He ran his hand along the side of his head, feeling blood where his silver lock of hair was. "I'll live. The ship, however...." He stepped outside and groaned. The engines were completely shredded, and the ship basically looked like a crushed tin can. "It's never flying again. Not even Rayce could get it working like this." Deenine came floating out and let loose a flurry of beeps and whistles, all angry. He nodded. "I know, I know. How far are we from the homestead?" A few beeps. "Twenty kilometers isn't bad. At least we have some luck. It'll take a day or two to get there."

"That's no trouble." Leeza nodded "Just point the way." she added looking around the strange lands of which she had in some way landed upon.

He nodded and quickly called up Deenine's map. He then pointed to the south-west. "This way. We've got a bit of a walk. Oh," and he grinned, "and keep an eye out for kath hounds. They aren't too bad by themselves, but a pack of them is annoying. Trust me, I know." He started walking in the direction he had indicated.

Norras RoonPeren push the right button to jam there signal then he use a pulsating sensor, slower to give information around them but at least it was harder to found the signal. Two minutes later, he received the data of there surroundings. There was no one around them until a mile from the pirate base. Peren tought that it would take at least 5 days for representative of the Sullust gouvernement, surely soldiers, to come here. He also know that they had took prisonnier with them on there last attack. They had to go release them. Eldin, the surroundings are secure up to a mile from there base. I forgot to tell you that they have took prisonniers with them on there last attack. We must go release them because Sullust won`t be here before 5 days. Plenty of time for the pirates to send them away in slavery, or to kill them. Eldin nodded. "Standard rescue-op equiptment, or do we bring recconaisance gear as well?"

"Good to know..." She mumbled slinging her bag over her shoulder and following him. It was certainly different from what she mostly knew. She began to think of certain things she should look for when they reached the 'homestead'.

Ansion
About two hours later, Jami held up a hand and pointed to something in the distance. It looked like a herd of six-legged animals that were grazing on some grass. "We can use them to move faster across the plains. They are called suubatar."

"...okay.." she felt uneasy but soon whiped it away it's not like you to feel such a way she told herself. "So, just jump 'em?" She replaced her uneasyness with a sly look.

He turned and raised an eyebrow. "Sure. If you want to send them running in the other direction. Watch." He approached one of the beasts calmly, his hand outstretched. The suubatar turned and sniffed his hand, then went back to grazing. He touched it on the neck, and the beast raised it's head, perfectly still. "This one can be mounted now, if you want it."

"Sure." Leeza approached the beast, touching it lightly. It had nothing Rakghouls of Taris for sure. "Your...homestead I think you called it, how big is it?" she asked, making small talk at the moment, probing to know what to expect.

"It's... a small dome. Four rooms, nothing special." He shrugged, trying to act indifferent, when really the thought of his home made him a bit uneasy, like something he was trying to forget.

Jami sighed and mounted another of the beasts. He gave Leeza a quick lesson in riding, then whistled to Deenine. The little black droid hovered towards him, and came to rest on his shoulder. With a smile, he spurred his beast to the southwest. ((Dinner, back in a bit.))

((That's alright)) After a quick lesson Leena followed Jami off to the southwest. This would at least shorten the amount of time it would take them to reach wherever it was they were going. It didn't matter really what the place was like, at least it was an adventure.

About four hours later, Jami brought the mount to a halt. "We need to rest for a while, and the suubatars need some food. It might be better to just stop for the night, since it'll be dark soon."

Leeza dismounted and looked around them "very well then." She dropped her bag to the ground and stretched. "Might as well get a fire or something..." She mumbled looking around.
