Zach fidgeted slightly. He was nervous. He had no idea what was up with Sam. 'I thought'd she'd be happy that I was leaving,' he thought as he gave her a quick glance.

Zach sighed before geaving her a weary smile. "That's okay. I wasn't expecting much anyway," he frowned a bit. "Hey, wasn't Andrew with you?" he asked curiously.

"We were looking for you and so whenever I saw you I went after you. He is back there somewhere." Sam tilted her head in the direction in which she came from.

Zach blinked. "Why were you guys looking for me anyway? I thought you were gonna hang out more," he replied, thouroughly confused.

"It was at lunch when I made the sad realization that I was being thoroughly stupid." Sam said, did Zack think Andrew and her were on a date? "I dragged him into Phillip's because I was hungry."

Zach shook his head. That guy couldn't be Andrew. He blinked as he heard Sam speak. "Lunch time? That's about the same time I decided to go back home," he said shrugging. He glanced down at his phone. He hadn't placed it back in his pocket yet. 'Either I'm really upset or I'm obsessed with Sandy,' he thought to himself quietly.

"We spent at least 45 minutes chasing you around here. Andrew thought you might be leaving, we decided to find you so I could apologize." Sam tried to explain as much as she could.

Zach glanced up as he carefully placed his phone back in his pocket. "45 minutes? Don't tell me I was using my cell for that long..." he mumbled quietly. "...Wait, why are you apologizing? I'm the one that made you cry," remarked Zach obviously confused. 'Hardly anyone apologizes to me...' he thought to himself.

"Because I know what would happen, we would never talk to each other again. You would go home, delete my number off of your cell phone not come back next summer and we would never see each other again." Sam said extending her legs and laying back on the sand.

Zach blinked slightly before sighing. "Well... You're right. That's what I would've done," he said softly as he fingered his cell. "...I'm not so sure what I'm gonna do now," he remarked as he took out his cell again. He examined it for a while before sighing again. "Sandy sounded so happy when I told her I was coming home..."

"Sandy's my best friend," he mumbled quietly. "She's always been there for me. Never ditched me once," he sighed. "She even stood by me even though her relationship with Matt could've ended because of me," he smiled lightly at the memory.
