She smiled bright and yawned, nuzzling into his shoulder adn closing her eyes. "You mean I can't come find you, anyway?" she asked playfully. Rohan was one of the only friends she'd ever had, and the only boy friend she'd ever had that she'd gotten so attached to. He made her feel playful, something she hadn't been allowed to be very often.

Rohan smiled. "Can. I'm easily found if people know where to look." He stretched out, laying back down on the bedroll again. He had never imagined that he'd end up falling for another girl so soon...if at all. "So...where do you want to go tomorrow? There's a small creek not too far from here...and it's away from all the bad creatures and such."

In another part of the forest, Ray and Drake were taking a moments break from their daily sparring. Ray sat neatly on a fallen tree while Drake simply stretched out below one still standing. "We need to work on your sword technique. You're slow." The elf snorted at his comment. "I'm a mage. Magic is what I'm best at and you know it." Drake shifted then shut his eyes for a moment. "But what if you're taken by surprise? You need to be fast with a blade and you can't always count on your magic." Ray simply rolled her eyes and stood up. "I'm going to go find some more potions ingrediants.. I'll return shortly." As she walked off, Meir close behind, Drake just shook his head. "And I won't be drinking anything she gives me for a while."

Stopping short R'larin cursed that it wasn't night out, and listened with her long ears to the voices up ahead. They sounded alright enough, although bickering with each other, but regardless she pulled her saber from it's sheath at her side and approached carefully. Catching a fleeting glimpse of trailing skirt, R'larin focused on the only person left. "Oh." Sizing him, his armor, and his weapons up; she shook her head to clear it, "A human, how magnificent."

Drake sat there leaning against the large tree, his eyes still shut as his mind wondered. His ears, however, picked up on a slight movement not too far away. Either an animal or Ray trying to be sneaky. He didn't show any signs of hearing it, however, but he was prepared to jump up and strike if need be.

Ears twitching like mad, R'larin padded as silently as a shadow to get closer and take a better look at his weapons, and strangely moving armor. Hissing at how amazingly well kept it all seemed to be she stepped back on her heels and watched him. After awhile she steeled her eyes, swallowed her curiosity and spoke in deeper a tone than one would expect from one so small, "What is a human in such bulky armor, wearing two swords, doing in the middle of a forest?"

So it was neither that he expected. Drake tensed but didn't automatically jump up and draw his swords. Instead he remained casual in appearence. "Taking a break from sparring in which I've now been interupted. And what do you want? Here to steal or draw blood?" He sounded annoyed, in which he was since he never liked to be bothered when resting up unless the situation called for it.

Taking another step back she scowled, and lithely moved her sword to her left hand. "Typical human, thinks he's the reason I'm here." Rocking on her heels R'larin shifted to better make known the quiver of arrows, bow, and several daggers. "If you must know, you're blocking my way to my belongings."

Drake grumbled under his breath then slowly opened his eyes only to narrow them when looking toward the stranger. By her appearence, and pointed ears, he could tell she was yet another elf. Having one elf around him was more than enough. "This forest is big enough for you to find a different path. Do you tell the orcs and were-creatures that they're in you way as well? I'm not moving just because you said to."

Rolling her eyes, R'larin put her saber away, he was stupid but clearly not dangerous at the moment. In a huff she shrugged muttering, "Suit yourself." Pulling a soft bit of dirt out of a pouch on her belt, she threw it at the male's feet. Calling softly to it in her native tongue she waited patiently as a trap door opened beneath the humans feet. "I never said you were in my path, I said you were in my way."

"Way, path, whatever. Just get on your way and leave me be." He began to grumble again as she pushed himself to his feet, his height now obvious. Drake moved away from the elf, finding himself another tree to sit under while he waiting for Ray to cool off and return.

R'larin turned a dangerous, glowing eye, to the human and spluttered, "Be on my way?! I live here!" Crouching down to the door she opened it up and placed her slightly beat up bow in and replaced it with a beautifully taken care of one. Setting it on her back she closed the door and stood. Scowling she helped herself into the limbs of the tree and rested in a nest she had made a few days earlier.

Drake rolled his eyes, not really caring. He simply would have gotten up and left by now but Ray would return to this spot, get more pissed off because he left, and then he'd have that to deal with. So now he decided to just ignore the newcomer and wait.
After a few moments, Ray came waltzing back, chattering away in Elven to her familiar. When she noticed Drake's movement from one tree to another, she shook her head. "Prefer that tree over the other?" Drake simply ignored her question.

Eyes widening in shock the night elf drew her bow and knocked an arrow to it as she jumped down from the tree. Eyes sparking in anger she growled like a feral cat at the new comer. This was clearly not a blood elf, but she had nothing else to compare her to so she went with her first instinct. "Blood elf!" Shouting at the newcomer she held her weapon up fiercely and growled again.

Just as soon as she had heard the knocking of an arrow, Ray and spun around, casting a quick spell to attack. In her hand sat a large ball of fire, spinning and spitting madly. Drake was also on his feet, both swords drawn and ready. Ray had never seen a blood elf before...nor the kind of elf before her. "I'm no blood elf!" Her gold eyes glittered but she held off throwing the flaming sphere.
