Felina tutted placing her hands on her hips as she entered the new room "You must have been quite naughty to have been in jail. Shame on you" she scolded him playfully.
Hayate smirked at the thought of being in two places at once "I don't think so" he told Alpha scratching his head. "I take it the fiends will start to get stronger now we are getting towards all the big spell books?" he asked Hebal as he took a torch for himself from the wall.
Satoshi raised her eyebrow at Hayate "Don't be so sure. It is possible to leave bits behind but only if you to go too far. Like trying to go half way around the world when you havent had anything to eat for 4 days is not a good idea"

Oassu giggled hugging Felina "Your calling me naughty? This coming from the girl who disobeyed daddy and ran away?" he smiled "Naughtyness has it's benefits wouldn't you say?"
Zadina sighed "Awwww doom sounds like a fun spell..." he muttered.
Itaka raised an eyebrow "Can you deal with this kinda magic Seph?" he asked "Sounds a little too evil for you, black magic isn't nessecarily evil ya know?" he said.
Mari smiled "Tougher fiends won't be a problem we've had no trouble with the ones encountered so far." she said

Seph laughed poking Itaka on the shoulder "Learning evil spells doesn''t always make you an evil person you know. I just need to learn something even if it is only temporary. Also I did cause that avalanche " she added in a whisper as she continued skimming the book covers.
Alpha smirked "So do you ever get the body parts returned to you if you split like that" he asked curiously.
Hebal dashed a litle way ahead rummaging through one of the book shelves tossing many of the books onto the floor. Eventually she stopped tossing them about and handed one to Zadina "This one has doom on page 61. Feel free to tear the page out."

Felina grinned pulling Oassu closer to her "Thats not being naughty. That is called being rebellious. To be considered naughty officially I have to break the law. Lucky for us that I did rebel rather than misbehave." she whispered softly.
Satoshi shook her head "Not unless you have some kind of regeneration ability that allows you to regrow stuff so unless your lucky one screww up will result in killing you"
Hayate rolled his eyes at Oassu and Felina. He waved his torch around as a bat swooped past his face, eventually hitting the creature "We better not be too loud around here for the bats" he advised in a whisper.

Itaka chuckled "Alright maybe you are a little evil but we love ya for it" he whispered bearing in mind Hayate's warning.
Oassu hugged Felina "Bet theres a naughty girl inside you somewhere but no I'm glad you misbehaved" he said quietly hugging her "Think of all the fun you'd miss out on."
Zadina scanned the piece of paper before whispering the spell. The same avatar appeared again.
What do you wish master? It asked
Zadina bit his lip while adding the page to his book. "These spells are useful albeit scary but thank you miss Hebal"
The Avatar crossed it's arms "
Take your time, its not like 100000 other people are dieing while you talk it moaned.
Zadina's eyes widened "Umm Sorry Mr Avatar please kill that bat up there" he said pointing to the one that disturbed Hayate.
As you wish master it shall be done
The Avatar rasped flying off muttering something about just a bat.
Mari sighed "Why would you want to teleport everywhere anyway? You'd miss out on so much to see that way" she said.

Seph took a step back from the bookshelf "On second thoughts these books all look boring but what about you? Isnt there a little devil buried inside" she whispered back to Itaka as she swiped her torch at a snake that had been slithering accross the shelves "Snakes and bats, how original." she added sarcastically.
"Teleporting is convnient but boring. Airships are wat better" Alpha jumped back nervously at the sight of the snake "I absolutely hate snakes" he grumbled as he set one on fire that was wrapping itself round his leg.
Hebal wagged a finger at Zadina "Now don't you go overusing that spell. It's not that nice and uses up a lot of mp" she informed him giggling at Alpha "cheer up it's only a snake. I love those creatures."

Felina rapidly shook her head letting go of Oassu "Me naughty? Never. I'm a good little girl unless you do something to hurt my friends. Still I would have missed out on a lot of fun." she shuddered as Zadina attempted the doom spell "Could you not use that spell unless it's really needed. It is really creeping me out."
Hayate rolled his eyes af Alpha "Whats the matter? Scared of a little snake." He picked one up off the ground showing it to the demon before tossing it across the room.
"Teleportation is better for fast travel but it's not like I use it all the time. You gotta look around and stuff in my job." Satoshi looked at the fiends with disgust "You pick some lousy pets down here" she told Hebal as she pulled out a shuriken and threw it at a bat.

Itaka sliced through the snake that Hayate threw at Alpha "I've had my dark moments," he confessed to Seph before looking at Hayate "Don't screw around like that the snakes down here are probably poisonous and are trained to attack or did you forget that we are intruders in an evil library?" he said sternly tracing a circle around him with his sword slicing through a few snakes that creeped about.
Zadina nodded "Sorry....I don't think I've ever felt a severe magical strain from low mana though" he sighed before glancing distastefully at the snakes and casting float on everyone.
Oassu giggled at Felina's behaviour "You ain't a little girl anymore" he said happily "But I know your good so don't worry about it" he said summoning a fire dragon to scare away the snakes in front of him.
Mari giggled "You do seem to use it for a lot of needless things though you teleported downstairs earlier!" she said as she slowly revolved upside down in her float bubble.

Seph shrugged then bounced around in her float bubble accidentally hitting the ceiling. "See, nobody is perfect. You could learn yourself an evil little spell if you wanted too. But we know your not all that good at spells" she teased.
Alpha glared at Hayate as tossed the snake over "Don't do that. I have been badly poisoned by a snake before and I don't want it to happen again" he growled as he moved forward in the float bubble.
Hebal frowned as she floated around doing backflips in her bubble "I don't mean to be a total pain but in order to get down a level we need to kill a giant basilisk"

Felina fired a blast of white light at the snakes before becoming covered by the float bubble "That is true. I'm a big girl now who doesn't need her dad to fight all her battles" she replied floating over to Oassu.
Satoshi laughed "Even ninjas get lazy from time to time, besides it can be rather fun teleporting around." she told Mari. She turned away from the others and formed a repulsed expression on her face at the thought of the giant snake.
Hayate rolled his eyes at Alpha "No need to go worrying about poisonous snakes. This lot are all squeezing ones. The basilisk on the other hand could petrify you"

Itaka sighed extending his arm "I got very little magic power" he said as a ball of dark energy unleashed itself from his metallic arm scattering the snakes in front of him "Thats about all I can do right now" he muttered. He glanced up at Seph and reached up "Careful Seph bats on the ceiling remember" he said pulling her down by her leg.
Oassu smiled "Yea you can fight your own and if you need a little help well thats what we're for" he said as he bobbed up next to her and cuddled her.
Zadina smiled "I didn't know you had magical powers Itaka." he said happily before grimacing as a voice echoed It is done master from somewhere behind them.
Itaka shrugged "Its nothing really just a little dark blast that's all"
Mari frowned "You can tell an opponents moves from their feet anyway but....does it work the same for tails?" she pondered as she floated after people. "Petrification doesn't sound like the nicest fate." she sighed.
Oassu smiled "It's not so bad it happened to me once you know?" he told her.

"Awww floating around by the ceiling is fun and I can handle" Seph pouted rubbing her head "Nice spell but you shouldn't quit your day job anytime soon." she added with a weak smile. She continued bouncing along the path being careful not to go too high.
Alpha scratched his head setting fire to a group of bats flying above Satoshi's head "Didn't you have more powerful ones when we were in the abyss?" he asked Itaka thinking back to their fight.
"I've been petrified before too. I had to be to learn that stone gaze attack I used the other day" Hebal told the group as she bounced off after Seph "Didn't you only get encased rather than completely turned to stone Oassu?"

Felina hugged Oassu back and planted a kiss onhis cheek "The basilisk won't be too difficult so long as we don't look at it directly in the eyes. It will be no problem for us" she cheered upon sensing the group weren't feeling to great about the idea of fighting the fiend.
"Don't look at the tails with snakes. You gotta look at the necks to work out their movements." Hayate sighed throwing his torch onto the ground next to all the snakes below "You're forgetting the good points. Felina knows esuna and I know stona so petrification shouldn't be a problem.
"You didn't get smashed while petrified so sure it wouldn't have been so bad" Satoshi pointed out to Oassu while watching Itaka release the energy ball. "Whats with the weird spell?"

Itaka shrugged "Yeah in my advanced form but I ain't sure if I can do that again," he told Alpha. He glanced at Satoshi "Every being has some kinda mana in them according to some religions, just most can't harness it" he shrugged again "I just assumed that was why" he said hovering after Seph.
Oassu smiled at Felina "Yea she's right we've fought much worse than a basilisk before!" he cheered along.
Zadina giggled "I know both esuna and stona so we are all ok as far as thats concerned" he said pushing himself along.
Mari cuddled Sophia as they went along "I might be able to mix us a soft as well should it be needed" she giggled as Sophia tried to stab her with the bottle.

Alpha grinned and patted Itaka on the shoulder "Sure you can. You just aint sure how but it will come back to ya when you get older." he reassured him. "Should impress a few people too" he added glancing over at Seph.
Seph noted Hayate's information then turned around waiting for the others to catch up "Whats the matter you lot. We need to move a little faster" she called impatiently "Also don't you go giving up on that form of yours Itaka when I didn't even get to see you in action.
"The necks usually tell ou if they are going to bite or lunge at you" Hebal nodded in agreement with Hayate "Slow down Seph and pace yourself for the bigger stuff. We just need to go right then left then right again and you shouldn't encourage that behaviour in Sophia" she warned Mari.
