"Oh, Violet, shut up and give some people a chance!" Vanessa said, on her last nerve with Violet. She turned to Leila. "I'll be right back, wait here." Vanessa said kindly. Then, she crouched down, and, without knowing that she had any sort of power to do this, she burst up into the sky, air sraying from the bottom of her feet. When she reached the angel, she smiled "Sorry about her." Vanessa said, pointing to Violet down on the ground. "Why don't you come down?"

Holly gave Dream a warm grin. "Okay, thanks for letting me know that. I'm Holly Weis."
With a somewhat confused interest, she watched the drama unfold beneath her, not commenting on anything. She noticed the young girl coming up towards her
She blinked at the sudden appearance of Vanessa. She cocked her head to the side and giggled, "Well, since everyone's so insistent. I'm guessing I shouldn't go near that one, huh?" Holly motioned to Violet.

Haucon listened to Violet's speech and shook his head. "You have got sunglasses on..." he said dragging on the cigarette. He gave up and went back to Leila. "I don't get her at all." he said under his breath. Leila had a pensive look on her face and was looking apprehensively toward the sky. "Vanessa seems to be mood swingy too..." he paused, Leila seemed distracted. "You ok?" Haucon asked concern edging into his voice.

"Probably not." He smiled. "Nice to meet you, Holly. I'm Dream Starr." Flying up to her, he extended his hand in welcome. "It's my job to make sure that Violet - that's the demon in question, by the way - doesn't try to kill you."

"Huh? Oh...Violet's been like that since I met her. I assume it is due to her chaotic nature." Leila scratched at a random spot on her arm. "I'm fine. I was just wondering if what Violet said was true...about that angel possibly hate me..."

Haucon laughed. "Oh thank gods that's all!" he smiled. He'd felt a strange tension when she'd been worried. "Don't worry." he said standing up. "I shall protect you." he said puffing his chest out. He exhaled and collapsed back and sat down. "See, Violet's a pessimist...always looks for the bad in people, but something tells me that angels by nature are optimists, so I wouldn't worry, and besides, we won't let anything happen to you."

A terrible blush ran across Leila's face as she looked away in an attempt to hide it. She bit her lip, the urge feeling absolutely terrible right now. She was shaking a bit, but she hope he didn't notice.

Haucon stared up at the angel, Vanessa, and Dream, sheilding his eyes from the sun. "I wish they'd come down soon...I hate being land locked like this." He looked over at Leila, who was shaking uncontrollably. "Oi. Are you laughing? Or crying?" he said pulling on her shoulder.

"Neither," came her voice in an unearthly hiss. A strange glow was coming from her eyes now, her pupils merely cat-like slits. But the look on her face was one of worry. She didn't want to give in to it...not now...not with him. "I told you what a succubus does, and the need to fulfill is here. Now." Part of her wanted to drag him into the cave and have her way with him. Another part...wanted something else entirely.

Dream noticed a disturbance down below. "Um... I'll be back in a little while." He dropped down back onto the beach, and walked towards Leila, concerned. "Are you alright?"

Haucon looked at her eyes and knew something radical was happening. He scooted backward in the sand. "Leila." he said trying to distract her. "Look, I..." the look on her face scared him. "I care about you alot. And I..." he paused unsure of how to say this, but knowing the words would have to come quickly. "I want to be with you, but not in this way." he spat out suddenly. "I don't want it to just be because of what you are, I want it to be you. I don't want you to do this to yourself." he said finally.

Leila looked confusedly from Haucon to Dream. "I don't want to be this way...I don't want to be what I am!" she screamed in frustration. "I'm...I'm not doing anything to myself...why don't you understand...? I don't want it to be like this. I can't...this will never...I'm such a fool." She suddenly took off past them, heading into the city.

Haucon looked at Dream. "I'll take care of this." he said nodding toward Leila. "We'll be back as soon as possible alright?" and with that he was off running toward her, across the sand. His feet soon hit pavement, as he chased after her.

Leila could sense him following her; exactly what she didn't want. Or is it what he wanted? To follow her and....? And do what? She didn't want to think about it. She ran between a few buildings and hid in a tight spot between two dumpsters, sending a mirage running ahead, hoping it would fool him. Just in case, she placed a hidden one inside one of the abandoned buildings.
