Rei was quiet for a moment. She did want to kill him...But she couldent. "No....Have seto do it..." she said softly.

"If you open that door I'll kill you." Mariku said pleasantly. Seto glared, and then shook his head. "Not now... not yet." Seto said, bringing one hand up to his face. "I'd rather have him suffer first." Atem scowled slightly, then shrugged. "I'd.... I want to see Ayira now. Where are the bodies?" Atem waved vaguely. "I could lead you there... Rei, do you want to go?" This would have to be dealt with sooner or later.

Atem sighed and then led the two to the empty room. The three bodies were there, still on the table. It was strange for Seto to see Ayira laying so still. He wanted to shake her, to tell her to wake up. He had to struggle not to cry. Atem cleared his throat. "I'll need to know how you two will want the bodies... taken care of. I can get them mummified if you want, but if you'd rather have them burnt or buried..."

Tearsrolled down rei's cheaks "N-No..." Rei studdered I-I'll be taking bakura...." In rei's mind rei thought it would be proper for bakurato be burryed with the rest of his village.

Seto sighed, going over to Ayira and putting his hand on hers. She was cold. Already. He was supposed to be happy now. They were supposed to have been married. He struggled not to cry, still. "I... I don't know what she wanted... We never really talked about it, you know?"

Atem nodded solemnly, watching as Seto fell utterly silent, looking at Ayira's face. He turned towards Rei. "You're welcome to stay here as long as you want, of course. I swear to you that nothing bad will happen. If you'd rather not stay here, then I'll gladly help you in any way. If you need horses, clothes, food, money..." Atem offered, shrugging slightly. He had been so terrible to Bakura, and this was the only way he could think of making it up to him.

Seto had been failing as a priest. Instead of being freed from the distraction that would have been his wife, he had become even more involved with her, even in death. He had begun to spend even more time in the library than Mahado; reading just about every book there was. He became more and more insane, it would seem, growing frantic as he searched.
He had currently found a private collection of his father's, and spent most of his time in his room, pouring over them. He felt like he was close. These books... they had to lead somewhere.

Nanu laid in her bed her hands resting on her swelled belly. She had just woke up from a nap and was content with just sitting there and resting. It took her a bit to get out of bed anyway. Over the two years nanu and atem had got married. Because she wasa priestess it was better to have her as the queen of egypt.
Rei sat outside her oasis home. Ithad been two years since bakuradied but it still hurt inside. Kek and femi were three now, and curently running around in the sand playing tag. She was thankful for her children. They were the only reason she was living.

Atem had improved as a pharaoh. Seto was there and could help him, but as time passed he strengthened on his own, and soon no longer needed Seto most of the time. Which was just as well, because Seto couldn't be found most of the time. Atem had named Nanu queen of Egypt, and still loved her very much. He was sitting besides her on the bed, reading to her some news from outside Egypt. "The Nubians seem to be forming little rogue bands of resistance. I'll probably be sending troops down there to set them straight..." Seto's eyes widened when he came across a page with a very interesting inscription on the top. He straightened up, reading over the spell. This was the worst book in his father's collection; it was clearly dark magic, and knew that if he was found with it like this he would get in trouble. But there were two gods that he was very familiar with; Osiris and Anubis. The lord of the dead and the guardian of the dead. This might just be it...

Nanu smiled and moved closer to atem resting her head on his shoulder. "Anything else?" She then squeeked jumping slightly "The child kicks hard...." She said. "He should be strong..." nanu called the child a he because that waswhat she was hoping for.
