Well, there are anonymous groups for just about everything else that I figured there had to be one for that..XDD
I had a boyfriend that was addicted to going to those meetings...
I know, I know, being addicted to an anonymous meeting sounds unproductive considering what they where for...but he was obsessed with them...
Through my time of dating him I was at Debters Anon (i owned 1 credit card), Overeaters Anon (I had no money for food so I didn't eat! College will do that to anyone), Alcoholics Anon (he was an alcoholic..therefor convinced that I was because I had the occasional drink), and a couple more...I am defitnately NOT any of those things lol!!! But he was convinced that everyone had to go to them.
@Lori~ No worries! I just didn't want the thread to fall apart into political debates. I don't mind them, but sometimes people can get angry and offended if points of view are different from theirs.
ps. I did enjoy reading your point of view on it!!! It is always nice to see what other people think....it always makes me look at things in a new way.
It made me wonder if the creators of Capitalism would say them same thing. That it is now practiced as an extreme form of the philosophy and not as it was intended.
Sort of reminds me of the old saying of "The road to hell is paved in good intentions." It doesn't quite fit this....but it is the sence of good intentions being ruined by the need for power.
