Oh, hell-
WHACK. Well dammit, that was great. Now he was down on one knee. But he fought through the pain and decided that one good turn deserved another. The Draconian would suddenly find that same sheath knocked hard into the outside of his left knee, aiming to take him down as well.
"I'm not so easily beaten..."

The leather armor didn't protect that area of his body, and though his scales absorbed some of the impact, his knee still buckled as he was in the process of drawing his blade back for a stab. He didn't go down, but he was distracted for the moment.

His leg stopped hurting.
Now!
He rammed forward again while the Draconian was distracted, going for a double-leg takedown. The legs were suddenly grabed as he stood up, ramming his right shoulder into his opponent. Hopefully, that would do something more than bruise him, and the opponent would be dumped on his back.
Success would lead to a mount, which would lead to checkmate as he positioned his sword point three inches above Lenth's head.

Hugin the Raven His leg stopped hurting.
Lenth was caught off-guard, and in his surprise, he let go of Daniel's hand as they toppled to the floor. Still, he was quick to recover, and even as Daniel mounted him and brought the sword down towards his skull, the tip of the young Draconian's blade was pressing lightly against his opponent's throat. Not checkmate. Stalemate. " Stop," stated Trakkan. Lenth paused, and lowered his blade. " I have seen enough." He looked at Captain Seline, who had been waiting patiently on the sidelines as the sparring match had been conducted, and said, " Captain, take them to the armory, and see that they are equipped with appropriate weapons and armor." Then he looked at his son, and nodded once. " You did well, my son, you may leave now." A smile tugged at the corner of Lenth's mouth, and he bowed before exiting the room. Trakkan started to return to discussing the defense of the village, when a soldier suddenly walked into the room, and straight up to Trakkan, whispering something in his ear. Trakkan's expression hardened, and after a bit, he said, " It seems we have a situation. Some sort of creature appeared in the midst of the village. It does not seem to be one of the undead beings that have attacked us, nor has it taken any lives so far. From what I hear, it also spoke our language fluently. However, it evaded capture through the use of magic, and has yet to be found. My presence, and that of a priest's as well, is requested." As he said this, he took his helmet -- a truly fearsome looking piece of craftsmanship, inlaid with intricate designs and forged to look as it it were a weapon itself -- and placed it over his head. Then he reached under the table, and produced an enormous sword; it almost six feet long, a foot wide, and looked as if it weighed a couple hundred pounds. He proceeded to strap the monstrous weapon to his back. Now, wearing all his armor, sporting his sword, and standing nearly nine feet tall, he was a truly awesome sight to behold. " I will attend to this matter. Carry on," he said to the other officers, and made his way out the door.

"Goddamn," One of the soldiers whispered. The greatsword was truly a sight to behold, but the view of the fully-armored Noble was even more of an impressive display. "Whoever it is, they're about to get a beat-down, hardcore style."
Daniel rolled his eyes and said, "While I would love to see that, we have business to tend to and zombies to kill. Load up." With that, they made their way towards the armory.

The armory was located in the basement of that very same building. Walking in, the team would see wooden racks for many kinds of weapons lining the wall (most were empty, in light of the current crisis). Seline led them over to a section containing knives and shortswords, the only Draconian-sized weapons she assumed that they could handle properly. Once they got that sorted out, she took them to an adjacent room that housed all the armor.
As she gestured toward the area at the far end of the room, she said, "Look among the adolescent armor. It's the smallest size we have. Now, I apologize, but you must excuse me."
With that, Seline bowed her head, and left them to their own devices. She had to return to her duties.

And they began picking things out. It was all here, from two and a half foot long machetes to some seriously sharp longswords, to rapiers and other things. The big, heavy weapons were the order of the day though. It wouldn't be right to try and use a needle when a butcher knife was needed. Each of the four guards had one machete, while Daniel had a b*****d sword, sheathed behind him.
They were pretty much set to go here.
As for the armor, they each found something that fit them quite well, to be honest. Then again, if this were the armor for kids...
"Let's get our asses moving. These zombies won't know what hit 'em. We're going to be the Delta Force for these guys, the unexpected element. Let's fight like it."
They nodded and headed back upstairs. It was time to party.

As they emerged outside once again and headed for the perimeter outside of the village, they drew more than a few looks from every Draconian they passed. But each look was the same.
Complete, utter bewilderment.
After a bit, they passed into the evacuated village outskirts, and as they approached the perimeter, they were halted by a pair of Guardians. After a few moments of incredulous staring, they asked the team what their business was out here.
The ghostly curtain of fog was visible only a few dozen feet behind them.

"We're here," Daniel said, "To take care of the pest problem. We promise not to come back in too much of a state of gore."
Hopefully, with no gore at all besides that of the enemy.

"Yes, I've been trying to take care of the infestation myself but due that my self the superstitious native had mistaken me for a demon when they first saw me and I had to flee." whispered a man who was manipulating the light around him using his species natural Photokinetic abilities to bend the light around him in a way that would him invisible. He was trained to such a level that he could manipulate the light in to this form instictively and had no reason to concentrate for longer then it takes to manipulate the light once. He had been instinctively been manipulating the light for hours now and his arm had recently grown back. The man had found himself here over the hours that passed by since he had been seen by some draconian and didn't want any hostility after all he was just a peaceful alien who's space faring vessle had crashed on this island. He was so far from home and had no way to contact either his allies on earth or his own kind.

Yeah, well that was a bad idea. They pulled swords.
"Identify yourself," one of the soldiers said, "We won't hesitate to kick your a**."
Well this wasn't any good. And so near the combat zone, too. What to do...

And in the presence of a pair of soldiers, too? This guy was apparently feeling real lucky today.
One drew a sword, while the other hefted a spear. Both sported shields, which they raised in front of them as they searched their surroundings for the source of the disembodied voice. Word had already reached them of some sort of demon that could make itself invisible running loose in the village . . .

Well this wasn't any good. And so near the combat zone, too. What to do... I am Prot the eldest child of Admiral Steiracus. I come from a planet far from this galaxy. My ship crash landed on Gaia while I was trying to land in a high concealed building in the tundra of Guldor which my allies operate. I was attacked by a Vorscan Bloodship. My ship is designed to break apart on the sub molecular level when damged beyond hope of repair, so I am afraid I have no way to leave Gaia, but Ie you can't afford to waste time beating up a passivist like myself when their are zombies surrounding us. I assure you more of a Scientist and Physician then a warrior despite being the heir to one of my planets few remaining military houses." Prot replied. ((If worst comes to worst and I can always do the that other light trick again.))

"Well, Prot," Daniel said with a raised eyebrow, "I'm sure we could work something out if you just showed yourself. Apparently, you don't want to be in this situation any more than we do... so just drop the camouflage and show yourself."
That was all the guy had to do, really. Had he done that in the first place, they wouldn't have pulled steel. Daniel could be reasonable. Those guarding him were not, though. Being assholes to a possible threat was their job; they were here to keep the emmisary safe, not play footsies.
