((Headed to Fisherman's Horizon. It's more of a side story of mine than anything. Nothing seems to be happening with Balamb, because the headmaster doesn't exist. u_u))
A soldier stopped before the Seer, saluting to him. The man in uniform was young, and he stuttered in speech. "S-sir. We've arrived in port. I understand we are to remain aboard ship?"
"You understand correctly." Snapped the cloaked figure. "The only reason you and the others are here is to protect this ship..nothing more." Davrick briefly dived into the mind of the soldier, seeing now that the boy had family in the area that he wished to see. Family...family does not exist. Davrick thought to himself. "Your loyalties...are far too embedded with your own blood. You should know that your only loyalties belong to the sorceress. All else is meaningless. You'd best remember that, first class private."
The soldier went pale and nodded to the cloaked entity. "Y-yes..yes, sir." Davrick laughed cruely as he saw images run through the young soldier's mind, believing the worst of punishments awaited him. "Tell me...Do you know where the Shards live?..." he asked, hiding his interest. The soldier nodded, remarking with "You mean the old pirate's house? Yeaah..I-I know where that is. I w-was friends with Enji Shard, I don't know what happened to him."
Davrick pushed his hood away, allowing the sunlight to touch his unworldly pale skin. The Seer needed only one more thing from this pawn. A permanent blueprint of Fisherman's Horizon. To do that, he needed to steal those memories. Kalo stepped towards the soldier, placing the palm of his hand to the young soldier's forehead abruptly. Before the soldier could respond in any matter he became paralyzed, a great numbness swept through his body as his mind began to leave him. The soldier instantly became limp and fell to the ground, void of movement at the point of contact with the floor.

((continuing after the Training Center))
Vikki began a slow stroll towards Balamb. With a quick glance to Shai beside her, Vikki wondered why she had chosen to come with her and not one of the other students. Not that she minded at all. "So how are you holdin' up, Shai?"

*Sigma sighed and walked away from the Garden, toward the sunset. His outfit was still ripped and burned, but he didn't care, he just wanted some time alone. He kept walking, not really caring where he was heading. He kept his hands behind his head, looking up at the darkening sky. He shook his head and continued walking, almost zombielike.*

((grrr deserted again))
Vikki continued on towards Balamb. The walk was refreshing as the breeze kicked up slightly across the path, playing with the stands of her jet black hair. With an absent movement, Vikki reached up and pulled the elastic from her hair and it dropped around her shoulders. She smiled to herself as the wind kicked up again and raced through her hair and around her body.
When she reached the town, Vikki immediatly went to the docks. No one was there and all the boats were pulled out, most likely on some sort of adventure, whether fishing or fighting. The dock was her favorite part of the town, as well as the beach just of to the side of it. It was always so peaceful and serene that she just always felt relaxed when she visited.
She sat down on the farthest point and pulled off her boots and socks. I should really get a pair of sandals... Vikki thought to herself and lightly dipped her toes in the ocean water. The chill ran through her body and made every nerve in her body tingle, then relax, and she put the rest of her feet to her ankles into the cool embrace of the sea.

*Sigma looked up as the sun began to rise again. How long had been walking? He shook his head, not really caring, still walking along the beach, the sand between his toes, the water hitting his feet. He stopped for a moment and simply stared at the sunrise. He looked to his tattered clothes and shook his head.* Baram... If we meet again, I'll have to kill you. Do you think you could live with that? *he hears a noise and turns around, seeing a man dressed in a blue cloak, rubbing his eyes a bit* Do you need something?
Man: Ah, Thanatos, you're still alive I see, and got an upgrade. Why don't you come back to us? *Sigma shakes his head and tosses sand back at the cloaked man.* Because I have friends here, friends that need me. Man: And so we're not friends anymore? *Sigma shrugs* Baram... you deserted me. How can I trust someone who was alive but never seeked me out? Man: Oh don't worry, seeked you out Thanatos. We're brothers, partners in arms. I realized it was wrong to run away from the research facility, they're the only ones who truly know how to treat us. We're superior, you could be my partner in Adel's army, just like we were partners in crime a long time ago. *Sigma shakes his head* Baram... I don't want to see you again. If I see you again, I'll have to raise this arm in defense of my friends here at the Garden. Oh and, get over yourself. *with that Sigma stood up and waded into the water, not sure what he was going to do.*

((awwww))
A small wind kicked up around the dock, causing Vikki's hair to flutter around her. She leaned into the moving air and closed her eyes, enjoying the caress and allowing the tingling sensation to creep along under her skin. It was refreshing after everything that had gone on in the past while. Once the breeze had finished playing with her hair and moved on, Vikki leaned back on her elbows, keeping her toes in the water.
She wondered what everyone else was doing back at the Garden, debating on whether to return soon or to stay in Balamb a little while longer. The sea was so inviting, so relaxing, that it was hard to leave the dock. Vikki watched as the sun began to peak over the horizon, casting a pinkish orange glow across the ripples of the water. These were the moments that she lived for.

*Sigma looked up at the sky, wading in the beach toward Balamb. Maybe there he could get something accomplished. He wasn't doing it here. When he finally made it to Balamb, he looked around. His clothes were ripped and singed, his chest totally uncovered, along with his arm. Maybe this wasn't such a great idea. He looked like a freak. Hustling past all the houses he made his way to the docks.*

((hey Shai, just make your way to the docks and we'll chill together))
Vikki stood up slowly after the sun had rizen above the ocean. With a tiny shake of her toes, the water beaded off of them and she slid them back into her oversized boots. She thought about going back to the house, but it was already such a nice day out that Vikki decided to stay for a while longer.
You need this, Vikki... Pandemonium echoed softly in her head. For his size and strength, he was very soothing. Stress is weighing on you, and therefore on us. We all need it. Just rest a while.
Moomba gave an agreeing squeek and her mind was made. She gathered her things close to her and leaned against the post behind her, letting the sunbeams caress her face and the wind dance through her hair.

*Sigma heard voices at the docks but didn't worry too much on them. Damnit, the ships were all gone. He walked to the end of one of the docks and looked out over the water, his body forming an L with the ground, the way the sun was forming. He closed his eyes, letting the salty wind blow in his face.* Sigma... get a hold of yourself.
