They giggled as the got dragged along, waving good buy to Fianna.
"We're off to Hawaii!"
"Alloha!"
"We'll wear grass skirts and cocanut bakini's and take pictures, then send them back here!"
"Can I have a pina colada?"
"As long as I get to have a margerita!"
Then together in that wierd in sync thing they did, "VACATION!"
Aella nodded her understanding, and leaned against the cavern wall. She toook out a dagger and bounced it in her palm, feeling it's weight. She took out her second one too, and did the same.
Slowly roundign the corner, She tossed the first blade. As she suspected, it didn't hit the spider, which was about twice as tall as Aella was, but struck against the far wall.
The spider turned towards the sound, and the half-elf maiden lashed out with her other dagger, trying to see if the end she was swiping at held eyes or stinger.

Eliot, being able to see better than Aella wasted no time. She braced herself as she felt Aella preparing to throw her dagger.
Take out the legs. She said to herself. the go for the belly. As soon as Aella Tossed her dagger Elito took off in a Silent Furry, makign no sounds what so ever. She was in her element, and she loved it.
She dove beneath creature, coming out on the other side, Bounced off the wall and neatly onto the spiders back. Telling herself not to dally she took off two legs on the left hand side of the monster with her sharp teeth, ikay spider blood splashing her face as she did so. She then bounded back off to giver her and Aella a moment to collect themselves.
She Hoped Aella had taken care of the stinger...

Aella's dagger did not do much to disable that stinger, and it pierced the ground right at her feet. She shivered...she was risking her life why?
Oh, right.
With two legs gone the spider was lashing out furiously, managed to strick Aella right across the shoulder and chest, knocking her to the caver floor.
She got up, swung her staff two handed at one leg, tripping it but not taking it off of course. She swunge it again like a bat, using wind to pick dirt and debris off the floor and whip around othe creature, flaying at it's hide.

Eliot went after the stinger.
With Debris flying all ariunf her head it was difficult to see, but she darted in and out using her claws to tear at the base of the stinger. She didn't want to use her teeth incase poison should leek out, that wouldn't be to fun for sure.
Her heart was pumping, she felt wonderful. And for a moment it crossed her mind that Roark might enjoy the feeling, her and Aella shoudl take him hunting sometime, she was sure he would love it.
She had attacked the spider several times now and still she had only made dents in the hide around the stinger. Perhaps... someplace softer? Thought Eliot.
The spider was still making quite the fuss, behing able to scuttle about with four legs after all. She hoped Aella didn't destroy the hide with her wind though, the hide was usefull, perhaps the rocks could be used to take of the legs?
Hoping Aella would get the hint she began bounding around the spider, zipping beneath its belly and jumping over and across its back, dodging its pincers and stinger. Keeping it disorented and distracted so that Aella could concentrate.

Malik nodded and got up, and headed inot the other room with Kieran, giving a smile and a pat on Piper's shoulder. before wlaking in there and glaring at the imps before giving his attention to Kieran.
"So..let me guess. I'm mentioning to much about the obvious difference in me and piper?"
And another look at teh imps.
"And you two. you eat anythign else of mine, adn I will gut the both of you."

Aella did indeed get the hint. Problem was it was difficult to pick up rocks of appropriate size with wind. The most she could really get were fist sized ones, and that was drainging alot of her power.
She focused her attention on the legs, the debris flowing in a tight cirlce, knocking at legs.
The thing was screeching now, so Aella was pretty certian that she had taken out it's eyes.

Eliot could see blood running off of the creature, foul smelling blood, but she wasn't entirely sure where it was comign from.
Enough of this Eliot though, she dove in and took out the last leg on the left hand side of the spider. This pretty much imobilized the creature, as it was only able to push itself a bit to the side with is three remainign limbs.
Hopign that they were not atracting any more spiders Eliot dove once more beneath the spider's belly. No tto owrried since the spider could't lift istself anyways Elito flipped onto her back, and tore at it's underbellign wit hher claws.

Kieran chuckled and pat the imps on their heads as they went about thier own ramblings. Then he turned his attention to Malik. "No not at all...someone has to mention something eventually. But I've communded with both of them, I feel them deeper than you do, even Piper. And both...are quite nervous. I just though we'd give them a little alone time together is all..." Considerate Kieran, eh?
They were staring at each other again before Piper ran a hand through her hair and tugged at her collar then stood. "Well...no sense in hiding it from each other...we can both feel it. Perhaps we should talk somewhere more private though." And she gestured to the stairs before taking to them and heading to the room her father used before, mother in tow of her. Once both were in that room she shut and bolted the door. "Something you want to say?"
Fianna watched Piper a moment...before walking up to her, resting her hands on her daughters shoulder. And simply stared at her a moment. Then a pale hand touched to Piper's cheek and ran through he hair, touching to her short ear. Yes, Fianna had noticed that too. Fianna smiled.
Okay, she was being hugged now...and mother was...trying not to cry. "Don't cry...I'm safe. I always have been. I know I upset you when I left...and that I made father lie to you...jsut...I wasn't happy...I didn't know what else to do. I apologize for that. But...I'm happy now and I'm alright." A look at her mother as she pulled back. Uh oh, what was that look?
"No you're not..."

"So. in the meantime...anything you want? I'm going to have some dwarven ale. I could use it to calm my nerves. I feel like I'm sitting on a powderkeg just waiting for that right match to set it off."
He went and got a glass and poured himself some of the drink, adn got another glass to offer Kieran.
"So what did you feel? anything to give a guess at what's going to happen when those two are left alone?"

The two imps watched Malik come over with the ale with hungry eyes. Ale...
The loked at each other, not need words.

Jell smacked his lis and tried to be quiet about it. In the eman time, Jaun was slipping out of sight, Jell in quick prusuit.
Aella, took out her sword, and well she hadn't had any schooling with the thing, but she understood the fact that it was a big a** knife. Dodging claws, she thrust it deep into the soft underbelly of the giant spider. Hot, green blood surted voer everything, filling the cavern with a dank, decaying smell. Aella nearly gagged.
She grabbed Eliot's tail and pulled her away while the arachnid started it's death throws.

"Try anything once I always say, of course I'll join you in a drink." Ah, so Malik was indeed nervous as well...good show at hiding it. And of course he took that offered glass....one would think Kieran the type to get himself into all sorts of trouble with his attitude. Certinally not naive but he certainally appeared that way sometimes. A sip at his drink a moment before considering his words. "Worry, anxiety...Piper trying to keep both of us from feeling it, Fianna trying to keep Piper from feeling it. I just get to drown in it all. As far as I see...this can go one of two ways. Pleasant or not so pleasant. They share a temper...and if something it taken in the wrong way when said...well you've been with Pip for twenty years, I think you know where I'm going with that."
Piper blinked. She wasn't? Last time she checked she was alright... "What do you mean no I'm not?" Oh god...there was that cold feeling of dread kicking in. Didn't help that they could feel what each other were feeling. She watched Fianna search for words. Oh...was that it? A sigh and Piper pinched the bridge of her nose, closing her eyes and then rubbed at her temples. "Say it...whatever it is...just say it..."
"Have you lost your mind Donquesse?" She couldn't help it...there were just so many questions, so many answers that she didn't have and couldn't fathom. A lot of it made no sense to her at all. "I just...can't see what you're seeing in him. Did you think you could change him? I don't understand what would push you to him...did you feel that broken from your own people? And why didn't you just come home? You think they would shun you? You could come back now and no one would dare think different of you..."
She tensed slightly...they were going to have to do it this way were they? Fine...if mother wanted to take the hard road, Piper would follow. "Yes mother...I have lost my mind, is that what you want to hear? And no...I've never thought I could change Malik, and I've never really tried to...and it's not what I see in him, it's what he sees in me. He sees Piper. He doesn't see a princess, he doesn't see a bridge, all he sees is me." A frown from her. "Sometimes I think that you never saw me...are you even looking at me now? What do you see anyway when you do look at me?" Yes she was taking shots. "And I will not come home...this is where I belong, and with Malik. I don't want to go to Andal and just be accepted because I'm your daughter and by your decree no one can think badly about me...it's not the life I want."
And that only frustrated her. "I always saw you and I see you now. Seeing and understanding are too different to comapre. You do things that I can't figure out Donquesse...and you never give me a straight answer, you never exlain what you do. You merely state them and then expect everyone to take your excuses as you skip off to follow whatever you fancy." Fianna crossed her arms and shook her head...of course it was coming to fighting. They had always fought even when Piper was young. "And does he even truly love you? You're not even half his age, you're surface born," a point at Piper's collar, "and I know about that too. A collar. What he loves you so much that he collars you so you stay?"
"Stop calling me that...my name is Piper. And why do you need my answers? Can't you just take the explainations? It wouldn't kill you..." Though now she glared, her temper rising with her mother's...and she batted Fianna's pointing finger away. "It's not what you think it is! It's a collar in the simpilest definition of it but not in it's use. And who cares about his age, we're elves...and you're barely half of father's age! Oh and don't try to tell me he's drow because you're guilty of that too Araukaquesse! You were never supposed to be with Kieran and you are!" Yeah, take that. She may of not understood that when she was younger, but she understood it all so well now.
Kierans' hold on his glass tightened the slighest bit...but his expression didn't betray him as he felt things shifting from them both. Where once was a worry and anxiousness was now rising tempers, a bit of confusion, and also disbelief coming from them both. Another drink from his glass, looking at it a bit and then a grin to Malik. "Strong stuff." Damn, they were getting into it...A wary look at also quiet imps. Scary quiet.

Malik dropped the liquid down his throat, and kept one hand on the bottle, filling his back up and noting the tightening of Kieran's hand.
"Things are going unpleasent, aren't they. want some more?"
Another glass fileld for Kieran. and a moment to thinka buot the imps and the implications of thier sudden quietness.
"Adn if you two little rodents think your getting my ale your out of your little minds. this is not for you."
then bank to Kieran.
"How bad is it getting?"
Onyx smirked lightly at Zahara.
"We'll see what we'll see. want somethign else to eat? food pretty good here. and Malik keeps a large variety for any potential tastes of guests. like me and moon are more partial to raw meats than cooked, but this stuff is good."

She used the palms of her hands to lift herself up to be seated on the counter and shook her head. "No thanks, no appetite anymore." She dangled her legs, not really caring that her skirt was a bit too low to do that. Everythign was covered and she didn't really care what they thought of her. Sex was used to control a male. And sometimes if a Drow female found a male she liked she'd marry him or just use him as a lover for as long as he appealed to her. She wondered briefly why Piper's parents were visiting and she withdrew her dagger and began to play idly with it her boredom showing. "I don't want you spying on me anymore." Not a request, an order.

"Hm?" Kieran shook his head in that motion of clearing it...kinda having trouble concentrating a bit. He always did when it came to thier spats with each other. But his look filtered to Malik, still calm and collected as ever. "Well...you have to expect some unpleasantness...they always have clased on things. Used to fight like cats and dogs when she was little. Fianna has her ways, Pip her's and well...you know how it goes." He was kinda lying, kinda telling the truth. Which lead to a drink from his newly filled glass. "Not...too bad." Said the elf who though drow trying to kill him wasn't 'too bad'.
Touche'. Piper knew her argument that was for sure. And when it came to arguing...Fianna never could do it long. "It's not the same, you know it's not the same. Your father is at least surface born Piper!"
"It is the same! You just won't admit that it is! And you won't even give Malik a chance! I know how you work, you'll play polite and you'll be nice and smile but you won't seriously try! Have you even looked at him once in the eyes mother?! No you haven't!"
"I lost you once and now some drow wants to keep you down here so that now that I know you're alive I'll never see you again? You think you could see my concern!"
"He's not keeping me down here! I want to be down here! Why won't you accept that! And you could see me anytime you want but you're too hung up on yourself to come and visit down here!" She wanted to hurt feelings...fine Piper would hurt them. Hurt them so deep her mother would finally understand what she felt about things not being as she thought they should. "And you know what, since you can't even do that you'll miss out on everything. You'll miss me, our wedding...even your granchild when it comes along!" She threw up her hands. "I'm done! I owe you no answers for you are not willing to even take the ones that I do offer!" Throwing open the door lock and door in turn, she made her way to her own room...then came back out and walked downstairs to Kieran and Malik. Malvolence was thrown on the table next to Malik and she left the room without so much as a look to them. She was done. Doors slamming was her only form of communication to anyone as she walked outside into the darkness of the Underdark. Where was she going? Oh she didn't know...just out of the place...
Fianna, punched the nearby wall, and slammed the door shut. Done was she? Well then she was done too for the time being. Answers, justified answers were all she wanted from Piper. Piper had never given them, never and she was always running from things, just as she was running now. Fianna just wanted her to stop and look at what she was doing for once before deciding it was what she wanted to do.
Kieran blinked...and looked at Malvolence, then to Malik and then to the doorway where his daughter had been but a few seconds ago. His bond tugged in two directions, that of his lover and that of his daughter. With a sigh he shook his head and sat his glass down. Well maybe now that they had that out of thier system they could work something out...even a truce would be good. Another look at Malik, downing what was left in his glass. "Could of gone better..."

Zahara listened and heard what sounded like muted yelling. Seemed the happy reunion had just gone sour. She glared at Onyx, "No more spying." And then she slipped out of the kitchen, and following the sound, watchede with interest as Piper flew out of some room and headed out. She watched and then withotu even thinking abotu it headed otu after her. She passed the room Piper had come out of and saw Malik and PIper's father. Rolling her eyes and shking her head she hurried after the elf. She walked out and called out, "Piper?"
