Flying.. down?? Deimos eyes went down again. That.. that was a long way down. He gulped, shaking his head to calm himself. Lenore was watching. He.. He had to do this. He was a Captain.
Letting go of the tree, he spread out his cloak, catching the wind inside it. He began to descend, faster, then fast. TOO FAST!!
'Push the air forward in your cloak!
Deimos did so and instead of shooting downwards, he went forawrds, much faster than before. OHH. So that was the trick. He continued down, manipulating the air inside his cloak to level him to the ground, makign his descent slower, slower, until he landed on his face, falling from onto a foot above the ground.

"Are you alright?" Deimos descent was very good, but that landing looked painful

"I'm fine.." He said through a mouthful of dirt, as he sat up, spitting the dirt out with wa yelch sound. "I'm fine." He repeated, brushing off the starts of a nosebleed from his lips as well.

"Here" with a small spell he mended the bleed and helped brushing off the dirt from Deimos' clothes
"That was a great flight by the way. Do you think you can do it again, but this time flying upwards?"

Deimos pulled away from Jabir's help. "I'm fine." He repeated again. He didn't need anyone's help. Looking up at the tree, he spotted the branch where Lenore was perched. That'd be his target.
He opened his cloak, filling it with air and he set off. Shoving the air forward he shot upwards towards the branch, rishing quickly, too quickly. He tried to slow down, but couldn't. He let go of the cloak, his ahdn once more reaching for the branch and he clung to it, dangling slightly beside Lenore.

Jabir grumbled at Deimos reaction, but didn't said anything. He watched as he struggled to get on the branch, not helping him this time
"Okay. You two now try to fly to that branch first, then to that one" he pointed to 2 other trees, each further and higher than the last "and finally fly back down here " he pointed to the mushroom rock Lenore had used previewsly "If you get it right you may go"

Deimos pulled himself up, or at least he tried. Air magic took a lot more out of him than fire magic did. He panted slightly adn tried again, only to remain both hands gripped tightly onto the branch. He was weak now, but he'd never say it, or even admit it.

Cracking her knuckles and looking at the course with some apprehension, Lenore shook off her nerves and spread out her arms. Leaping from the branch without a word, she flapped a few times to keep herself moving up and forward. She landed on the first branch and perched a moment to rest before launching herself off again, silent as a shadow in her focused concentration.
Flapping hard with long, sweeping motions, she swooped upwards and wobbled a bit, but regained her balance as best she could. The branch was almost close enough to touch -
"UNF!"
With a grunt of exertion, Lenore flapped her arms again, hard, and landed on the branch a little unsteadily. Gripping the branch with her pliable toes tightly, she wavered slightly as she perched and looked around.
"I...I made it..."
She'd never gotten so high before on her own. Grinning like a fool and laughing, she spread her arms and dove off the branch smoothly, adjusting her tail and wings here and there to correct her flight path. She landed on the mushroom-thing with intentional gusto, sweeping her arms up and flappin rapidly, buffets of air whooshing through the room. She landed rather smoothly, sinking into a half-kneel and folding her wings back proudly.
"Finished."

Deimos grunted. He would have cheered, but he was still trying to pull himself up onto the branch. A few failed attempts later he got onto it, panting. Gods he was tired.
'I can do the course for you, if you're too tired.'
Oh, hell no. Deimos retorted, Erebus voice fillign him with energy and determination. He swept open his cloak, filled it with air and lauched himself from the branch. He willthe air forwards and upawrds and it went, he was rising up, slowly, but rising. He landed on the first branch weakly, kneeling to grasp onto it.
Next one.. He spread it open again, repeating the process, btu he felt the toll on his body stronger this time. Grunting as he continued up, he dind't have enough altitude to get quite to the branch, but grasped it and swung himself up while he still had strength.
It was all downhill from here. Opening his cloak a third time he jumped, filign it just a smidge and glided downwards to the mushroom. He didn't bother to fly downwards. He landed on the mushroom, falling to his knees immediatly as his feet hit it, panting. Gods he was so tired..

"Very good you two, very good" Jabir was really pleased. They were far from perfect, but they achieved a lot in little time
"I'm really proud of you. Now go rest, regain your strengths and keep practicing"
The room slowly started to return to its original shape, the trees and branches shrinking and disapearing into the walls, the white moss melting and receading back into the floor, and the furniture reappearing into its proper place
Only then Jabir remembered "Oh! Deimos can I talk with for a minute?"

Deimos looked up and nodded, still panting. He couldn't talk much yet though, he was still catching his breath. He tried to stand up, but wobbled, falling harshly onto his bum.

Deimos wasn't ashamed of this. He nodded. "He was hurting.." He panted.. "Mother..." He said, with as much defiance as he could muster in his exhausted state.

He sighed "But that's not the problem. The thing is that guy tried to sue us and have the center close down for good. Can you imagine what would happen if this occured?"
