Would be nice ot see the old cathedral light up once more and briming with life." he said. Shadow did miss the sight of the large building filled with people, it always warmed his heart to see it so. "You will get the chance to prove yourself but remember you don't need to be a hero. I still have alot to teach you, so much about so many things. Some good, some bad and some down right troubling... but we leave that for later. Once your honey moon is over I will teach you and then you will age a few hundred years." Shadow said, he joked only slightly. Alot of what he said was very serious business. "I will wear the apropreate attire for this, don't you worry, as will Sajuuk." he smiled before turning his attention to Rainiks little speach. "I have no idea how I done it, my memory for such things has faded somewhat. I can only try and see what i can do, perhaps try a ritual to remove it but little more." He whispered over, making no real effort to conceal it. The others knew Shadow had business that wa snot for everyones ears.

"You are right to beleive that. Women are far more dangerous than swords or magic." Shadow chuckled slightly. "Being a hero is nothing, your duty is not to be a hero but to survive. You can fight in great battles but your duty will be to live. Soldiers will die in the hundreds for glory and hero status but that will not be your fate and remember that, you are far more important than that now. That is what I meant. The legends surrounding me only brought me hassle in life but we can go itno all of that later." Said Shadow. he had so much to tell Marcus in possible only a short time. The boy would have to meet what was before him now and be ready for it when the time came. He worried for his son, being thrown into the horrible world of politics but Shadow would protect himf romit for as long as he possibly could. Marcus still deserved to be young for a little while longer. "Kashans clan will be unable to attend, trust em ont hat one. Kashan and I discussed at great length the situation of his arrival. he was dethroned by his own because he stood against the greater threat while they blindly followed those that would enslave them once again. There may still remain those loyal to him but they will not surface right now, it is too dangerous for that. It is a shame indeed but little can be done about it." he said. it was a shame but the world was crule especially when dealign with such things. Shadow then chuckled, "Marcus, do not worry about your mother and I, we will be fine. It is an important event, we will be there and be respectable citisens while we are there, just you wait and see." Shadow said before removing his sword belt and holding it out for Marcus, "Take this before i forget, consider it an early wedding gift. It shall do you more good than it does me these days. "Exactly, they will need a leader when the dust settles, not a warrior so much. I am much more suited to leading in war but in peace time not so much. When it is all over and it is time to rebuild, I may very well pass the torch over to you, too look after everyone but before that time comes I will need to give you more responsibility here to help you cope... Said Shadow. It was time for Marcus to develope his skills in management as well as diplomacy and much more. This is similar to the old ways of giving the son command of the guards to gain experiance. He knew Marcus woudl do a good job but still, things had to be done properly, never a good idea to throw them into the deep end before they were ready. "Yes, that is the blood drinker. my grandfather forged the blade and used it. He passed it onto my father who used it, who passed it onto me and now i pass it onto you. Drive that into your oponent as a finishing blow and it shall drain them of life blood. It will keep you alive" Said Shadow.

Shadow shook his head, "I am not a great leader, I am a warrior born and bread. I can manage a war time economy and wartime things but not peacetime, we were not meant for that sort of thing. people liek me change the world but it is up to peopel like you to make it better. People like me have no place in the new world, we only know how to destory." He said. Shadow knew what he was talkign about, he experianced it before. he kmnew his limitations and knew when his time would come. "Hey, every so often you need to take a nap... a very long nap, trust me when youget to my age you will understand" He joked lightly. "I know you will still need me aorund, I will always be aorund Marcus. I will hover around, i will advise you when you need me. The concern did show through in his voice. he would always be there for as long as he was able to but after a while he would need to step aside ocmpletly and just let Marcus grow into his own man instead of living int he shadow of his father. "No, I was nto avoiding the question. We talked a little while not so long ago. The way we acted was normal for our situation. at first you are always conflicting but after a while it stops and you convers as normal people, we have reached that point were all the frustraion is out int he open and we can move on as people."

Rainick chuckled slightly and didnt hesitate to answer "i was fighting her, marcus. i would have rather avoided it but i couldnt risk letting her hurt anyone, so if someone had to get hurt i would much rather it be me over any of the others in this manor, they deserve to live there lives, atleast i made it as long as i have." he paused for a moment "normally i tend to leave peoples relations to themselves, but in this case it also involved the safety of others, and i apologize for interfering but i had little choice." he sighed again "yes she does tend to be violent, but not like that, and especially not as she is now." he thought for a moment "well from what i can tell i'd say the manor is safe because of people like yourself, sajuuk and your father here, but i have only been here for a little while now, please enlighten me"

Sanguis smiled as Selena stood up. He walked over to her, and nodded.

I like clothes, kinda like these. smart jackets, good looking but still posh. Just plain white shirts though. Always white. Trousers, black. Again, always."
