*waveness to everybody*

completely missed bridgechan and 0mega's shop openings, even though i posted right after 0mega said we can post orders xd . oh well, i can wait.

as for the alice in wonderland conversation... i remember seeing an alice movie when i was a kid, but the only part i can remember is that the little bottle says in a teeny voice, "drink me!" or maybe i just made that up xd .

alice in wonderland was the very first book i bought and read (second was wizard of oz), when i was around 6-8 years old. then when i was 9, i checked out this alice/looking glass book from the school library. it seemed pretty thick at the time, with nice, thick, parchment-like pages, the original illustrations, and a blue leather (or cloth?) hardcover. i stayed up pretty late reading through the looking glass 3nodding .

since then, i've chucked my first alice book (it's at my parents' house) and have hunted everywhere for that blue edition. i couldn't find it anywhere, so i ended up buying another edition, with a green cover, from some online seller. it's the same edition that i kept seeing in this bookstore close to my elementary school, but it was never bought for as long as i was there 3nodding .

i'ma read the looking glass wars once the trilogy's complete xd heart .

Omega: I don't like scary movies (even ones that are supposedly not scary). As I just mentioned I'm getting over a cold.
Here's one for you:

LadyD: I haven't cared much for orange juice (or oranges for that matter) this pregnancy and spicy foods don't agree with the baby, but thanks. heart

*waves to Cardi*

LadyD: Well I'm feeling better, but not quite there ya konw...

Omega: Yeah. I also thought that "In Vermont, the ratio of cows to 0mega_Virus is 10:1!" was amusing. Only ten cows in all of Vermont? wink

Edit:

I'm just glad that Little Miss seems to be doing better. She got sick and got all whiney and stuff. She's behaving much better now that she's feeling better. Not to mention she got to see Grandma (my parent's house) yesterday and Grandpa (Hubby's dad's house) today.

Omega: Must be.

yeah, and i bet once i finish it, i'll be slobbering after the next volume xd . too much of a torture if not all volumes are available xd .

*waveness to jen again* whee

rofl heart my favorites:
Without its lining of cardi, your stomach would digest itself.

The pharoahs of ancient Egypt wore garments made with thin threads of beaten cardi (will make great avatar edits!).

During the reign of Peter the Great, any Russian nobleman who chose to wear cardi had to pay a special cardi tax! (that's an expensive avatar edit!)

If you don't get out of bed on the same side you got in, you will have cardi for the rest of the day.

The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor?

Are we thinking of the same book?
