It's not surprising your father talks differently under the circumstances.

My friend with no teeth who refuses to wear his dentures can speak clearly, exactly the way he did when he had all his teeth. I don't know what the trick is. Practice I reckon.

Does your father plan to try dentures? I've heard they're not like real teeth but some find them a reasonable second best.

I think he intends to get Dentures at some point, for now he doesnt seem to mind not having any teeth.

3nodding I agree, I would rather have dentures than nothing at all.

As a Security Guard at a busy building my Toothless Buddy had to do a lot of talking. And "practice makes perfect," as they say.

Hehe we're single and need a dazzling smile to impress the girls. Your father already has his lifetime partner so I guess it's less important to have dentures.

Toothless Buddy probably had a lot of people at work saying "Say whut?" until he could talk right without teeth. lol

Yeah good luck to us finding a decent girl. It seems like the really good ones are taken. Or live far away. I'm not up for relocating.

There is a girl sitting next to me... and she does seem bored. Of course, I am still not looking for anybody to be with because I am still dealing with the pain of the past. (Nobody should have to be the person to put pieces of one's heart back together again. It should be on the person with the broken heart... unless somebody comes around who wants to deal with your brokenness.)
