Reeve takes a hissing breath of air before opening his eye. Oh, lordy, this thing hurts! He clenches his teeth, instinctively reaching out for Nyl's hand, which he squeezes rather hard instead of yelling again.

Nyl held onto his hand with both of hers, speaking quietly. "I know it hurts, Reeve, but you have to stay relaxed. As much as you can."

Seph nodded and moved his fingers to points around Reeve's eye. He was sure to keep his cold hand tucked away, unsure of how it would react to chakra. That was a test best saved for alone-time. He narrowed one eye in concentration, then pulled his hand away and snapped almost at the same time.
Rai channeled it's way into his eyeball, attracted to the shards buried deep within. He looked to Nyl and nodded some, wiggling his fingers very slightly, the shards pulling out quickly.

Nyl moved just as quickly, covering Reeve's eye with her hand again and bringing her ijutsu back up. "Close your eye again, he's done."

Relaxed? This hurt almost as bad as the explosion did.
"Okay...I'm ssssorry..." He hisses, squeezing harder as the pieces came out.
"Aaah..." He closes his eyes with relief plain in his sigh, tearing up beneath the closed eyelid.

Nyl moved her hands back to the sides of his face. "Tell me if that happens again - if it starts hurting at all." She shut her eyes and started to glow again, working a bit faster now but not so fast as to make mistakes.

He held them in his hand, looking them over, frowning. He sighed some, leaving them on the coffee table.

Nyl pulled her hands away slowly, nodding. "Sure. It's late, anyway, and we're both tired." She squinted at Reeve, who appeared to be slightly shaking. Then again, it could have been her. "I'm going to re-wrap your eyes, though. I don't know what would happen if you were to open them somewhere bright."

"All right. Sorry, Nyl, your hand-" He stops abruptly, realising that he'd still been holding it. He lets it go. "I was gripping rather hard..."

Nyl wiggled her fingers, wincing a little. "Yes, well, you didn't break it. So we're good. ...I'm sorry you had to go through that. The other...methods I could think of were even less appealing."

He disappeared, reappearing in the medbay, moving around, pulling out medical tape. He nodded again and smiled, teleporting back to the main room.
"Here you go."

"Mm, thanks." Nyl took it from him, carefully re-bandaging Reeve's eyes. "You're only really shojiki because I needed a gopher." She grinned at him, well-aware he could see it perfectly clearly. "You can turn the lights back up now, too."

He returned her grin and rose his hand up a bit, bringing the lights up with it slowly. He dropped Byakougan, letting his eyes readjust with the light.
