Rose followed after Brian as he ran to the western side of town, and managed to keep up. When Brian stopped her Persian rushed ahead and got in front of Brian, glaring, as if to say 'You made me run and I'm annoyed now.'
Rose came over and started petting her Persian.

Caleb strolled downstairs, yawning a bit. He became a bit more alert when receptionist called him from the counter. Hearing the message that was left, he thanked the woman before heading outside. He broke out into a jog, making his way down the road towards the train station.
He hopped on the next train to the harbor and waited patiently, tapping his foot as the train made it's way down the hill. Once the train had gone down the hill and the doors opened, he rushed out, careful not to knock anyone over. He broke into a run once again, running through the harbor towards the ranch.

Rose glanced at the card and decided to make a bet too, though she figured she'd lose. She couldn't win though, unless she tried.

Rei sauntered downstairs to the hotel lobby. He smiled at the receptionist who beckoned him over. After reading through the contents, he returned it to the lady and rushed over to the meeting spot.
He met Brian and Rose as they were buying tickets.
"Huh, betting tickets. I dunno, my luck's never that great..." The glint in his eyes revealed his desire to put his poor luck to the test, however. He pulled out 1000 PD and scribbled on the card.

Caleb slowed down to a walk as he saw the front entrance. He hadn't spotted any others from Aqua yet. He spotted a man passing out cards and decided he should get one and fill it out before the race started.
Caleb thanked the man as he took his card and glanced over it.
"Calos?" he muttered. He shrugged and filled out the card.

*I move towards the stands, passing by MooMoo Milk Booths, Miltank Burger Booths, ridiculously gigantic fancy hat booths, all the stuff you find at a derby*
Me: This is a pretty calm day all things considered.

Rei nodded in agreement.
"Somehow, I expected a derby to be more rowdy. Not sure why." His eyes lingered over a large, plumed hat.
"Those hats, though. I don't think I could ever pull fashion like that off." His mouth drooled at the scent of burgers.
"I might get me a bite to eat. Anyone else hungry?"

Rose followed Brian and looked around at all the booths as they headed towards the stands to find seats. Her Persian walked right up beside her, occasionally nuzzling up against her leg affectionately.

Food didn't sound too bad at all at the moment. Caleb looked around through all the food vendors. He noticed a funnel cake stand. Intrigued, he walked over and ordered one.

*As we sit down or grab some grub, a smokescreen surrounds the entrance booth*
Me: This doesn't look good.
*Soon after an explosion happens, and its obvious that a skirmish is happening*
Me: Isn't that where...
*I get up just an announcement blares out*
Announcement: Attention everyone, a group of bandits has just attacked the front entrance, stealing all the prize money. Please remain calm while we contact the police.
Me: They have potentially my money. Calm isn't an option.
*I push people out of the way as I rush towards the smoke covered booth*

Her Persian let out an angry sound to say it was digging that idea.

Right as Rei was reaching out for his Miltank burger, smoke filled the area two booths away. A loudspeaker blared its announcement, and Rei saw Brian and Rose on the move. He apologized quickly to the merchant and headed towards the booth, guessing his allies' actions.

Caleb hadn't noticed the smokecreen. He'd been relaxing a bit until the explosion made him jump. He couldn't help but grimace at the announcement. Oh well, at least it would be taken care of by the local authorities for a change.
He frowned a bit as his team mates started getting riled up about fighting thieves. His money had been stolen as well, but he'd much rather leave the police to do their job.
