[Er.. her eyes are red too.]

If Aome had enough strength, she would have smacked him one in the face. She had generally noticed he looked better, but right now she really couldnt careless.

"If you want me to forgive you, it isnt going to happen," she glared at him fully. "What were you thinking?!?!" her voice was strained, and now she couldnt help the tears coming to her one eye. She brought her hand up to her face again, feeling the bandages.

"Oh, I didn't come looking for forgiveness. I came to give thanks. Your chakra production eye was just was I needed to give my body the lift it deserved. I wanted you to know how greatful I am. And that it still exists within me. If you want it back, come and kill me. If you can. Of course, if you can't, I might just make you one of us." With a laugh, he began to head from the doorway.

She managed a glare through her tears. It was weird using only one eye to express herself, but she was slowly getting used to it already.

"I will kill you, there is no way you are this other one. I will protect it with my life," as Aome declared that, she gently places her fingers over her good eye. Then she looked back at him with her best heated glare. "Tell me your name so I can hunt you down."

"Rico....Rico Talim...search me out if you ever want to be whole again..." with a laugh, he was off.

Masaru slowly walked to the hospital with a new mission at hand. His goal was help his friend who was very ill. Thinking it would be nice to give his friend flowers he stepped outside his house. As he was walking along, he noticed a flower shop. At the time his pockets were empty so he secretly borrowed some pink roses with his quick hands. He managed to grab about 6 flowers in all then held them to his side. He quickly looked back over his shoulder to see if the shop keeper noticed. The shop keeper didnt noticed so he nonchantly continued his way to the hospital.

As he entered the hospital to find his friend. Masaru waited in a line to ask a nurse to give him directions.

Kimiko walked swiftly to the front area of the hospital. She'd just finished with her last patient for the day and was more than ready to take a break. Her chakra reserves had pretty much had it. She noticed the line at the front desk and sighed. She'd better help out some. She offered a small smile to the overworked nurse as she looked around. She spotted a boy with flowers in his hand waiting patiently in line. His problem would probably be quick and easy. Her voice shot out, "You, boy! Come here." Although the words sounded harsh, her tone of voice took most of the sting out. And the smile hovering on her lips destroyed the image of a crabby nurse. "What did you need?"

Cerbi let out her biggest sigh yet. She hated this place more than she ever thought she ever could. Even though she wasnt here for any kind of appointment, she was still in there. Bad memories always seemed to be attached here, and that very foreboding made her want to leave as soon as possible.

In one of the resting rooms, Aome was sitting up on her bed, staring at her hands intently. Even though she only had one eye, could she before strong enough to train? Could she overcome this physical set back? Aome was still a little light headed from losing so much chakra in one go, but she needed to clear her head. She stood up and grabbed her coat. The one eyed girl left the room, and wondered through the hallways, and happened to spot Cerbi, who noticed her back.

"Ah, it's you! How are you?" Cerbi asked, a friendly grin on her face. Aome looked back a little sheepish. Her parents had told her about the hokage, and she was sure this person was her. She had no idea why she thought it, she didnt sense a large amount of chakra or anything, Cerbi just seemed to give off some quality.

"Hai, hokage-sama!" she blurted, bowing so deeply she was parrallel with the ground. Cerbi almost laughed at the seemingly shy girl. Gently, Cerbi reached out and ruffled the girls hair.

"Listen, Cerbi is my name, use it, alright?" she scolded softly, the grin never leaving her face. Aome looked up to the leader and gave her a small smile back. "Now, if you need me, I'll be at my office, alright? Dont be afraid to come over! I love company."

With that, Cerbi left, and Aome watched after her. Maybe she would visit the hokage. As soon as she got better, she would go and ask Cerbi about starting at the academy.

Aome had many medical nin look after her the next day. She had been healed enough so she could leave, but the doctors had informed her that she should stay and get tests done. Aome declined, however, because she wanted to get trained right away. She picked up her stuff, and headed towards the hokage's office, planning to remeet the hokage which had saved her life.

Kasai suddenly woke up in a room, with blinds open and bright rays of light streaming in. Kasai couldn’t remember anything happening after the knives dropped toward his head. “HOLY CRAP! I’m gonna kill that bird!!!” yelled Kasai. Then he stopped. He realized that nothing on his body hurt at all, and he felt good as new. His only logical conclusion is that he died. “CRAP! Dang it, I didn’t get to get back at the bird yet…”

((It's still night. So you were just unconscious for a few hours.))

A Hyuuga nurse stared at Kasai, a bored look in her eyes as she set down a tray of food - tea, light biscuts and all, beside his bed. "Awake already, hn? You shouldn't move around too much." Were her simple words. "Quite a bit of blood loss. You're lucky my shift ended late and I chanced by. Anyways...what in the world were you doing to irritate one of the messenger-nins' birds? They're still shinobi animals and perfectly capable to defend themselves, despite their looks."

“…wait, I’m not dead? So wait… what exactly happened to me?” mumbled Kasai. His stomach growled, letting out a small spasm throughout his body. “Uggh… could you hand me some of those biscuits?” he muttered. He was still for a moment, taking in all that the nurse said. “What was that bird doing at my window anyways? Is taking a dump on my window their way of delivering a message?”

"Right. You're dead and the afterlife is a hospital room." The Hyuuga kunoichi's tone was filled with sarcasm. After a long moment, the Hyuuga nurse crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow. "How am I supposed to know? Do I look like a messenger-nin?" Which, all in all, was a fair answer considering she was a medic-nin.

"Though I do wonder how they came by the knives. Each blacksmith have their own way of branding; Nyame-sama is Konoha's master blacksmith...those knives seemed to have come from her shop." But with that said, the Hyuuga woman shook her head slightly and picked up Kasai's tray, setting it on his lap.

"Never mind that. Just eat and get yourself some rest. You may stay here tonight; I'll keep the water to that bathroom next door available. The person working the next shift is already here; but he just watches the doors. If you need anything, use that telephone to call him."

"Okay, thanks." Kasai reached for one of the biscuits and wolfed it down. He ate a couple more in the same manner, and then began to slow down a bit. Hmm… maybe I should go take a visit to the blacksmith’s shop sometime. I need some new knives anyways… He stretched and yawned. “Uggh. Another long night without anything to do,” muttered Kasai. He turned over and fluffed his pillow up a bit, and then laid down to rest.

When Kasai finally woke up, the sun was starting to rise over the horizon. The bright rays of light turned the dark sky into a portrait of beautiful bright colors of pink, orange, and blue. Kasai rubbed his eyes and stared out the window towards the magnificent sky. ((sorry, had another sentimental moment)) He clambered of the bed and slunk over to the bathroom where he washed his face and ran water over his hair, straightening it (slightly). Then he stretched and yawned, and started off towards the Academy.

With the current shortage of medic-nins, the Hyuuga clan had grudgingly been dragged to active duty. Medic-nin duty, sentry duty, blacksmith duty...as much as they didn't quite like the idea of the clan being used so practically...the remaining Council of Elders argued in times like these, Konoha village needed all the efficient workers they could get. And who's the only clan that doesn't fool around while on duty? Nara seemed to enjoy cloud gazing to some degree... Akimichis would sneak off for snack breaks...Yamanakas would take time to go flower arranging...and Senjus, kami-sama knows it'll be lucky if they didn't accidentally destroy something while on duty...

Lilith sat at the front desk, pale eyes in an expression of utter boredom...before her eyes widened and the Hyuuga teenager sat up in shock - a ball of pure white fur has shot from the glass doors and clamored onto her desk. "Lailah...?" She murmured slowly, recognizing her clansman's pet wolf pup.

"Arf! Arf - aroooooooouu!" Said Lailah.

"Huh?! I'm not an Inuzuka, I can't understand that!" Lilith exclaimed. But intuition told her if Lailah was this worried... "Wait, does this have something to do with Irihi-kun?"

"Arf! Arf, arf!" Fervently - what Lilith guessed was - nodding.
