Kimi had set a couple of traps as she went into the forest. She deliberately made a couple of twigs crack to lure Sala towards her and into the traps. He should be able to avoid them. If not, he's either weaker than I thought or he's holding back...

((Oh dang, I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. I swore there was no new posts last time I checked.))
Sala heard the quiet snap of a twig in the distance. He darted toward the noise. Suddenly a branch swung at his head. He ducked backwards and avoided the makeshift trap with relative ease. He proceeded, more cautiously this time, toward the sound.
Avoid a few more makeshift traps, he finally caught sight of Kimi. Quietly he leapt up into a tree, preparing to pounce.
((I think it's getting close to time to end this or it could go on forever.))

((I'll end it, I'm kind of running out of ideas anyways...)) Kimi heard Sala behind her and smirked. He found me. Game's over. She stood and pretended not to notice him. "Man, this is taking too long, where is he?" She looked at her watch and tapped her foot.

Sala pulled out his knife and jumped from the tree limb, landing on Kimi and knocking her to the ground. He helf it to her throat for a few moments, before getting off her and sheathing it. "Not too shabby." he said.

Kimi chuckled and said "Glad you think so, but did you really need to knock me down? Appearing behind me with the knife to my neck works just as well. Give me a hand up will ya?" Still on the ground, she held out her hand.

Sala chuckled but said nothing as he reached out and pulled Kimi from the ground. "Where did you learn to fight so well?" he asked. He started walking back towards the house.

"My family was the sort where fighting was in our blood. Naturally, we were raised as fighters. You also tend to pick up some tricks during fights with others." Kimi said as she followed him back. "How about you? Where did you learn how to fight?"

Sala thought for a moment. Where had he learned to fight indeed? "Back when I lived in the forest plains of the south, fighting was a regular thing. I never really learned to fight, I suppose, I just kind of picked it up. Having faster reflexes and stronger muscles than a human doesn't hurt either."

"That's cool. But, was it really hard for you living there, having to avoid fights and decide whether or not to defend someone?" Kimi asked, walking casually looking up at the sky.

Sala thought for a moment. As they reached the edge of the trees he said, "Not really, I guess. It wasn't like random violence. You had your loyalties, and you stuck by them. Simple enough." Sala turned his as he walked, looking at Kimi. "You're a lot stronger than you look."

Kimi smiled and let out a little laugh, "I'm those cute but deadly kinds huh? But at least you know that I'm strong enough to rely on if you ever need some help. I'm also pretty smart too, so that's another factor you can add in."

Sala nodded and smiled a little. "That is a good thing to know. That's bound to come in handy sooner or later. And more likely sooner than later." They reached the doors they had come out of. They were still open.
((Again sorry for late response. Was on a vacation.))

((Sorry vacation too.))
"So what are you going to do now. Did I interrupt you earlier with my sudden request?" Kimi looked at the open doors and ask, "Um, did snow blow into the room? We shouldn't have left it open."

((Uhg, sorry it took so long... I'm just sort of at a loss as to what should happen next. It's extremely difficult to RP with only 2 people, even if it is 2 good people.))
Sala shook his head gently. "No, you didn't interrupt at all. Live training is always much better than practicing on dummies." Sala looked in the doors. There was a thin layer of snow near the door. "It looks like a little did. That's alright, it'll melt." Sala hung what little gear he had back on its hook. "Would you like to stay for dinner, or would you prefer to get home?"

"Thank you. I'd like to stay for dinner if it's not too much trouble." Kimi smiled gratefully. "Eating alone can be lonely. I'll help you cook or maybe I could clean up afterwards." She turned to face Sala and bowed, "Thanks for your hospitality."
