Kiori looked back and forth between the two. "Well, it's not that I don't like cats, it's just that Mistress Jackie has a point, cats do not belong in the kitchen...."

jackie turned to kiori and said "Thank you" as she was turning back to the other elf, she saw the white cat hungrily munching on the food that Akhekhu had made for it. "look," jackie sighed, "i'm sorry i threw the cat into the pots, but it was a reflex, and i probably shouldn't have brought the book into the kitchens, but i didn't have time to run back to my room to put it away. and, like i said, it was fine until my pocket ripped open. i can see that the cat probably smelled all the food drippings on my apron and was probably trying to get to them, and i'm sorry."

Grand enters the kitchen and grab a dough and starts making cookies....
"La-la-la-la-la-la" humming while making cookies....
"Wew! It's been a long time! im glad to be back!"

Kiori smiled. She liked the fact that the argument didn't escalate. "Why don't you go put the cat in your room?" she suggested to Aliyah. "You wanted it, right?"

jackie grabbed an empty, clean pot and put all the scraps of her book inside so she could take it to her room and ask a teacher if they could fix it later. as she passed by, she whispered to kiori, 'thank you for your help.'

*Demerion entered the kitchen and glanced around silently. He was slightly surprised by how many were here. There was a vacant table not too far off so he made his way towards it. His eyes focused on the destination*
Hello....
*Obviously not used to being around so many he quickly grabbed several ingredients and began to make himself useful. Chopping carrorts for a stew*

having taken the scraps of her book back to her room, jackie returned with the pot to the kitchen. she silently observed the newcomer chopping carrots, and wondered what his name was. not wanting to be bothersome, she went back to rolling pie crusts after checking to make sure that there weren't any other creatures beneath her table

*He felt her eyes on him as he worked and lifted his own to glance over. His voice was soft but carried well enough even in the din of the kitchens*

*Taking notice of what she was making he continued to cut the carrots, stopping every so often to place them into a deep pot*

she heard a soft voice say, 'i am demerion' and knew that it was the new house elf. she grinned to herself as she responded in a low voice, 'i'm jackie. welcome to the kitchens"

*Demerion's gaze turned towards the others in the room as he added the carrots and turned to the meat cutting it into small portions. This would be a very hearty stew*

Dai walks into the Giggling Pear. It causes him to remind him of random events, he has no idea why. He just puts the memories away & gets a glass of pumpkin juice. "Hi everyone! ^_^" He says, as he gets a glass & starts looking for the juice.

having finished with the pie crusts, jackie decided that she wanted to make cream puffs and eclairs, she rummaged through the cabinets for the ingredients and started whipping up the dough to make the puff shells

 With the term over, Katie walks into the kitchen wearing her muggle clothing. She waves hello to all of the house elves. "Hello, I'm here to make some cookies? Any suggestions from the house elves?" She asks warmly.

As Grand finishes making snacks she quickly grab some flour, sugar, chocolate and some ingredients to make a Cauldron Cake. "This would be interesting! I wonder how will this turn out..." Grand said excitedly. "Ohh, and Grand would like to suggest to Miss Katie to make a Soft Chocolate Cookies!"
