"Oh, Julian, love! I didn't know you swung that way!" Rabid pretended to faint, bringing Crow down with her.
"Nope, you're stuck with it," Björn nodded.
Hellis had pulled three juggling balls from intangibility and was now...well...juggling them. At the peak, they disappeared, and then reappeared as they fell into his hands.
Well, what else were you going to learn in a government coup de etat?!

"There's a lot you don't know about me, love," Julian said, eyes fluttering open and looking over at Rabid in mock-innocence. "But I swear, I can explain about the Russian tortoise in the closet..."
Crow, giggling and splayed over the floor, gave a gasp.
"JULIAN! That's supposed to be secret! You've compromised national security."
"It was bound to come out sometime!"
Ethan, watching Hellis in further fascination, glanced around shiftily and hunched over, removing a knife from it's sheath. He stabbed at the air once or twice, trying to make it disappear, and then carelessly pushed it forward trying not to think of it. It disappeared and his eyes widened, and his jaw dropped as he took it back and repeated the process over and over.
"Wow..."

"...oh, god. That's the last time you see any action." Rabid forced a shudder and scampered away to hide behind Björn, who simply laughed and patted her head.
Hellis watched Ethan in amusement and then hunched forward, grabbing Ethan's wrists once the knife had reaced intangibility. He held up one finger, signaling for him to wait.

Julian gave a gasp and covered his face with his hands in mock heartbreak. Crow just tutted.
"See what you do, perv?" she asked, sitting beside Liam and ignoring the distinct 'oof!' that came out of her brother as he tried to breathe.
"Alas," Julian said wryly, giving up trying to escape under the weight of two people.
Ethan blinked in confusion, then nodded, despite how badly he wanted to keep playing with this strange new ability. Finally, he wasn't just a mundane person anymore He had...er....magical atmosphere storage. That was instantly awesome.

Rabid giggled and scampered back, joining the two significantly smaller people. She held herself up somewhat with her legs and arms, though, so as to not actually crush Julian.
That wouldn't be cool.
Hellis bit his lower lip and moved forward slowly, watching what he knew to be his atmospheric threshold. Once his and Ethan's met, he pulled back...
...and pulled Ethan's knife from the air, holding it out to him.
"Yeaaaah. Occasionally you'll find other people's stuff..."

"Hai! I'm not a couch!"
Crow beeped Julian's nose, tutting.
"Yes you are! Don't deny it."
Julian sighed, trying to look threatening.
"If something snaps or squishes, you owe me a dollar," he said. Crow pushed his head down again easily.
"There there, Yeh'alo. There there."
"I'M NOT TINY GAWD CROW DON'T CALL ME THAT!"
Crow giggled and fell against Liam, landing in his lap.
Ethan, smiling wide as he took the knife back, threw it back into intangibility and took it out again just as fast. spinning it in his fingers.
"That's...wow, that's cool," he said.

"I'm glad you're so amused by natural Vavvian occurances," Björn snickered and shook his head.
"Awww. My poor baby. It's okay. I'm still on your side."
Liam laughed and pet Crow as if she was some kind of belly-up dog.

"It's just, so...so..." Ethan said, his excitement making him stumble over his words again. "Everyone else can do something. Now I can too. It's neat."
Julian sniffled.
"She's so mean to me, you see? First time we ever met she ran me down and nearly broke my leg."
Crow, snuggling against Liam, blew a raspberry eloquently.
"Pfft. I was only running from Father. YOU got in the way, thank you very much. I was trying to hurdle over you."
"You suck at jumping I hope you know."
"Mm. I know...I'm still a faster runner, though."
"Are not!"
"Are tooooo. You suck at running. Wimp."

"Yeah, well, I almost tore your throat out," Rabid nodded sagely, "and we know how that worked out." She leaned over and kissed Julian's forehead briefly.
Liam laughed, and then nearly lost his balance as the train screeched to a halt.
"HGGN. Jeezum."

Julian tried to remember when they'd first met and found the memory splintered, unsure. He shrugged and grinned anyway, taking her word for it.
"I was being a jerk, I deserved it," he said easily, heavily assuming.
Crow clutched Liam in surprise, bolting up.
"Whuzzat?"
Ethan laughed.
"The train stopped, Crow. Take it easy."
Crow sniffed.
"I've never been on a train before, sue me..." she said, sticking her tongue out at Ethan.

Björn shouted a quick thanks to Joe and pried the train car door open, walking casually into the warehouse and through the portal...but a few moments later and just as suddenly, he turned and grabbed the edges of the portal, looking very distraught.
"...this is...not our room."
"What...?" Rabid asked carefully as she approached.

"Huh?" Crow said, clinging to Liam's arm. "Maybe the portal's busted?"
Julian trailed after Rabid, head tilted slightly to one side. Was it a trap? A mistake with the portal?

Rabid shoved her way into the portal and...found herself standing in the hallways outside of her room.
"Björn. You're insane. Yes it is." She reached forward and pulled the door open...and found herself staring at a rather worn-looking porch.
"UM!" she yelped and slammed the door.
"Told you."

"A little?" he asked.
"Mmhmm."

Ike approached the door cautiously and opened it slowly. Yep. Still a porch.
"Hey!" he cried suddenly, "There's a note on the door!" He rushed across the porch and tore a piece of paper from a nail. He rushed back to the group and read.
"Please accept this small gift as a token of our regret. Regret, that is, of our sister being an unsavory little b***h," he snorted with laughter then and continued, "We will not accept 'no' as an answer." He looked up.
"Looks like it's from the Elfy people, there." The boy reached out and handed the note to Rabid, who read it over, just in case.
Clemmie suddenly stepped from the front door, looking shell-shocked.
"I'm...glad you're back," she nodded, giving a dazed smile, "Something happened to the room."
"Oh my..."
