karin?"
She found that unusual. He always traveled with her.

Stephen scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah, well... I do that, you know?" He smiled back at Katie, then got up to get a bowl of ramen. Upon returning he said "Karin's in school. I'm free for the day."
He began to scarf down the ramen before he took a moment to continue.
"So, what are you doing around here, hm? Don't usually see you outside of the stadium."
He then proceeded to continue to munch away at the noodles.
The man was obviously ravenous, but lots of exercise can do that.

"I bet you do."
Katie would then eat away at her ramen when Stephen left to get his own bowl. By the time he returned hers was practically empty.
"I forgot about school. How is that going for her?"
She shrugged then took another bite of her ramen.
"I make my way out of there from time to time. I don't like to be cooped up in one place for too long. I thought a stroll would be nice."
Pushing her almost empty bowl aside, she leaned an elbow against the table and propped her fist against her chin.
"And you? What are you doing around these parts?"
