I would think it' a possibility, but would it be part of what the character would do? Seikio would surly not do it, because he doesn't know this girl and has nothing to do with her (and doesn't know that she is a Jio herself, I'm sure if he really knew it he might try something, considering the only other Jio is Tomoko who he really isn't fond of) And Zuko wouldn't cause of the same reasoning as Sekio, and if she knew that my girl was a Jio she might go nutz.
