Jedi Sasquatch  I don't think people like me very much when I'm myself. If they don't like you for you, then they're not going to be good friends anyways.

Well that's the thing. I don't just feel awkward around girls, I feel awkward around everyone except like my best friends. Don't know why.

If that's the case then I don't know how to change it. I've tried to tell myself that I'm fine the way I am, but I just sort of freak out when I'm around people I don't know. It's a subconscious thing.

Jedi Sasquatch Well that's the thing. I don't just feel awkward around girls, I feel awkward around everyone except like my best friends. Don't know why. I feel awkward around pretty much everyone too. I'm pretty sure I have social anxiety or somethin' on a completely unrelated note: I totally forgot I had a really random dream last night. Something about some evil guy kid-napping people and magic gem-thingies. And a pedestal the gems went into but didn't work the way it should. And something about me needing something but not being able to get it without the bad guy seeing me, so I asked Draco Malfoy if he could make it hover over to me. Then later I saw a blond girl from behind and accidentally called her Draco. Then there was something about having to hide a bunch of random stuff from the bad guy in a closet. It really made no sense what-so-ever.

I'm just a natural idiot and as such is very attracted to people in general. Like a piece of metal to a super magnet.
Jedi what you should do is stop thinking when you do things, because alot of times we are all guilty of over thinking things, just go out and act on impulse. That way you'll do one of two things:
1. Seclude yourself form social activity
or
2. Join in on the fun and become a little bit more loved with every go at it.
If you do number 2 then you're fine. But if you keep doing number 1, then you need to train your relexes to solve said problem, worked for me.

I actually like that about myself too. I guess I just need to learn to be more honest around others in real life. That's a problem I have, I tend to sugar coat everything because I feel like I'm under pressure when I'm in person.
