"Who killed him?" she asked drily, she didn't break the hug, it felt amazingly warm and loving, something she couldn't resist, she carved for affection as a fish out of water carved for liquids, the fish would have been happy with poison so long as it was liquid, that's the way she felt now, all her life Matt had been her lifeguard and now he was gone, now her only tie to this dreadful place was Raven, the Ace of spades, and he was bound to die more sooner than later due to his position.

Maria groaned. It turned out that this was simply another nag fest about how she didn't have the poise or toughness that should normally radiate from a queen. Maria couldn't help but notice that he was implying that she should be more like her mother. With evident bitterness she snapped, "How can I be like mother if I am not nearly as much of a stubborn TROLL as she?!"

Henry looked at her. "You must promise me something if I tell you, Marcie. You can't kill him. Otherwise you will die too..." He stared at her hard.
Matt walked up, "Mr. Henry..." he said. He could hear Marcie crying. He asked, "May I got to the chapel?"
Henry looked at hiim and said, "Yes son. Go ahead...." He then looked back to Marcie. "Promise me, Marcie. Matt wouldn't want it. At all.

Marcie smiled bitterly "I can't promise that" She said getting to her feet "You know i came here to find out who i needed to kill, at this point i couldn't care less for my own life, and marchy feels the same" she said getting rid of the last tears.
((sorry Anime but i had to get rid of him for the post i had planed hehe))

Henry said, "Then I can't tell you. And I know that you're upset, but killing a Suit is not the answer. You kill a Suit, they kill you." He paused, and then realized something. HE slapped Marcie. "THIS IS A DAMN SUICIDE MISSION, ISN'T IT MARCIE!?! GOD DAMN IT MARCIE, I WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN!!!"

Marcie grabbed her cheek "Really, what's up with people slapping me today?!" she said containing the urge to punch Henry "You knew what i was coming here for all along! So what if it's a suicide mission?! you didn't seem concerned when you greeted me at the door!" she said almost screaming, if he was not going to help her she would need to find another source "It wouldn't be the first body i bring you anyway" she added in a low voice, looking away from him.

Henry grabbed her shoulders and shook her. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU'RE DOING, MARCIE?!!!" He looked her straight in the eyes. "Maybe I wanted to believe that I could talk you out of this," he said. He shook her again. "Marcie, I've already had to deal with the last Hatter of Wonderland dieing today. I never thought I would put him in the ground. I don't want to put you beside him." He had tears nearly coming out of his eyes. "Marcie, Please, Don't do this..."

Marcie smiled sweetly at Henry, her eyes where empty pools still "I guess i am not getting anything from you am I?" There was no use on keeping this up, she was only loosing her time "I will bring fresh flowers for him tomorrow" she looked at the grave with longing "Laying besides him in death at least would be nice, even if i won't reach heaven next to him for this sinful soul is destined to hell" she said in a whisper, who was it talking right now? Was it her or was it Marchy? not that it mattered anyhow, their destiny was the same.

Henry said, "Marcie, if you die, then I will dig you up, chrono-freeze you, and then find a way to bring you back to life..." He paused letting it sink it. "So I can pummel you with my shovel." He was being completely serious.

((oh, yeah... forgot about matt/thad... and you stole henry's lines from Ace of clubs....))
Marcie chuckled a little "Sounds fair, will you give me a name or should i go look somewhere else?" she asked smiling, even if he was serious so was she, she was a little more clamed though, she wouldn't rush to kill the guy right away, she needed to think of a plan and maybe join whatever was left of the resistance and bring the suits down once and for all.

Henry sighed. "They'll kill me if they found out i told you," he whispered. He went to her ear and whispered, "it's one of two. I don't think it was the Jack of Spades. I didn't see anything like that on Matt. It was then the 8 of Spades. He is the main Resistance interrogator." He leaned back to normal and said, "Be safe, lass. I'd better see you tomorrow."
((Yes, yes he did, except for the shovel part. I couldn't help but lol at that one))
Matt was sitting in the pew. He looked at where he thought the stained glass window was. "I'm sorry, God, for all that I'm going to do. All the lying and stuff. But you will understand, right? I can't explain everything...But you put this all in motion, right?" he prayed. He was crying while he said all of this.

Marcie smiled frankly at him "thank you, I won't do anything rash, i promise, i guess i shouldn't hurry my death... you made me think it over and i guess it won't do any good to just kill one man, they can easily replace him..." her smile then turned to a quizzical one "unless is the head man" she said.
((edit: weren't the diamonds the ones on the interrogation room?))

Matt came back out of the chapel. He was walking slowly now. The shoes were gettin to him. He bent over and took them off. his bare feet cool on the grass. He noticed something....like...waves coming off of everything. He took a step. For a moment, the darkness was gone in his eyes as he saw the vibrations go through the ground. He smiled. It looks like I can see...he thought.
Henry smiled sadly at her. He hugged her again. "No, no, one step at a time lass..." he said in a kind voice. A loving and fatherly voice.

Marcie smiled on the hug, she hadn't been treated like a child in a long time, it felt quiet nice "That's why i said i wouldn't do anything rash... matt will need to wait for me to join him under earth a bit longer" she said snickering and a lot more calm "I'm still a little overwhelmed, think i could have some tea before i leave?"

((lol it's better than what i was going to do...but i wass going more for a daredevil approach XD))
Matt was in the kitchen, putting a pot on. He was moving around with stocking feet. He was smiling brightly, being able to see mostly everything that went on. He felt the two walking into the house, and heard them talking. "I've already had tea on," he said.
Henry smiled, "Good job, lad." He walked into the kitchen and noticed something diffferent. "What's the matter, Thaddeus?" he asked.
Matt just smiled, "I"ll tell you later..."
