Deciding to train his bloodline limitation, the Jiongu tendril threading, he began studying the Thread Reach which was the most basic jutsu for his bloodline. Essentially using the threads in his wrists, he could allow it to become loose and extend his hands in any direction. Launching one of his hands towards one of the dummies, he choked it for a moment. (1/1)

The next jutsu in his bloodline limitation was the Thread Creation: Shuriken. Basically using the threads in the wrist and some forced momentum from a fist thrust, shuriken could be launched at a target. He quickly weaved shuriken in-between his knuckles before launching them at the same dummy he choked earlier. (1/1)

Thread Extension was an advanced version of the Thread Reach. Basically, Thread Extension allowed the user to make their entire body more limber and loose to become more flexible and agile. Unlike the Thread Reach, the strength of the user is not reduced at the distance. Thread protruded from his shoulders, elbows, and wrist joints allowing him to fully extend his arms. (1/1)

Another jutsu he was interested in learning was the Thread Creation: Lance jutsu. This jutsu allowed the manipulation and weaving of an arm of his own choosing into a lance-like blade sharpness. Quickly moving his tendrils into a blade, he shaped it actively. Fang then sliced one of the dummies without any mercy. (1/1)

Using the scroll he was learning from about his bloodline limitation, Fang began to study one of the more advanced techniques. For his next technique he would be learning the Exoskeleton of Threads. This is the advanced version of the Thread Extension jutsu. Using a handseal, he attempted to spread his tendril threads outward en masse. (1/3)

As his threads spread out his wrists, shoulders, neck, and other places, he began to appear more gruesome and menacing that was three times his original size. As the threads continued to spread outward, he dug in around the area outside of the academy as he grew to his maximum size. (2/3)

Swinging a large mass of threads like one massive arm extension, he crashed it against a nearby tree, breaking it under the immense weight and the physical force. He reached out in multiple directions grabbing branches at tossing them in different directions. His threads made his control over the area essentially absolute. It was a powerful jutsu. (3/3)

Following up on his tendril threading mastery, he decided to learn the Walking Limb jutsu. This technique was one that required the user to place a heart into one of their limbs allowing that limb to function on its own. Using his Lightning Heart, he attempted to separate it into a mass of threads and walk upright on its own. He gave up an arm for this. (1/3)

As the arm was detached, he found its movement quite natural, as though he had been doing this jutsu for some time. The arm moved about and using its fingers as leg movement, dangled about until it climbed up a nearby tree, using its bark for climbing forms. The arm was about to grip and function as though it was attached to Fang. (2/3)

Once the arm reached the top of the tree, it crawled back down, scaling it quickly. It scurried towards the mass of threads to Fang. As it reached Fang, the threads began to suture back together and combine back into his arm socket as it once was in the first place. Using this jutsu in the future could drastically change the flow of the battle. (3/3)

For the final Jiongu Method technique that he wanted to learn, it was key to the bloodline and one of its major ways of obtaining a new heart. The technique was called Extraction and was used to remove the heart using tendrils that would reach into the victim's body to pull the heart out of it. He studied this jutsu for the time being to make sure he understood it. (1/3)

Using a dummy to simulate the idea for this jutsu, he then began to use his tendrils to search through the dummy's internal part ripping through the straw rapidly seeking where the heart would. Once they reached the heart's section, the extraction in theory would take place pulling the heart into the threads and back into the user. (2/3)

Fang then did the same motion again. The idea was that practice would make perfect. He wanted to make sure he would not have a hard time being able to actively use this ability once he battles were taking off. In times of war in particular, being able to extract the heart of shinobi with elements that he did not possess would prove to be a necessary evil. He was very much looking forward to this ability. (3/3)

Fang decided that all of his training had been leaving him in a good place to start training his chakra control to improve his chakra and stamina capacity. In order to train this he would practice handseals and hold them while circulating chakra. He formed a single handseal to begin this process. As his chakra began to move, he began his meditation. (1/5)

Holding that handseal in place for an extended duration, while uncomfortable, was part of how one meditated. His chakra was attempting to evenly flow throughout his body. From each chakra point it flowed outward to the furthest points from the center to roughly halfway. (2/5)

As his chakra points reached their maximum distance, he relaxed in his meditation. Releasing that handseal, he then formed a new one and attempted to send his chakra out faster than before. As long as his chakra reached the furthest points, he knew he was on the right track. (3/5)

He decided to start practicing extending his chakra meditation to longer duration than before. Fang wanted to be able to eventually hold it for a solid two minutes as his first short term goal. At the current time he could hold it for a minute. Perhaps, training this again later would help his times. (4/5)

Following the motions that he had essentially mastered, he released the chakra meditation for a moment and caught his breath. Sending chakra in the body all at once in different directions was very exhausting. He then proceeded to use the same handseal as before and found his vault increased. (5/5)

Seeing as he was already on a roll with his chakra meditation, Fang decided he would go ahead and continue training it this time hoping to send his chakra out in faster times. His goal as before was two minutes in duration for now. Later on maybe even longer. He formed a handseal to begin. (1/5)

As his chakra was sent out it was sent out at the same normal rate as before with no apparent speed increase. While frustrating, Fang recognized that it was not going to happen right away. He released the handseal and tried again, this time more forcefully concentrating on his meditative stance to send his chakra out. (2/5)

The chakra was moving slightly faster than before. He was able to hold it for an additional thirty seconds as he continued holding it in place before releasing the meditative stance. Forming a new handseal, he concentrated his chakra and kept moving it about his chakra points so that he could gain a new planar dominion over it. (3/5)

With enough effort, his chakra meditation reached its base goal of two minutes. He could safely hold the meditative state for a solid two minutes, which meant that he had thoroughly improved his training since he had first began. Forming another handseal, he decided to push the envelop further using everything he had learned prior. (4/5)

With a single handseal, he send his chakra outward to the furthest points all in a single motion faster than ever before. Closing his eyes, he allowed the meditation to manipulate and spread the chakra out evenly as though he was really in charge of it. Holding it for longer than two minutes, he was able to eventually hold it in place for three. (5/5)

His next training and probably the final training for a while was going to be his performance ability. This meant how well one could perform and sustain jutsu, multiple jutsu at once, when burning them for future battles where chakra supply would be more limited than normal. With this in mind, he formed handseal and created a Shadow Clone. (1/3)

As he felt his chakra having been divided, he then used the Shadow Clone to form another set of handseals and make a new Shadow Clone. His chakra was now split three ways among the two clones and himself. He smiled, knowing he was going to push envelop further. He was training his chakra performance after all, so why not put on a performance. (2/3)

The two Shadow Clones proceeded to form handseals and make one additional clone each. Fang's chakra was now split evenly between four clones and himself. Each would pull chakra from his center vault. As his chakra felt tested due to being divided, he felt the success of this training. (3/3)

As his training continued, he released the Shadow Clones and went on to start training other ninjutsu. Heading outside he decided he would use the Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu technique, sending it rolling against the ground in one direction. While he did this, he formed another Shadow Clone. (1/3)

Forming the necessary handseals using the Shadow Clone, they both formed the Powerful Fireball Jutsu at each other at equal power. The flames collided and began to negate each other as neither was stronger in force than the other. As the flames began to disperse, Fang stared the other Shadow Clone done. (2/3)

Both Fang and the Shadow Clone formed two more Shadow Clones. Their chakra was split four ways as each began to quickly form handseals. Four Fireball Jutsus were formed as launched into the center point from each of them equidistant. As the flames crashed into one-another a massive spiraling torrent of fire occurred before negating itself. (3/3)

Approaching the easily recognizable man whom he was meant to serve under, Fang stated, "I'm supposed to be working under you starting today. I'm a fresh genin... Sensei?" It was difficult for him to address authority figures with respect when they did not earn it personally to him, in his eyes. Despite everything Wanryoku had done for the village, being that he had no relations with Fang, he still saw him as more of just another member of the village and less of someone worthy of respect. Being more direct, Fang explained, "I really want to get to work and make some money. So if you have any suggestions, I'm all ears."

He studied the brute for some time, sighing intimately in his head. Of all the squads to get put into, he was put into one with the walking giant who seemed to be socially awkward. Fang thought that he was socially awkward, but this guy was just out there. He was hoping he would at least get his sister Ri-Ri put onto the same squad as him, but even then, was this guy good enough for her as well? Knowing Ri-Ri she deserved only the best sensei Kumo could offer. Well, he is a Jounin, so he had to have earned bit of renown. He couldn't be that terrible, I don't think.

Osamu Sasori Aburame

Kumogakure // Genin / D-Rank // Medical / Taijutsu // Aburame Clan // Katon/ Doton // Chakra: 400 / 400 // Stamina: 325 / 325 // Insects (Body): 1000 / 1000 // Insects (Gourd) 1500

Way in the back corner of the academy/ dojo, where Osamu had been training, he had decided to take a small break and a quick nap to rest before jumping back into everything, and so had made himself an insect cocoon using his clan’s jutsu and slept in a corner. Little did he know, however, that his body would decide to go into overdrive as he slept, pumping out hormones and going through a total metamorphosis… much like the insects he harbored within him… When he awoke, he realized that it felt strangely cramped in his cocoon, which had previously been made to fit his body perfectly. Wiggling his hand down to his kunai pouch, he grabbed one and started to cut his way out of the tight place before finally rolling out of it. Standing up, everything seemed strange… like he was higher up… he glanced at his hands, and saw they were significantly larger. Finding a training mirror, he looked at himself and was dumbfounded to find that he had aged several years rapidly during his nap; but, for some reason didn’t feel like his mind and body were out of match. ‘Hmm, not bad..’ he thought to himself as he saw that his muscles had bulked up considerably, “My body must have kicked puberty and everything into hyperdrive while I was sleeping… well people are gonna have some interesting reactions to this, at least the few I’ve met and trained with so far…” Osamu said to himself as he stretched out, feeling limber and like he could easily handle a more up close fight than he could have before, and for some reason, probably the massive influx of testosterone, he figured, he felt like that’s what he’d rather do instead of working through those puppets from a distance. Nodding, he looked around to see who was in the academy now.

Rina decided to finish off her training for the time being she would learn to better manipulate and use her bloodline to the best of her current ability. To begin she pulled up her sleeve to reveal her stitched wrist, and with a little willpower and some chakra she began to guide the threads from her wrist out in the open. To demonstrate the sheer fluidity of her threads she wrapped them around one of her kunai and maneuvered it with precise strikes for a few moments before placing it back in her pouches. [1/1]

With the threads still sprouting from her wrist she decided to try a more complicated move, spinning her arm clockwise the threads began to stretch and thin themselves with the help of a little chakra manipulation. Before long they began to detach themselves and one at a time lodged deep within the wooden torso of a training dummy. Three total pieces of her threaded body were sticking from the dummy, as sharp as shuriken, leaving it skewered deeply which caused a slight smile from the quiet young woman. [1/1]

For her next practice technique Rina started by throwing her kunai into a nearby training dummy before focusing her efforts on elongating the threads in her arm. She began with the threads at her shoulder causing them to crawl out from under her skin and snake their way down her arm. The elbow threads followed in suit further increasing the length of thread at her disposal until she finally had a long winding amount of thread falling down the length of her arm and past it. [1/2]

Her next objective was easy enough as she raised her arm and pointed it toward the training dummy where she had tossed the kunai. The limp threads dangling down her arm began to move as she applied her chakra, slowly but surely they stretched and moved toward the intended target, overlapping each other as they did so. Before long she had outstretched her threads like a thick whip, and using them she gripped the kunai and began to pull it back to her retracting the threads back to the entry points they came from. [2/2]

Next she decided on a more offensive use for her threads and began to pool them from her elbow and wrist, the stitches opening to make way for the sheer quantity of threads being expelled from her body. Once she had a long snaking line of threads curling up at her feet she began to use her chakra to mold them. Tightening the threads around one another, wrapping them across and hardening them. [1/2]

Once she was finished her arm seemed to cut off half way into an obscure lance of threads, something out of nightmares. The lance was pointed and looked sharp as steel despite the material it was made of stemming from her body. She waved it aimlessly, getting a feel for it before approaching a training dummy. She stabbed at the practice dummy, impaling it multiple times and getting a good feel for the strength behind the attack before retracting the threads once more. [2/2]

For her final technique she wanted to attempt a more elaborate and difficult manipulation of her body and the tendrils within them. Starting with her arms she began by pulling the threads from the stitches on her elbows and shoulders on both arms. Removing a fast quantity of threads and leaving them hanging limply there for the time being, she looked like a toy losing all of its stuffing. [1/4]

Next she opened the stitches on her upper back- a place she was more comfortable with manipulating as she often sprouted mock wings from the area on a daily basis. Tendrils began to pour out from her back, elongated and coiling behind her they continued to fall out from the open stitches until they were roughly the same amount being used by her elbow and shoulders. She let them lay limp as she did the others for the moment, she seemed to resemble a disgusting creature more and more. [2/4]

Next she started by manipulating the tendrils at her back, using her chakra in order to move them to her will. Effortlessly creating spindly appendages which moved about behind her freely, lashing out at nearby objects such as the training dummies. Her horrible appearance was becoming more demonic with each change, a mass of tentacles striking out. [3/4]

She finally moved on to her arms, the great mass of tendrils laying limp around her began to come to life and mimic those on her back. Before long she had all of the tendrils outside of her body under perfect control. Using them to move quickly across the academy like a spider. She even attempted to push off the ground for a further jump, and climb walls. After having her fun she let the tendrils return to her body and once again she was the spitting image of a lovely young woman. No longer a monster for the time being. [4/4]

The next technique in question was the first she wanted to leearn with the second heart she had inherited. How she had claimed this heart she'd rather not say. Weaving the correct hand signals she finished quickly before bringing her hands to her mouth. Collecting a great amount of air in her lungs she prepared to unleash it in one massive blast of air. [1/2]

After a moment Rina unleashed the large amount of air she had accumulated in her lungs and throat. It expelled in one massive gust, actually managing to pull a training dummy from its perch and send it flying. When she had finished and began catching her breath she had nearly managed to uproot a second dummy but it had just barely hung on for dear life to its spot. [2/2]

The second technique was similar to her first, a breath-like attack that she needed to prepare herself for before unleashing upon the nearby training dummy. Collecting air into her lungs once more her body nearly changed physically due to the amount of swirling wind in her body. She weaved a few signals while craning her neck toward the training dummy which was already on its last legs. [1/2]

In the next moment she unleashed a ball of wind from her mouth which was fast like a torpedo in its movement. Near invisible already the speed of the attack made it that much more difficult to pinpoint. When the wind based attack struck the dummy it exploded outward into splinters from the explosive concussion-like blast emitted from the attack.[2/2]

-----{ A }s the giant Jounin waited for the return of his new genin, he considered the puppetry that laid out before him. At his side there was a loud snort, almost a scoff, as his uncle glared derisively at the downed Samuru. That he felt nothing but disdain for the puppeteer was clear, yet such things were to be expected given the rather violent and more physically intimate nature in which their kind made war. With a glare he silenced the talking miniature head before looking back to Samuru, only to turn as he felt the displacement of air that usually accomplished a shunshin.

-----Behind him stood a fox faced Anbu, the white mask and blue-black clothing making him difficult to see in the reduced light of the room. These had come to him a few times throughout the last few weeks, each bearing a piece of paper with funny little runes written upon them, surely a message of some sort. Each time they had left before he could speak, each shoving the paper into his arms and fleeing before he could demand aid. Not this time. The instant the scroll left ANBU hands a meaty fist seemed to sprout from the fox man's chest, and a rather imposing giant now hovered a scant few inches from his face. The grim firmness with which he held the ANBU told him everything he needed to know: this wasn't going to be an easy next few minutes. When Wanryoku took the scroll and held it up next to his face, the scroll upside down, his mouth opened long enough for him to speak two eloquently simple words: "What say?"

-----The next few minutes involved the ANBU going over the entire report, letter by letter, explaining all that had been going on in the village and that there had been a change in his genin. That the genin list had been so full before was strange, as only one had ever come for him before, only to abandon him seemingly minutes later. Now, it seemed others had been given to him, with only the barest of descriptions to go off of. Asking for their files would be meaningless, and not for the first time Wanryoku felt ashamed of his lack of word comprehension with this new language, as well as his inability to speak. Few in his tribe had needed to learn it, for their abilities lie in destroying, not learning. Sighing internally so as not to put the ANBU into any more stress, the miniature ogre released the ANBU and nodded, allowing him to skitter off in a muffled detonation of rapid displacement.

-----Sighing with concern, Wanryoku considered what best to do with this situation. The sounds of training around him, the crashing of bodies to floormats, resounded within the longtime training facility to the point where thinking was, unfortunately, difficult at best. Turning to give everyone a stern yelling, he caught himself looking at someone...new. A genin he had not seen before, someone whom, from the looks of him, seemed to match the description to a certain degree for the genin known as Fang. An odd boy with startling red black hair, with the sheen of sweat across his skin speaking of what must have been a recent exercise in rigorous training. The giant with the silver eyes cast his gaze up and down the child's body, taking in the toned and heavily worked body, considering how best to answer boy's words. Claiming to be a fresh genin was strange, given his apparent training he had clearly started, yet Wanryoku would not be the one to ridicule him. Suggestions for the child would be difficult without more information, and so he cocked his head to the side and considered. "You Fang, yes? Where Reen-ah and Osamu?" Odd that one of the genin would have a name so close to his uncle's, though hopefully the child would not live to be like his near-namesake.

-----The gentle giant wondered how the genin would perceive his apparent lack of speech ability. The accent he bore was quite difficult to the average listener to understand, and so he simplified his words, yet many to date had found it easier and more convenient to assume his mind to be the equivalent of a child's. Nothing was further from the truth, but it happened.

-----Raising his arms and placing his callused hands upon his waist he considered what do to next. First, of course, to answer the question posed to him. "When we together I start training and missions, no sooner. We train and work together for best results." And, of course, to build friendships, though this hope he left out. Revealing such information often only proved a detriment to that very goal, especially with the genin as of late.

Slightly intrigued by the head on the spear that seemed to remain alive, Fang eyed it for a moment, as he was sort of put off by it. It definitely meant Wanryoku was a violent one. Despite that, however, Fang was used to seeing gore. His village on the outskirts of Kumogakure was raided and raised. Death was all around him and his sister back then. Then as he became more aware as he got older of his bloodline limitation, he was even less bothered by things that to most would make them nauseous or disgusted. Yes, Fang knew that Wanryoku was a Jounin. He knew he was powerful. But, until Wanyroku could demonstrate it personally, the respect was something that had to be earned. Fang felt the same way in reverse. He shouldn't be respected until he proved himself worthy. That's why he was so anxious to do missions.

Having noticed the speech barrier and the man's apparent lack of reading skill Fang didn't mean to, but he blurted out, "So... you can't read? How old are you?" As the man addressed Fang, his eyes widened as the failure to properly enunciate his sister's name occurred. "Oh no. No. No. No. Her name is not Reen-a. It's Rina. Say it with me. Rina. R-i-n-a. ACTUALLY. To you sir, it's Ms. Maebara. M-a-e-b-a-r-a. Understand? Ms. Maebara-san." Crossing his arms and frowning, Fang glared at Wanryoku, not giving the man who seemed to still be trying to fit in to Kumogakure any consideration whatsoever. To Fang, Wanryoku was just another male trying to get into his quite attractive sister's pants. Everyone was after her. Because, she was one of Kumo's beauties. Any man lucky to even have her say hello to them should drop dead and go straight to heaven. Fang was lucky to be alive considered he got to be around her all the time. I'll never give my big sister away... No one can have her like I can.

Then he responded to the giant's question as to where they were. "Well, for one. I didn't know they would be on my squad. And two. Do I really have to go and find THEM? They're adults. They should know how to go to you when they were probably assigned the same order as me from the Raikage." Turning his head to the side, he scoffed his frown deepening at his increased frustration. Fang was afraid that he was put on the squad fraught with retards and ********. That was what he did not want. He wanted to be on a squad that could put him down a Hunter-Nin career path. He wanted to go onto great perilous missions and become rich and famous renown not only throughout Kumogakure, but the ninja world. Feared for his vast infamy.

The young kunoichi's attention was caught by the argument being had a ways down the dojo between two unmistakable people. Her brother was a figure she knew well, his sleek black hair and strange garb. The other had to have been Wanryoku the hulking shinobi who would be teaching her, Kaileer had said that he was unable to be missed in a crowd after all, and this man stuck out like a sore thumb. As she drew closer she realized the argument was about her, Satoshi's brotherly acts were tarnishing his first impression with their. With haste she drew close to her brother and the barbarian, her movements were graceful and gentle. Or they were up until the point that her hand came down on Satoshi's head in the form of a swift chop. It was a light hit, nothing serious but enough to let him know his actions were out of turn. Within the next moment she was bowing before the large man who she assumed was her teacher, giving him the respect he deserved, aand a little extra for her brothers sake.

"Forgive him sensei, he's thinks very highly of me" she explained, hoping to excuse his actions enough to keep him from getting reprimanded. At the same moment she rose from her bow, her icy pools locking on to the brutish figure of her squad leader. She found his size, weight, height, everything about his figure was interesting. She let her hands fall to her sides, sparing a quick glance at Satoshi as she did so- albeit a sharp one as she was unimpressed with the way he was portraying himself. After that she returned her attention to the large man before her. "I am Rina, do not worry about pronunciation" she noted his difficulty in pronunciation and having no real emotional ties to her name she didn't mind if he wanted to find something easier to call her, so long as it wasn't offensive like "monster" she already heard that one enough from the villagers and fellow genin. Although from the few words he had spoken and his body language she could already tell he was a gentle giant of sorts, very friendly despite his appearance. Rina was never one to judge by first glance as she had it happen to her all too often- people would see her for her beauty and hide away from what was truly underneath once they found out what she was.

Talk of training and missions made her feel guilty for sparring time before the meeting in order to train herself. However it was too late to go back now, she had accomplished a few feats she was more than happy with in the time she took away from her order to find Wan, she was proud with herself. Missions didn't sound terrible, she wasn't sure what kind of leader Wan would be, but so far she had no reason to doubt his ability. She would allow him to lead her so long as she didn't interpret any of his orders to be detrimental to the squadron or her own safety.

Osamu Sasori Aburame

Kumogakure // Genin / D-Rank // Medical / Taijutsu // Aburame Clan // Katon/ Doton // Chakra: 400 / 400 // Stamina: 325 / 325 // Insects (Body): 1000 / 1000 // Insects (Gourd) 1500

Osamu had been scanning through scrolls for taijutsu and bukijutsu when he thought he overheard mention of squads, causing him to look up. He had never actually gotten around to finding his supposed sensei and squad leader, and figured now was as good a time as ever. Standing and stashing a scroll for a tai style into his hoodie, Osamu chuckled to himself when he heard the huge man across the room say his name. ‘So, that’s my sensei, eh? This should be interesting…’ he thought to himself as he strolled quietly over to stand at the other apparent genin’s 7 o’clock, “You know, insulting your sensei, who’s not only a jounin, but appears to be approximately four feet taller than you and probably several times your weight most likely isn’t an action that will end very fortuitously…. For you, at least. I however would probably get a good laugh out of seeing a pompous, arrogant little ingrate have the concavity of his skull inverted.” Osamu would then look towards the giant who was apparently to be his sensei and slowly look up to meet his eye, pausing for a moment and cocking an eyebrow at the sight of a small head peeking out of the quiver at the man’s hip, before nodding to him, “I heard you say my name a moment ago, I’m Osamu Aburame, one of the genin on your squad. I saw a list a while back, but kind of got caught up in my training, you must be Wanryoku, nice to meet you.”

"Be the fly on the wall…..strike like a nest of hornets."

Yuto Hakate

..........Yuto never even made it out of the dojo before he noticed that the others he was going to look for were already in there with him. Shaking his head he felt like an idiot but shrugging it off he turned and headed back towards Wan and the others. Once reaching them he stopped and listened to what was going on. Apparently the one named Fang had insulted Wan or what seemed like was said as Yuto simply chuckled to himself at the thought. He had seen what Wan had done to his family member so he could only imagine what he would do to this genin. His attention then came upon the other male there. He was the one that made the remark about Wan being insulted. His name seemed to be Osamu and he also seemed to be someone who knew the difference in power between him and Wan, if it wasn't blankly obvious. Then his eyes fell upon the female, whom beauty was obvious. She seemed to be the reason apologizing for the one named Fang. So all of you are part of my squad. My name is Yuto Hakate, pleasure to meet all of you. I hope we work well together. With that he nodded towards them all before going quiet waiting for Wan to say something. From looking at the others they seemed to have trained a bit so in his mind he must have been the weakest as he hadn't trained at all yet.

-----{ I }t seemed the second of his four genin to appear would take the belief that he was a simple minded lummox. Once he would have found such a thing insulting, worthy of an immediately harsh and appropriately damaging retaliation, yet now? After seeing how Myurai had reacted to him, after the way Seiji had treated his orders and those other genin, he realized that no matter what actions he took their first impression would always be one meant for the negative. What Wanryoku had not expected, and found so perplexing, was the seemingly retaliatory remark of what amounted to an order for him to speak of Rina only through the means of her last name. Odd, as the surname wasn't really something people gained except through action, as far as he was aware. Though, thinking back on it, perhaps it was more common that he had originally assumed. Even Kaileer bore one, though from what he understood that came more from the training he had undergone in his formative years. Looking back to the child as he threw Wanryoku's orders into his face, instead choosing to forego the common student-teacher relationship in favor of trying to assume authority he had no right to, he almost reacted as a means of asserting dominance.

-----The swift actions of what would, by the shared surname, prove to be Fang's sister freed him of such a requirement. Her actions brought swift justice upon his head in the shape of a chop, followed by an eloquent bow. Odd, the way people here seemed to feel prostration was a requirement. Salutes were what he was used to, and what he expected. Including that in his list of "to-do's", Wanryoku kept a rather neutral expression on his face as she allowed him the dignity of saying her name the one way he really could. Showing appreciation for the remark at this time would likely only set her brother off further, and instead he simply grunted with a small nod of the head, the best thanks to give at the moment. From the sheen of sweat on her body, the scent of blood that tinged the atmosphere around her, and the overall body language that spoke of guilt told him that she, too, had taken up training before seeking him out. Annoying. The newest genin to pass through the academy had learned nothing, it seemed, of following orders, nor anything of the fine art of respect. An internal sigh was only barely stifled at the mere thought.

-----Words from another source came to him, a voice that carried with it an odd strength despite the somewhat frail appearance he bore. It would seem that Osamu had found his way into the area at the right time, just as Yuto finally began making his way around to find his comrades. Interesting that it took him turning around to find them all. Perhaps that was just because of Wanryoku's overall size. The child admonished his companion, utilizing words that were likely aimed to deal enough psychological antagonization so as to incite rage. His words were correct and well thought out, but lacked what he had heard others refer to as "cuth". There was a time and place, and at their first meeting taking the response from Wanryoku only served to lower his standing as the controller of this squad. Still, it allowed him a glimpse of the boy's personality, something he would need to understand quickly to respond correctly to. When the child finally turned to introduce himself it was to prove Wanryoku's assumption correct: this was, in fact, Osamu, though the last name 'Aburame' suggested the same kind of association as 'Hakemoto', as one to a clan.

-----After a polite greeting from Osamu, Yuto came back to the group from the entrance, the light touch of a blush upon his face. It seemed he had not sought to look within the walls of the Dojo itself before leaving to find his squadmates. Well, sometimes it took embarrassment to teach the best lessons, in this case to pay attention to one's surroundings. His words were ones of greetings to his entire squad, the first to do so, and for that he held a bit of pride for the young Genin. His politeness had, from the get go, allowed him to assuage the growing annoyance within the jounin. For that, Wanryoku was in his debt.

-----Taking a deep breath, Wanryoku released it slowly before gesturing with his head for them to follow. Walking through the group as if parting the seas, he moved for the exit and to the outside training grounds, where he had left Zangai to wait. As he moved he spoke, deciding that action was required before this divulged into name calling and awkward teen aggression. "Some of you already learning, training by self. That is good, and bad, for teamwork." His words were simple, his tone even and filled with assurance and dignity. While the voice was, oddly, a little on the calm side and not gruff at all, it held strength. Exiting the building, he made for Zangai, which even from several yards off could be seen to be a giant black ball three feet across with an extremely long chain attached. Upon reaching it Wanryoku would move around behind it, looking over it to the genin as they followed. Expression still neutral, he gestured to the black ball and grunted. "Touch the weapon, and tell me what 'team' means to you." A simple request for them to touch Zangai's surface, in turn, and each explain what they felt a team was.

As his squad arrived one by one Fang's fear was affirmed. He really was grouped up with the not-so-genius squad. The chop to his head was made by an increased frown, a blush of embarrassment, and then him crossing his arms and looking away from Rina in further frustration. How could you do that in front of the squad? Like, we're not at home. One of them was an Aburame who thought he was hot s**t. Addressing his witless insults, Fang retorted in a very sarcastic tone, "You know... Insulting your fellow teammate in front of your sensei for brownie points doesn't make you any better than the arrogant pompous little ingrate you are trash talking. Nice try on the brown-y points with Wanryoku. Makes you look really cool man. So cool."

The other member of their squad was some kid who wanted to be the nice guy. Fang's eyes widened and looked at Osamu and Yuto, eying them both before stating, "Man. We're going to be a GREAT team." His voice screamed sarcasm to the point where it was borderline obnoxious. Fang and Osamu clearly didn't get along. And Yuto seemed way too much like a girl for Fang's tastes. When Wanryoku asked for their opinion of what teamwork was, Fang formed a smirk that was almost like a mocking expression. His countenance beamed that what he was about to say was not going to be very nice at all. "Team. Teamwork... Well, at least we know it's not this squad! I mean look at us. Two girls! One of them being useful, the other... maybe not too much. A kid who thinks he's the tough guy suck up to the teacher... And your best candidate, yours truly, Kumo's bloodthirsty Fang ready to tear at your throat in an instant! "Mr. Cool Bug boy"..."Girly Lightning kid". Do me a favor. Don't talk to my sister, she's way out of your league. Actually make it two favors! Don't talk to Ri-Ri and don't get in my way, you'll only slow me down!"

After a moment, he paused and let his words sink in to the others before realizing he had not grabbed the weapon as his sensei requested. "I forgot to grab it, so I guess I will now." He attempted to reach for the weapon to the greater audacity of the situation. What's the worse that could happen? It's just a weapon. It's not like this really means anything to him. Knowing that he probably only made things more awkward for the squad and that he pissed off Wanryoku whose patience was already at its apex for testing. Nonetheless the genin was very brave or rather foolish.
