Kaguya shook her head "It is time, I will open the path" She pulled a device out from her cleavage, and pressed a button. Instantly, everyone in the room was now standing in the small alcove at the base of the tower. From within, it looked as if the entire arena and the tower were floating in an endless expanse of white "This is the waiting area of the arena. and as you can see, this entire arena is more or less in a dimension of its own. Everyone who is not participating, should go to the stands." She turned as Agamemnon, Oberon, Dracgoon, Shinji and Kyros appeared "I see all of the contenders have finally arrived. Well then, let us get this over with."

Patwinka nodded, and led Tony and the others out the waiting area, up the steps to the veiwing point.
Honey smiled at Kyosuke, and clasped his hands "Remember, you have the power of love, as well as the power of evil, within you. Do your best!" She gave him a peck on the cheek before turning and joining the others.
Zangonya groaned and turned to Tony "I don't know, this just seems kinda boring having to watch. Now I wish I had brought some twinkies or something to throw at them while they fight"
Octavius sent her a dirty look "Ah, shut yer piehole, tranny! We have to play our parts as well it seems. Though now I wonder, what exactly we are here for iof not to participate."

Xiaedessa turned to Haruko and Hikaru "This tournament, there is something strange about it. This wholearea has a weird feeling. I cannot place it, but it is almost as if it has an aura, as if it is a being of it's own. And yet, that feeling, is also strangeley familiar." She smiled and shook her head "I guess we shouldn't worry. I will fight, and I will protect you both, and if I must, I will invoke the power of the Pillar of Reason."

The gates opened to the arena, and a black aura stood where the gates were. Doctor Io appeared at the head of the stands "I guess we were correct in our research. The path to Eternity will be opened from this place, when it is all over, we shall see what occurs. Who will be victorious, and who will be defeated? I myself cannot say, but know this you who call yourselves 'denizens of good': no being, neither you nor us,are truly good nor evil, without the uphold of the balance between them, existence is not possible. Will the balance be upheld, or will it be ripped asunder and this existence along with it? We shall see. Begin!" The aura began to glow brightly, and Agamemnon approached Xiaedessa's group "Haruko, we will fight now." He turned to Xiaedessa "I am sorry for before, I hope one day you can find it in your heart to forgive the evils of a forlorn father. Goodbye, now" He bowed, then turned and stepped through the aura into the field. The aura lost half of it's glow. He went and stood and stood a good thirty feet away, and bore his claws

Xiaedessa turned to Haruko and embraced him, planting a kiss upon his forehead "Please, do not begrudge him, I see great despair, and purity, in his heart. Just get it over with, as quickly as possible. You have my love, and I know you will not lose"

"Ah, quit yer lovey-doveyhappin" Guraha stroked his beard, then pointed to Kyosuke "Konno, *snort*I will show you what happens to turncoats like you! You and I will go ne..."
"Sorry, I must take his place. He will end up getting killed in his stupidity, and I won't allow that to happen." She turned to Tengu "You there, sexy tranny boy, you and I have something in common, don't we? So let us test it, to see who is the better man, or for that matter, woman!" She had a confident look on her face "I am sure you will be a good opponent"

Guraha shot Zangonya an irritable look "What the...you'll do what!?"
Zangonya shook her head "My dear Guraha, you and I have been best friends since we were children, and I can read you like a book. You need to be true to yourself, you don't want to fight in this battle, I know you, you have been showing off a great deal lately, and I think it may have something to do" She grinned "With a certain girl that has plagued your mind lately" She turned to Tengu "I daresay you are most likely correct, I do not know if I can come up to par with your skill, but, I will give it my all, and whether or not I win, I will have no regrets" She went and stepped through the portal. It lost more of it's glow, and she appeared on the northside area. Magical walls had risen up to separate the arena into four parts.
Guraha shook his head "Damnit, what the hell does that dude hope to accomplish!?" He turned and went up the stairs, back to the stands
Xiaedessa turned to Kyosuke with a frown "While I always considered you a friend, I cannot say I agree with your defecting. However, I will not hold it against you, as it seems more and more lately, that there is more to the Black star Nation than meets the eye. You motives are yours, and whether or not we are friend or foe, I trust your reasons. Now, I challenge you, Kyosuke Konno, let us put our swords to the test, and we shall see if you have what it takes to ascend and become a God of Death!" She smiled "And afterward, the loser has to treat the winner to the Body & Mind Cafe!" She turned and entered the portal, appearing on the southern end of the arena. Walls rose up once more, separating her from the rest.
Kaguya turned to Tengu "My love, I must agree with her, it seems more and more, the true motives of the Nation become everclear, our enemies don't seem to hate us so much anymore. Either way, I care not, as long as I have you by my side, my only careis to make you happy" She kissed him tenderly"Do enjoy your fight, dear" She turned to Hikaru and bowed "Well, chickie, I guess that leave you and me. So let us begin this" She stepped through the portal, which turned white and glowed brightly once more.

Kaguya bowed to Hikaru "Ready chickie?" Her arms transformed into two part lances of wood. "I hope you are!"

Agamemon shifted his position, charging forward "Haruko Tsubo, show me that vengeance you so lust for! I wish to see with my own eyes the true corruption of Citadel's Purest Force of Good!"

Xiaedessa summoned her sword, and holding it steady, she stood down Kyosuke

Zangonya cocked her guns, and rushed Tengu, both barrels aimed for his head

Zangonya fired her guns, knowing he would dodge them, thenchanged her direction, whipping her guns around, two long knives sprouting from the butt of the handle "Don't underestimate me, or you will be cut down!" She went for a spinning slash

Xiaedessa struggled agoainst the blade of Kyosuke, even though hers was at least five times the size of his "You're still as powerful as ever, I see, so I am relieved. If we are to be successful, ngh, then neither of us must die!"She pushed him back fiercely, then sidestepped his following slash. She leaped back, swinging her sword around toward him
