Tomo walked in the front door cheerfully, pulling along a sluggish Baizou, who was singing Christmas carols to keep himself awake. "Don't worry, Bai, I'll getcha some hot chocolate to warm you up." Tomo assured him as he went to sit by the fireplace.

((i/kaen just shared an interesting thought...."owls are birds, birds taste good, but how does ghost-owl taste?"....yes, i named one of my brain cells kaen, that way i can justify why things don't go as planned...))
Kaen walked down the stairs, tilting her head when she heard Bai singing. "What are those songs?" she asked, crossing to the bar and sitting on her stool. She grabbed and took a bite out of one of her peaches, watching the catboys.

Tomo watched Jake come downstairs, but perked his ears, hearing the owl. His eyes shot towards the window.
"Baizou, stay here and keep an eye on Jake. I'll be back." He said, slipping his coat back on. He walked out the door and out towards the sound.

The owl twisted his head to 360 degrees and hooted again, the right eye shining pink instead of yellow.
