Amnity petted Vosa on the head as she headed into the living room and toward the kitchen in nothing more then one of Zahzi's large black shirts and shorts. "What do you want for dinner boy? Beef stew?" Vosa barked, and Amnity smiled. "Beef stew it is then..."

Kimi looked in some cabinets and took out a bag of pasta and some pasta sauce. "Let's just have some simple spaghetti." She searched around for a pot.

Sala walked over to another cabinet and pulled out a pan. "That's fine with me." He filled the pot with water and put it on the stove. Looking outside, he could see it was really getting nasty outside. He wasn't quite ready to call it a blizzard, but it wouldn't have been too much of an understatement. "It sure is snowing hard outside, isn't it? I'm glad we got inside when we did."
