Gingerd Waynebrizzle If there was ever another third party character added, even if it was just one, it would undeniably be Sonic. After the ties with Sega for the Olympic games, the old rivalry back when Sega was in business, and just the fact that he'd make a good character in general, it would be him before anyone else. Megaman's definitely the second choice, but hey, where's his crossover game with Mario? Oh and wheres the bomberman love? He'd be more likely to be in a Wario Ware game after that gameboy game.

I'd love for there to be Auron from FFX, on account that he's my favorite video game character. Never going to happen but it would be cool. I even know what his special moves could be:
Standard B: Banishing Blade: Fires a magic black projectile. Hold B to fire multiple projectiles.
Up+B: Tornado: Spins around with sword and moves from side-to-side, even in midair. (does not rise much)
Over+B: Shooting Star: Dashes forward and swings his sword.
Down+B: Dragon Fang: Stabs sword into ground and hurts nearby enemies.
Super Smash: Bushido Tornado: Spins around and creates a giant flaming tornado that crosses the stage.
The moves do resemble already existing moves of characters, but I think that this moveset would still make the best sense for Auron if he were to be a character.

Wow, you really put a lot of thought into that, huh? I kinda doubt Auron would be in Brawl though. Realistically, if there even was a FF character, it would be a Moogle or something like that. Auron was just a cast member of one FF game. Also, regarding the Sonic debate, I think it would be nice to see him in the game. Not only would it be one more character to play as, but I like Sonic. He fits well, and I loved Sonic games when I was little. If you don't want Sonic in the game, I don't mind, and I won't get mad at you. But I want Sonic in Brawl.

I'm sick of Sonic fanboys obsessing over him possibly being in Brawl.
Think about it. How would that even work? What the hell would his B moves be? ALL HE'S GOT IS THE FREAKING SPINDASH.

Have you no faith in Sakurai's genius? gonk If all you're worried about is his moves, then you don't have much to worry about, in my opinion. I respect that you don't want him in Brawl, but why are you so passionate about it? Is it really that big of a deal?

No, I don't care about it one way or another. I'm just sick of ignorant n00bs who don't think things like that out.

Exactly....All those characters either had moves before, or had only appeared once or twice, and so they could just make moves up for them.
Sonic has been in several games. In all of them he only had some form of the Spindash. That's it.

I'm saying that Sonic has a reputation built up, and that they'd have to stay with that reputation in creating moves for him, which would be impossible in my eyes.

Captain Geno I'm saying that Sonic has a reputation built up, and that they'd have to stay with that reputation in creating moves for him, which would be impossible in my eyes. In my opinion, I think Nintendo would add more moves to what you consider his "reputation." So, I think it can be done. I'm sure Sega wouldn't mind if Nintendo gave him some new moves that suited him well and made sense. I have a theoretical B moveset made up. It's simple, because in my eyes Sonic doesn't need to be complicated to be fun to play. B- Sonic does a fast but powerful kick (can charge for more damage) Left or right+B- The spindash (Sonic balls up and spins fast) Up+B- Sonic does a triple frontflip jump to fly into the air. Down+B- Sonic spins in the air feet-first to kick the enemy like a drill.
