*Kal smiles in embarassment.*

Evil of all shapes and varying degrees of ugly are but distractions and yet I am laid low by a pretty face. Nay, not simply a pretty face but one that mirrors my struggle and isolation.

So Kara, what is your favourite movie?

Ooooh I absolutely adore The Matrix. The symbolism is amazing, as well as the revolutionary cinematography. 3nodding You?

I do enjoyed the franchise. To me it is the class struggle (between the monolithic system of controls in a fascist totalitarian state and the yearning for utopian socialism of the downtrodden proletariat) enacted as a populist blood opera. However as of late I find myself prefering The Incredibles. The fanciful portrayal of the daily struggle of the superhero has brought me much joy.

So why did it all of a sudden occur to you that you wanted to fly here with me?

Kara In-Ze
So why did it all of a sudden occur to you that you wanted to fly here with me?

Because it is very difficult and rarely advisable to pass up the opportunity for fresh ground coffee in an exotic country with a young woman unlike any other I have ever met.

*blushes furiously and looks down at her coffee suddenly* Oh... wow... well surely being a superhero and all you've met plenty of fine young women... redface

I am reminded by your words of the Beach Boys song "California Girls", however if you would allow me to make a minor change to the lyrics:

*Kal sings softly to Kara in a deep baritone*

Well east coast girls are hip
I really dig those styles they wear
And the southern girls with the way they talk
They knock me out when I’m down there

The mid-west farmer’s daughters really make you feel alright
And the northern girls with the way they kiss
They keep their boyfriends warm at night

I wish they all could be Krypton
I wish they all could be Krypton
I wish they all could be Krypton girls

The west coast has the sunshine
And the girls all get so tanned
I dig a french bikini on hawaii island
Dolls by a palm tree in the sand

I been all around this great big world
And I seen all kinds of girls
Yeah, but I couldn’t wait to get back in the states
Back to the cutest girls in the world

I wish they all could be Krypton
I wish they all could be Krypton
I wish they all could be Krypton girls

I wish they all could be Krypton
(girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be Krypton
(girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be Krypton
(girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)
I wish they all could be Krypton
(girls, girls, girls yeah I dig the)

*Kara glances around to see if anyone is watching and sure enough they have the attention of the entire Starbuck's staff as well as an elderly couple scowling at Kal for disturbing their quiet coffee break. Kara leans forward to Kal and whispers in his ear*

It's lovely, just lovely. Thank you for the song. Just beware the peasants... they might have torches. xd heart

I may be socialist Ms. In-Ze, but I was brought up with a hint of modesty. I must apologize if I have offended you. sweatdrop

At the risk of sounding trite, I live my life at the speed of light and sometimes beyond. I would appreciate spending time with a woman who can keep up.
