Nori slides off the wall, running to catch up with Pyrolis then matching her stride. "Well, I guess I'll just follow your lead...I never was a good leader, always stayed in the shadow as a follower...Mostly because my sense of direction...So...were you insinuating a date or was that just me being a tad overperceptive? Don't take me the wrong way or anything but I'm just curious..." Nori gives her a wide grin before becoming serious and staring straight ahead. "Heh..Don't mind me, If you havn't figured out...I like to joke around alot. Being serious is just too dull of a character trait...Too many people are stone-faced and boring, so I like to liven things up. But I know it gets on peoples nerves most of the time."

Grinning she nodded. "I can tell, you don't seem the serious type to me," she said, stretching as her back cracked loudly. Yawning she shook her head and kept walking. "So what're you doing here anyway? Everyone I've come across has had some sort of interesting ability but I can't tell from looking at you what your's is," she said curiously.

Nori stops and looks at Pyro. He holds out his hands and an ice crystal forms in his palms. He then shapes it into a rose and holds it out to her. "Heh...My looks are decieving, most have guessed that I would be someone with fire attributes, but quite the opposite...Ice is my thing, that and I have a high gun-handling skill level. I can do little things with my ice power, such as making you this flower without it being too draining, I havn't mastered all the skills yet..."

Pyro squeeled happily as he held out an ice flower to her, smiling as she took it carefully in hr hands to keep it from melting so quickly. "It's pretty, thank you," she said, touching the cold petals. "You're right, I wouldn't have guessed you as being an ice elementalist. Fire is nice but I'd like ice better, less feared by people I guess though my actual ability gets me used by others for personal gain you could say," she said, staring at the flower

Nori raises an eyebrow at her comment. "What do you mean...used for personal gain? Well, I don't mean to pry...but truth be told, I am kinda curious about you...You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He looks around, spotting a large oak tree. He takes Pyro by the arm and sits under the tree. "There, its dark, quiet and...well...mostly away from people. We can rest here for a while and then find somewhere else later..."

Plopping down she gave him a strange grin. "Controling fire isn't my main ability... I can enhance the power of others. Do we see the personal gain from that now?" Turning she leaned up against the tree, crossing her arms over her chest after adjusting her glasses

"Power enhancement huh? Thats different, I have never heard of anybody able to do something like that..." Nori then begins conjuring up another ice shard before turning it into another flower and placing it on the ground at his feet, a serious look on his face. "I never was one for using people...Kind of like my magic...If I keep practicing with small things, theres no use for battling...I will become proficient with my other spells in due time...Truth be told, I never relied on people...They always thought I was wierd for my strange abilities...Heh...One of humanities building blocks is trust and reliance on others...I never felt that way..."

"I've never learned to trust, it's always been just me and my abilities and my books. I don't really need anything else. My rare ability got my parents everything they'd ever wanted... greedy bastards," she grumbled as she mentioned her parents. Sighing she smiled. "People don't trust what they don't understand and nothing is achieved without hard work, those are the only two things I believe anymore," she said

Nori looks up at Pyro and gives her a warm smile. "You sound more and more like me by the minute...I knew I wouldn't be dissapointed when I first spoke to you...Though I'm guessing most people around here have the same sort of story, so I guess it was just me trying to hit on you or something..." He laughs before picking up the ice flower and breaking it in his hand. "Oh well...whatever the reason was, It's in the past...How about lunch? My treat!"

Giving a nervous laugh she smiled. "I ate a little already but I ended up burning most of it and almost starting the cafeteria on fire... I had an accident and lost an entire bag of books," she sighed. She was clean now but her bag still had a little bit of ash left on it from the incident. "Actually food sounds kind of good, lead the way," she said, standing up and grinning at him

Walking out to the courtyard, Zero was breathing heavily. He had had to run from the hospital, seeing as how the nurses did not see him fit, were not letting him leave. Chuckling a little, he stopped, panting, against a tree. He was not fully recovered, but this would do.

Walking around with hands in pockets, Zero sighs. "Noone around, as usual. It seems I drive people away, for whatever reason. Oh well...." Sitting down, he put his head in his knees, tired.

Nori, laughing, stands up and looks around. "Umm...cafeteria..." He starts walking one direction before stopping and turning around, going the other way. He stops infront of Pyro, scratching the back of his head and giving her an embarassed smile. "Cafeteria...Heh, why don't you lead for a while longer...I still havn't the foggiest as to where anything is yet..."

Nodding she smiled and was still holding the flower though it was starting to melt all over. Leading the way they walked into the cafeteria, Pyro pulling out a small wallet to pay for her food

A little breath escaped Rene in a pitiful sound. She sighed as her gaze scanned the wide courtyard. "How come I don't know anybody out here?" The girl was sitting to side of the great statue of the phoenix and dragon. That statue was enourmous and towered high, as a result it cast a thick shadow in the early afternoon sun. This shadow offered a little haven for the student in the overwhelming heat.
"I should join a poplular club or something. I wonder if there's any parties on campus that I could meet people at, but I dont really want to meet people. What's wrong with me. Rene! Your so annoying!" The burnett argued with herself at a volume that seemed there was someone invisible who creating conflict with her. "I wonder if Joy even goes here anymore, or Susie. I haven't seen them since I got back. Or anyone else." She once more stretched her gaze on the scarcely populated area. There were only a few dots of students, in couples or by themselves. Most were inside, hiding from the heat. "I'm a baka."
